Mine will not charge iam thinking it might be broken solder joints at the charge plug so i hoped to see some closeups of the pcb where you connect the charger.
Came here to see how you disassemble this thing. I'm thinking about replacing the 12 VDC cigarette lighter style port with something that will provide a more reliable connection. Thoughts?
18x2500=45,000mah. Series of 3(at 3.7 nominal volts)=11.1volts. 11.1x45ah= 499.5 watt hours. Cheap Chinese cells but should be ok. Nominal volts on these cells is actually 3.6 not 3.7 but whatever. Under heavy loads performance will decrease greatly.
You need to wake up the cells, the thick wires he pulls at 5:23 are the battery pos and neg. I used a car jump starter pack with resistors on the positive and negatives touched to the inside of the xt-60 plug and held it there for 10 seconds, re-installed the connector, verified it woke up, verified it received a charge and put it back together. Hope this helps you or someone else.
just a question, i have some problems with the ac out.... after an error36 my ac ports is not working anymore, during the teardown have you see some fuses in the ac line or not?
Yeah well, it was not a secret . Specs could be seen before buying. It does helps to improve the cycle life which is longer conpared to fast charging models with same batt

it only 10A,for me cigarette lighter port are good enough.

Also you can leave all the other connections intact you only have to pull the lid portion off to gain access.

It will charge faster by solar. 122 watts. vs 86 watts with ac charging brick.
