I was very surprised you described D-ID's video output as '10/10 quality, can't beat that quality' - it doesn't look realistic or human at all. It's completely obvious it's an AI animated image and I'd give it 6/10 at best. 'Beating that quality' would be looking an actual real human being talking. But great video, thanks for talking through the interfaces and first impressions, really helpful for comparing what both platforms offer

Isn't DID a bit limited in its export size? I want to use my videos for RUclips, Instagram and TikTok. Wouldn't I have to use another video editor to resize and add subtitles? I am still drawn to DID's realistic custom avatars. Feeling very torn at the moment. For Hey Gen, it's nice to have a wide range of video templates available. And the price is sweeter.

Is it just me or did the hey-gen one ruin the original avatars eyes and slightly changed the lighting? I prefer the lip movement in Hey-Gen, but the quality in D-ID.

D-ID is too expensive to have a HUGE WATERMARK branded over the image. A shame such great software is crapped all over with a watermark.
