Its a great show and its probably your favorite show and nothing wrong with that but just enjoy the show and don't worry about trying to convince other people its the best show of all time. I'm sure there is people in the comments section of 10 different shows saying the same thing.

I remember watching this show with the captions on because my English at the time wasn't good and this was one the few shows that I use to practice listening and reading, that was 30 years ago. Now I'm rewatching and it feels like watching it for the first time. Great show.
Andy invades Greg’s critical distance one last time. The act of putting his arm around Greg was one of kindness in the extreme, and will be one of Greg’s most cherished memories, I imagine.
I like this series too That comment the detective made about coming in with a lawyer. A Chicago cop once told me told me. If you asked, "Do I need a lawyer and the detective tells you if you're innocent why would you want a lawyer. If you're innocent you need a lawyer.
I get happy and a little sad watching this show. It takes be back to when i was a young guy and watching, now it reminds me im an old man thinking how simple things were once.
I was okay until Greg and Andy took the picture then i lost it again this series had a way of really getting me emotional sometimes in still does what a great show it was and still is.
An absolutely magnificent show. Incredible actors and incredible writing, there will never be anything like it ever again. TV shows are nothing but woke propaganda and p.c garbage nowadays. This is the last show of the golden era of T.V.
When she got to the part when she was told about them dumping her phone, she should have stopped trying to bullshit them and invoked her right to remain silent. She's already in deep shit, but a confession is not going to help her.
I’m amazed that I can still watch this show after they brought in so many female detectives, these gorgeous girls don’t annoy me at all, actually the only one that use to annoy the heck out of me was Kim Delaney and how cocky she was with Jimmy Smits. Then she went undercover to play a Hooker and fell in love with the Pimp, and I’ve been in love 😍 with her ever since 😂!! The Producers and Writers are Geniuses!!
@@mikentosh , Until she played that undercover hooker role, she was about to ruin the show because every time she spoke I’d hit the mute button, she was awful. Playing that hooker saved her, she played it very well too!
My memory of this show is pretty spotty, but I think this was because he passed the sergeant's exam and was offered the open position so he could still stay in the same precinct.
@@JohnnyDFox And usually detectives if they make Sergeant don't get to stay in the same unit as a Sergeant. New sergeants tend to have to go back to working in uniform.
No. Not at all. It's fairly typical whenever a detective takes & passes the sergeant's exam? They have to do a tour of duty back in uniform. If you noticed, Andy's wearing the sergeant chevrons on his uniform. I watch quite a few cop shows. New sergeants usually do a tour back in uniform. Like on CSI:Miami? Detective Frank Tripp took & passed the sergeant's exam. Wound up back in his uniform again too. Just part of the promotion process. On CSI:NY, Det. Danny Messer took & passed the sergeant's exam? Did a tour back in uniform. I can't recall having seen Ice-T in uniform when he was promoted to sergeant as Finn Tutuola on Law & Order:SVU. Or it was a very brief tour. So no. They're not being punished. They have to become bridges between the uniforms and the detectives as sergeants. Having them back in uniform helps them remember where they started. I think that's part of it.
Why are those two female detectives so unprofessional looking..? Long flowing hair... tight revealing sweaters.....? I guess I'm just from another generation..because it doesn't seem right to me..🤔
2:26 christinecatt8039, I agree! I've seen so many shows (legal, cooking, and even medical) where the women are portrayed unrealistically (stupidly)! Of course, that's what appeals to most of the public, I guess. Otherwise, this was a great series!
I dont' understand the appeal of the show. The complications are on "Castle" level, every suspect folds like a cheap suit under the slightest pressure. No indication of how the legal system deals with the revelations. Lawyers are like potted plants instead of zealot defenders of a suspect's rights. Law&Order has it head and shoulders over this fairytale good night story.
The best show ever produced for TV. Andy and crew are great.
I think Law and Order has them beat

My ex-wife is from Indonesia she would watch tv with captions as well to improve her English.
I always cry when I watch these shows~the humanity is palpable xx
I never get tired of this show. ❤❤❤
Best cop show ever me too I watch these episodes all day
Andy and Greg in the locker room is one of the best IMO top 5 scenes.
I remember NYPD BLUE came on every Tuesday night at 9:pm on channel 7 in Illinois! I watched it on my floor model Magnavox Color TV. 😊
I'm from Northern Illinois, we watched NYPD Blue on WREX channel 13 on our 19-inch Zenith. Did you know that Magnavox is Latin for "Great voice?"

NEVER let anyone talk you out of a lawyer if your instinct tells you that might need one. Nothing personal, but better safe than sorry.

Me too. Very emotional
Best show never missed it, wish it was on today. Andy, exceptional,Bobby ohhhhh, love it. So good to see it,thanks 👍🇺🇸
This cast worked hard- with such a fast pace. And what a cast ❤
Don't have a TV so watch on the phone and Andy is just the best. He does not pretend and I like that.
Police should be the way Andy is facing no consequences, Cities would be much safer, No Doubt! Andy Sip is the best! Love his Loyalty.
Full ofr "tune ups!"

Did Andy screw up with the wrong person and as a result was temporarily returned to uniform?

Well, you have to make some concessions to TV glamour. I would think for practical purposes they would keep their hair pulled back.
Do not approve of female cops in the force or army or navy girls wanting to be tough guys 😮😮
