Its more of an Action With Abit of Romance and Tiny tiny bit of Ecchi. And yes i would reccomend it, and if you get into it, its got a film thats coming out in -Jan2010, So it will be good depending on the style of anime you watch, i dont watch action much, but this was AMAZING so ye, you should watch it :)
