I think his turn was done very well. Jacen had internal conflict from an early age as a character. His experience with the Yuuzahn Vong and Vergere just took things to another level. In Fate of the Jedi, Luke and Ben followed the trail and training Jacen took during his years of training. They discovered many of the reasons and contributions for his change. Way better than Kylo Ren
