You were asking about Machamp being Red in Burst mode in the vid. It's because of Bulk Up, so in Burst it has enhanced Strength and Defense (same as the effect of the move itself in mainline)
This game got me into fighting games to begin with. Even though I'm much bigger into other games now, I still diligently attend an online monthly every time. The community is just so nice I cannot stay away. The best way I can describe it is a Street Fighter, Arena Fighter hybrid, and the Tekken origin is mostly for references and animations rather than any direct 1-to-1 comparisons. While the majority of the fight happens in the Duel Phase, the Field Phase is important for gaining positional advantage, farming super, and tacking on damage. Different characters approach field phase differently, for example: Gardevoir is a powerful zoner who can comfortably fight normally in field phase.. so against someone with a poor field phase like Lucario she wants to stay in it as long as possible to wrack up as much damage as possible.. but if fighting a Garchomp who can bypass her zoning far easier by just walking around it, she wants to swap as soon as she can to give Garchomp a harder time approaching in duel phase... etc.
After Pokken launched on the Wii U, the arcade version was updated with more Pokemon. They skipped the original console release and were added to the Switch port's base roster with Blastoise and Aegislash released later as paid DLC.
As someone who played a lot of Shadow Mewtwo: The Mewtwos are pretty different despite similarities. Mewtwo has high HP, but are Burst meter that takes a long time to fill, and uses Burst when using his Hyper Beam special. Shadow has low HP, and even takes potential damage I believe when using specials, but he gets Burst fast. Mewtwo's Burst form last a long time if I remember correctly while Shadow's lasts a short time. Mewtwo has a Barrier move in the ground with follow-ups. Shadow's Barrier is Air only with different follow-ups. Most notably, Shadow Mewtwo has Miracle Eye, a non-damage move that modifies his projectiles. I think his Back Ranged in Field Phase actually got nerfed at some point because you could stun lock the opponent at the wall with the Miracle Eye enhanced version. They both have Psystrike as a Hit Grab, but I bring this up because Shadow can abuse the long animation to charge up Recover, then use that to get some of the HP he's spending back. They're not that similar honestly.
Kieran, one of Charizard's special moves is Seismic Toss and it's probably the best command grab in the whole game. It also comboes really well with his ultimate move. Charizard in this game is all offense and no defense, he can delete healthbars with some basic combos.
Another interesting thing with Pokken is that each character was designed around their own game plan not just generic archetypes meaning it realy depends on the context of the matchup to whether there will be zoneing, rushdown or both. This will boil down to the character and the ooppent strength. Although there is Dlc it is by no means pay to have an easer time since Ageslash health is realy low and Blastiose is missing a couple of necrocracy tools in neutral allowing decent shadow mewtews to run circles in the match.
Pokken has tekken references but the fighters aren't all based on tekken characters in play style... some even only really having a single move being similar
Another thing is that there aren't really special inputs. A is for special moves, X is for heavy attacks, Y is for light attacks, and B is for Jumping, with the obvious directional inputs. Also characters' moves change in between phases and even depending on whether they are synergized (the super state) or not.
We NEED another Pokken game. I mained Blaziken. Hopefully, Krookodile gets in since he has Close Combat in his moveset now so they could make the Intimidation Pokemon an actual threat
The Tekkén references are more noticeable in the victory and introduction animations than the fightings attacks. I highly recommend looking up the Tekkén references in this game because some Pokémon characters reference more than 1 Tekkén character. I know that Sceptile has some Yoshimitsu animations and Decidueye has Hworang’s triple kick. Oh this is also my head canon but I think Machamp’s red color is supposed to be focus energy because he’s “pumped up” as a reference to Pokémon Stadium.
I love Ash Greninja, but after gen 9, I don't think he'll come back unfortunately, but with legends Z-A it's the perfect time for the Kalos Starters to get Mega Evolutions.
@@carlosmorais7642 Considering Ash Greninja isn't a canon thing to the games, there's no reason they couldn't retroactively make it a Mega. If they can nerf the heck out of Smeargle and Dark Void, they can do this for Greninja. And give the other 2 Megas as well.
