Some of my favourite bands are on there from a look at the tracklisting. A few of them were better known in the UK than elsewhere perhaps but Wire, Gang of Four, Public Image Ltd, A Certain Ratio, Durutti Column are all great. A lot of the stuff on there falls into UK post-punk, bands that emerged during or just after punk, kept that attitude but broadened their musical horizons. All good stuff.

Great review and interesting project

I didn't realize back in the 80s how the UK scene was different. I guess I thought the US charts were the same as everywhere else lol
