This circuit is very different ,that was uploaeded 2 years ago on kasyan tv It isvery short with few components easy to design on very less space. Very good job You may add 4 ampare 20 to 24v transformer or smps.
Thanks. I don't remember the brand name, it is a replacement soldering handle for ZD931/ZD937 or EP5 soldering stations, they're sold under so many names. But they are quite good quality I used a soldering station similar to EP5 for years and it's still working to this day.
Thanks. I normally use the brass wool or wet sponge or both of them but sometimes when I have big ball of solder on the soldering tip I shake it a bit or I hit it just enough for the solder blob to fall off and I guarantee you that the soldering iron will be just fine, is not like I hit with it like a hammer.
@@Evilslayer73 The wiper can be connected to any of the terminals ends of the resistiv element or you can connect it to only one terminal and the wiper and the third terminal leave it unconnected, either way it works.

hI !! ijust finish the soldering station but i have a problem the heater keep heating til it reach 500 celsius and i cant regulate the heat do i need a bigger gate resistor? or wiring of the potentiometer for the input pin 5 is wrong can someone help me please im desperate :((( also im using a potentiometer with a 10 k parrallel resistor to drop the potentiometer to 5 k is it ok or i need absolutely a 5 k potentiometer to make it working properly?
Hi, sorry to hear that you have problems with your station. First check if the thermocouple is connected correctly, it has polarity and if you connected incorrectly the soldering station will not regulate the temperature. 10k potentiometer in parallel with 10k resistor, there's no problem, it works just fine. Please tell me if this solve your problem, I will gladly help you as much as I can.
I'm not hundred percent sure but I think it has thermocouple, a simple way to tell if is thermocouple or thermistor is to measure it with a multimeter, the heating element has around 8 or 9 Ohm and if it has thermocouple it should have a much lower resistance.
I would say it´s more likely to be a thermocouple because thermistors can only tolerate up to 150°C max. mostly. Thermocouple can go from 400-1200°C soldering iron can easily heat up to 450-500°C.
@@vencislavvankov4897 You're right, I put the wrong files by mistake, sorry for that. On the first design I wanted to put the power jack connector and the aviator connector on the back with bottom part of the case smaller but didn't have space for the pcb to mount it inside, so I redesigned the bottom part to be a bit taller with the aviator connector mounted here under the pcb. Unfortunately I can't find the stl file of the top case that has only the power jack connector on the back. You can modify the case as you want and please double check the case dimensions, top and bottom if you still want to make this case. I will remove the stl files from the link provided until I find the right ones. Thanks for the observation!
I bet that index finger heart looks like a saw ouch cut, nice video, yes Kasyan TV is very clever

Check the schematic, this project is COPY of the Kasian TV!! Only little different make PCB.
Nice!!!😃
What kind of tip this iron has?
Hello. Can you make soldering station but with t12 tips? Maibe like kassian do it?! I need simple solder..
Your wish it will come true, soon 😉.
What would be the dimensions to print the circuit tracks on paper on the board?
what heating core it use?

But beating the heating iron like this in order to clean it not good for .

Hello, the 10K R16 trimmer what is it for? Does the PR1 potentiometer have to be 2.2K? Thank you.
Hi, the 10k trimmpot is for calibration and the PR1 it hasn't have to be 2.2k, I actually used a more common value instead 5k.
@@HMProjects simple question the 10 k R16 trimpot wiper connect to which line?

Hi do the pdf schematics are compatible with photo resist method pcb etching?
Of course it is, but I don't know the exact procedure for photo resist method since I only use only the toner transfer.
The resistors is 1/4 or 1/2 Watt ?
Thanks

Yes, I think it will work.
Hello, can I replace the LM358 with a LM393N?
Hi. No, it will not work! Even if the pin configuration is the same the LM358 is an operational amplifier and the LM393 is an voltage comparator.

I finaly make it work thanks again for your precious help!!
Hello!
What is the dimension of the PCB,i want to print one
Hi. It's approximately 5x7cm, it may be a couple millimeters smaller but I can't remember exactly.
Which diodes are you using in this schematics?
They are zener diodes, I don't remember exactly the part number, I think I used 1N4742A (12V) and 1N4733A (5V1).

On Top.stl there is one opening more. What's this opening for? Can it be removed from the project?

On the back of the box in the video you only have one power hole. In the project there are two holes of different diameters.
