She had nothing of being a mother with Charles and Anne. Tge first two were much older when he ws born. Edward was not too healthy so was coddled a little too but he was a totally different nature. He is much like George VI.

Charles spent his time authorising the bad side of America to use "Psychological Operations" on an unsuspecting British public whilst he was Prince, and getting (Sir) Keir Starmer NOT to investigate (Sir) Jimmy Saville for his depraved actions. Why? Charles also sought to cover for another pclose friend of his Peter Ball, who was a priest that abused numerous young men. Charles sent in the heavies to try to shut down a police investigation, and after Police manage to continue the investigation and find Peter Ball guilty of the many crimes, Charles continued to write to him and ended up housing him on his Duchy Estate. Epstein? Maxwell, Weinstein were close, intimate friends of the royals with free passage around royal residences. Why? All guilty of sexual abuse and procuring innocent children and adults. I believe the royals and many others were amongst a very section of people who worship something many of us would never allow! To the public they all keep up appearances, behind closed doors there is a very different beast!!
And this is just what we’ve found out about. We’ve clearly just scratched the surface of their dodgy business deals for personal financial gains using our money which we’ve worked hard for and suffered.

@@user-es9tj4xw5t That is true.The reason I talked about G (I can't ever remember how to spell that name) was because I watched an interview with one of the security people. He said that everybody who came through the gates had to stoop and show ID and whoever they were there to see was supposed to have called the gate and told them who to expect and if they didn't, security had to call the palace and ask if they wanted this person let in. This guard said Andrew had GM coming and going at all hours and both GM & Andrew got tired of having to do this and so he went the guard house and chewed everyone out and said she was never to be stopprd again no matter what time it was or even if he was there or not.

Aside from his claims that 'charities find that if a royal is involved they raise more money'. That has been debunked by some well known and credible studies - there is no tangible benefit to a royal patronage. This man says he supports a 'slimmed down monarchy' but may not understand that the SG is hiked year on year, and is set for another massive hike - that means ever more money for the few who officially remain (some of whom do little beyond pleasing themselves). It's staggering that such a closed system is allowed to exist in this day and age - in what world can a head of state (or indeed any publicly funded official) be so utterly self-ruling and so immune from scrutiny.
Not exactly right....the private family service in St George's Chapel Windsor was not a funeral. It was the 1 year memorial service for the ex King Konstandinos of Greece. The funeral service took place in the Orthodox Cathedral in Athens and his body was interred at Tatoi....last year.
Love Mr. Lownie's books and have read them all. Traitor King is my fave so far and very much looking forward to finding out what he uncovers about Andrew. IMHO, the sooner they kick him out of the Royal Lodge the better. I can't even imagine what all he's been up to in there. Wasn't there some sort of Indian healer staying with him for 3 months at one point? I still can't believe Andrew had the nerve to send KCIII a five figure bill for his services at the beginning of his reign. He should be put up in a place where the public can easily keep an eye on his coming and goings since he can't be trusted to behave properly.

@@misscoutts6193 I like the idea of that, but KP would be off limits to Andrew (and Sarah) because it is still the official residence and office of the Prince and Princess of Wales. KP seems wildly inappropriate since the Yorks are shady AF and have a history of hosting undesirable people at the Lodge and selling access in general. St. James' Palace has lots of high end renovated apartments though so it might be a better option?

About 6 months ago it was reported in many main stream news outlets that Sarah, Beatrice and/or Eugenie (or some combination of the three) bought a mansion off of the Duke of Westminster in Mayfair for about $8M so it's not like any of them will ever be homeless. I could really care less where they go as long as it's not grand or costly to the taxpayers and it's somewhere where the public (and law enforcement) can keep better track of him since both he and his ex are shady AF.

@@misscoutts6193 Are you kidding? That needs to come out! I know the royals get a ton of stuff for every wedding and birth but I always think about the people who buying the best THEY can afford. I think about all the ladies who knit, embroider, crochet for months, working on baby gifts. Times have changed, and I don't know how this would be seen regarding royal protocal, but here in Texas, for the last probably wouldn't twenty years, it has become customary for people to announce, say in a funeral notice or birthday party invitation, anniversary invitation, etc. that in lieu of flowers, or in lieu of gifts, "So and so was a lifetime supporter of the Acme animal shelter, Horse Haven Rescue, Museum of the Great Baby Boomer Generation. I made those up, but you get the picture. Flowers are beautiful but EXPENSIVE and they just die. Personally, I won't give to any charity that's budget includes management salaries but imagine what an enormous gift it is to a small, local organization that is doing something good, to have thousands of dollars in a sort of mega donation. Money that would be spent on flowers or gifts the recipient doesn't need, as this sudden huge donation. Here, it's more personal if the charity is specifically named. Charity of your choice sounds like some business HR paperwork after how you want your taxes deducted from your paycheck. The charity sends a receipt to the donor and a notice to the beneficiary so that they can send the usual and proper thank you.
If the new royal couple had a sense of humor, they could name several charities and say that by sending a donation to these charities, the organizations will be able to skip the next fundraiser. This would be truly a great gift because "It will give us an additional 5 days to honeymoon and that is the best gift of all !" Wink wink.

Regular trucks of stuff came and what the RF didn't want was routinely burned because they didn't want it sold for it's royal attachment. That was lazy. I'm sure the businesses were after a royal warrant. But they could've sent them anonymously to people who needed them.
