I’m a huge fan of this event, and everyone has let it known what a great facility Vado is. Along with Hoffman’s response about drivers not showing up, I also think the weather at Vado really hurts them. (Both with race teams and fans) While the weather was really cold this year, that constant wind made it REALLY tough last year when it wasn’t as cold. Couldn’t imagine how it was this year with even cooler temps. This event should still draw a great streaming audience nonetheless.

WWS had a 'free admission' night planned this year and I thought that would have helped the event in a few ways. They had done that concept with some weekly racing nights and the stands would be packed then, so it was a bummer to see that night get snowed out.
Hard to get excited about the Wild West Shootout with the year round calender in DLM Racing when there is no offseason! The lack of no offseason IMO isn't good for DLM Racing!

Vado is definitely top notch track is always great. We did freeze our butts off last year.

It’s tough to see any super late model racing if you live anywhere between Kansas and the west coast

Plus doesnt help want to get lap out motors this early in the year let alone ,plus the weather in the north/midwest has been insane this winter
With the limited offseason it could be too much to get done before speed weeks. Therefore the smaller amount of big name drivers.
Also the Nascarization of DLM Racing is not good aswell!
