Read the comic storyline. There’s a few scenes that you’ll have a better appreciation for in the movie. Also ultimate alliance 2 is extremely similar to the civil war storyline
For me who don't have the previous versions of iron man this is almost perfect. They could maybe add some more blast effects. But I can easily understand those who will skip this figure because they have the mark 46 in the past
I like the color much better than the original, I don't mind the missing paint for is such a small parts. If you didn't mention it I would hardly notice it.

6:51 They should've added the black eye. The battle damaged RDJ head from the Endgame 2-pack could've worked but the facial hair would've been inaccurate. I've always found the sculpt to be a better younger Tony likeness than old Endgame Tony.
9:30 Another difference is the hip parts are swapped. The new figure's right hip is the old one's left hip. You can see they're mirrored sculpts. That's probably why the hips stick out more on the new Mark 46. 12:05 They forgot to paint the silver on the old figure's left hip. In the previous timestamp, the right hip had silver and gold. Also would've been nice if they painted the small lights on the suit for this release.
At first I thought this was going to be a lame reissue of this armor but at least the articulation has been updated quite some and the colors are way better but I think the RDJ head needed the bruise in the eye to make it stand out more.
As someone who just recently turned 21 and is barley getting into collecting im glad you made us new collectors be heard. I was a kid when they dropped 10 years ago so now is the perfect time for me. My pockets are hurting but when I seen this at my local target HAD to buy. Happy to start my collection with such a nice action figure
I really wish they also made ant man in his civil war Suit a redo of Bucky from Civil war to make it more movie accurate And give us a black widow and hawkeye from civil war also I will love to complete And do a civil war display Even same thing with spider-man in his suit that he Even same thing with spider-man in his Stark tech suit that we saw in civil war homecoming A little bit infinity war Far from home Italy.

If Hasbro actually cared...they would put more accessories in. Extra changeable hands, attachable missiles and anything else we might want from and Iron Man action figure. Plus more articulate would also be nice

I currently have the two pack head on my Civil war suit and it looks like it sits a little high. I also had it on my mark 3 which is also the mark 2 and it doesn’t have a weird no neck look like it does in your video.
Wish they had included another set of hands (gripping hands) First iron man figure of mine and I like it, I am having trouble getting the hands to go up (the wrist molding is slightly hindering it)
Is this line not gonna be available at Target or Walmart? I saw these at my local comic shop & the headsculpt was actually good. It looked just like him, but they should’ve went for the armor from the first movie. The Banner headsculpt was good as well..
Probably my favorite armor he wore in the movies. I wasn't a big fan of the nanotech armors. I wish we'd get a comic accurate new mold for the Marvel NOW black and gold armor. Repainting the Iron Man 3 armor was a pitiful attempt.
I never got this figure single packed, did get the 4-pack but i am selling that as i only got that for War Machine and this Iron Man. I think the new releases look better.
If you have the IM + thanos 2-pack, yes you would have that amazing RDJ head sculpt (again major issue being it’s oversized) but difference being that it came with two head sculpts but each of those head sculpt a had the neck piece too. So you couldn’t use those head sculpt a on other IM figures besides that one. As always great review MCU!

I have that set, the big issue is the size of head on scale 7, but you can remove the neck from the head, I was hopimg they fixed the scale with this new release, but once again Hasbro, they didn't.
Wow.. I collect majorally black series and Gijoe classified, but I feel like I can say that is the closest likeness to the actor from hasbro that I’ve ever seen.. I’m getting this and war machine

I personally prefer the larger head, not only it looks like rdy, it looks more proportionally accurate, since the proportion of the suit itself cant realistically fit in a human being. That been said, the helmet itself is too small to fit rdj head within it, which realistically, the helmet has to be slightly larger than the ones in the film. If you paid attention to civil war, rdj head appears to be much smaller in certain shots with the helmet retracted, like a tiny head with a large body. Too much reliance on cgi, even the partial practical suit looks too large for rdj.
Of all the Iron Man armors they couldve done for this line why repaint an old figure and not even improve it Edit: Ok so i decided to look at some pics of Civil war and I realized that the Sliver not underneath the pad is accurate However the gold on the hands is inaccurate as it's actually supposed to be silver, not gold

The Mark 45 is the ending suit which is my favorite Iron Man suit of all time

Yes it is the Mark 45 that he wore in the final battle in age of ultron And yes the mark 44 is in fact the hulkbuster armor.

I think your memory is a bit fuzzy. The head and neck were separate pieces. You could just pop the heads off the necks.

It takes some moxie, but you can remove the head from the neck in the MK 85 unmasked heads.
