This song was written by Chance for the video game Skull And Bones by Ubisoft. There was a big games reveal Monday, and HF premiered a shortened version of this song live. The gamers can tell you more about the game, but HF blew everyone out of the water with the song. (Pun intended)
Chance wrote this and sold it. It will be coming out on a game that will be coming out later this year. I am so proud and happy for Home Free. I hope this opens more doors than ever for them.
You might enjoy watching the Live Premiere Version that shows them performing this. They also promised that they will eventually release their own music video. Can’t wait to see that!
Home Free is so talented. They can do any genre of music. That was so much fun to listen to. Another one of Chance's pet projects as he loves sea shanties. Chance wrote this for the "Skull & Bones" game. His deeper voice sounded great for this song. And of course all the background harmonies of the guys including Adam's fabulous vocal percussion. I'm not a gamer but I love this. There is a shorter live version of this that you might want to check out.
It’s so good! It’s quickly becoming a favorite of mine too. Chance wrote the song for the game Skull & Bones. How cool is that?! I’m hoping the song will be in the game. I think they’ll make a video for it later this year. Tim goes insanely low. There’s a short video of them doing it live for the gaming community. Chance plays guitar and Austin plays mandolin. Love it!
Definitely check out the live version!! It's a shorter version, but personally I think it is more impressive. The bass is deeper and you can see Adam throat singing along with Tim and Chance at the beginning. Austin & Rob's soaring tenors shine much clearer! You can see Adam chanting "Skull and Bones", etc. 👍👀🤯❤
Chance wrote this for the Ubisoft game Skull And Bones to be released soon Chance was playing the guitar, Austin was playing the mandolin and Adam with his incredible beatboxing. They sang live at Ubisoft Live Premiere. I’m also a HUGE Assassin’s Creed fan. I’m playing Odyssey now lol
A masterpiece by Chance....Wow !! Two things. They have edited out Tim's deeper bass (which most of us love) and which you hear in the live version. at the beginning. Also Robs voice is subdued but is particularly good in this song, also to be heard in the live version. Home Free go to another level, fantastic but can we have Tims great depth back please.
When the Sea Shanty Medley went viral, Ubisoft contacted Home Free about writing a shanty for their game Skull & Bones. Since Chance is their shanty expert, Home Free tapped him to write it, which he did really quickly. And then they got to sit on it for almost a year without talking about it because they'd signed NDAs. They couldn't even use the name till it had premiered at Ubisoft Forward, so it was just labeled "New Song" at first.
I agree to you. More pirate songs. It was so good to see chance to take the lead with his deep voice and then you have Tim from the bottom depths of hell.
This was awesome! Since you love asassins creed, perhaps you played Valhalla. Voiceplay dropped Valhalla Calling which originally written by Miracle of Sound for game. You'd love Voiceplay version. They always dive totally into characters. So they are dressed as vikings. Valhalla is Viking warrior heaven so you know. Hope you enjoy!
Definitely check out the live version. 😊

This game will be fire.

Adam's beatboxing is ridiculous

Chance really shines in this. Chance wrote this for a pirate video.💗💗

Best "ear worm" song ever!

They had me at "Yo ho."
Chance shined. HomeFree nailed this 🎶❤️👏

I believe the Ubisoft co. Put out Assassins Creed and the new Skull & Bones game too. Love that Chance wrote such a wonderful song.
I believe Skull and Bones was originally supposed to be an expansion for Assassin Creeds Black Sails...but its release has been delayed for years now.
Yes it was

That was good to get the background story

The song is for an upcoming Ubisoft game; that's where the Assassin's Creed vibe comes in.
I think this one is gonna garner some new men to the Home Fry family.
From what I heard the game Skull and Bones was supposed to be either connected to or a sequel to Assassin's Creed Black Flag.

Great reaction ❤️🤠 HF is 🔥
SO proud of Home Free! With them tackling this project with Ubisoft, maybe they'll finally begin to get the exposure and accolades they deserve❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️
