Disney is the what if universe

Legacy ended up being my favorite comic series by the end. I was beyond devastated by Disney dropping the entire Expanded Universe from Canon in 2012. I had read every book & comic series, along with owning the most complete collection of reference books, comic omnibuses, and the vast majority of books in print I have ever personally seen. I felt like it was all for nothing, after the vastly different direction they took Star Wars with the garbage Sequel Trilogy. After “The Last Jedi” was released, I sold off my entire Star Wars collection. Both Expanded Universe & Official Disney Canon. The completion of the Sequel Trilogy, with the release of “Rise of Skywalker”, removed any interest I had to discover what happened next in the Star Wars future storyline. I can tell I am not the only one, with the way Disney has completely avoided most anything revolving around the Sequel Trilogy like it is the plague. No one wants or cares to see anything involving the main characters Disney has introduced in their trilogy. Especially, after they completely destroyed the core three heroes of our childhoods irreparably beyond all recognition of their former selves. They have had so many opportunities to fix their wrongs, but Disney continues to hand out projects to individuals without any knowledge of the major themes, behind Star Wars as a whole. The only people Disney should allow to make decisions, regarding Star Wars Lore, is George Lucas, Sam Witwer, Dave Filoni, and Jon Favreau. At least they seem to actually care about creating a cohesive storyline taking into account previously long established lore from projects already released. If there is any chance to right the ship Disney has sunk, they need to remove Kathleen Kennedy from her position *immediately* to be replaced by one of those three people I have mentioned. I find it astounding the Disney Board of Directors & Shareholders have not fired her after “The Last Jedi” fiasco. I can come up with zero examples of anyone else in a position of power at a company given so many chances after nothing, but failures to the tune of $billions in lost revenue over the course of her tenure. It does not make a lick of sense. Bonus points to be awarded if they were to drop the Sequel Trilogy & the Acolyte from Official Canon entirely. Don’t even get me started…