@@espurrseyes42 If they gave Greninja a Mega Evolution and used the same design as Ash Greninja, I wouldn't complain, the Kalos starters deserve Megas, it's the perfect time for them to get it, I'm praying that Game Freak doesn't miss this chance to give Megas to them.
Second super?! What?! If you mean grab, I was running out of time on stream and realised it'd be super inconsistent to only do the second half so left it at one
It's a bit hard to tell when non human creatures are attacking with power effects and such in a 2D side step-pable(?) angle xD so it can be hard to notice if not too obvious. But I will recommend ya' to see a comparison of Tekken moves in Pokken
@@ChocolateKieran I only play with Lars so I just catch the moves that others deals to me xD and in the video I only caught the first attack of Pikachu from Heihachi when rotates one leg out and uppercuts. The other with Blastoise did an Armor King with the sping attack and jump over with the body slam, lol. There are videos that points out more than 100 moves, some can look like a stretch or slightly changed to fit with some pokemon moves
Man. Watching you play this makes me miss playing it. I did play competitively for a little bit. My main being Decidueye and secondary being Garchomp. Seeing ya try out Decidueye really made me feel kinda nostalgic
Its worth mentioning that the only 1-1 pokemon attacks in the game are the special moves, though certain burst attacks are designed to sorta be suped up versions of different pokemon moves depending on the character (for an example, Croagunk's special moves are Poison Sting (5A), Poison Jab (6A), Theif (4A), Gunk Shot (j.A), Fowl Play (Duel 8A), and Venoshock (Duel 2A))
I love this game so much! Btw all the move names are in the pause menu, and as you could tell, the game isn't exactly one to one tekken, but a lot of the special moves are functionally based on moves characters have in tekken!
Aegislash is my personal main in the game. He has the only true parry in the game (Forward+Guard, default R) and during a lot of his moves if you hit Guard you swap him to Shield Forme. He has an entirely different move set in Shield Forme, and you restore 10 recoverable HP whenever you go into Shield Forme. If you swap from Shield Forme to Blade Forme (The one you start in,) you get a buff colloquially called "Sharpness" (Which coincidentally is an ability in Gen 9) that boosts your power and allows you to do more attacks with Fury Cutter (Neutral Pokemon Move, default A,) and if you do that seven times, you get a buff colloquially called "Rainbow Flames" which also boosts your speed massively. He's also one of the more complicated fighters in the game because of Stance Change.
A little minor detail, machamp’s Pokédex said he can punch 1000 times in two seconds, hence why you can see machamp’s super has 1000 hits. I sometimes love how this game took this detail literally.
a lot of these moves are actually taken form the pokedex. gardevoir summoning a black hole, machamp doing 1000 punches in 2 seconds, gengar's mouth being a hellgate.
My mains in this game are Braixen (yes, projectiles for days) and Sceptile. Judging by some of your early commentary, how little of this game have you played? Okay, tactical crash course time: - Gameplay routinely alternates between "Field Phase" (3D fighting) and "Duel Phase" (2D fighting), switching with basically every knockdown (e.g. from a combo or grab). Pay attention to the exaggerated hitstop followed immediately by a change in camera angle (overhead or side-on), and also that red-blue "Phase Shift" notification that pops up near your lifebar. - Pokemon are roughly classified into "Power", "Speed", "Technical" (or "Balanced") groups, but I am not qualified to explain the differences. - All attacks are typed according to this triangle: *Standard < Counter < Grab < Standard.* - All Pokemon can perform a standard Counter by pressing X+A (you can also charge it for about 2 seconds). Counters flash blue upon use, will armor through Standard attacks, and a fully-charged Counter can pierce shields. - All Pokemon have a standard Grab, by pressing Y+B. Grabs flash green upon use, will armor through Counters, ignore shields, and will switch between Field and Duel phases. (And yes, there are different Grab animations depending on which Phase you use it in.) - Standard attacks flash red during a matchup against a Counter (which it loses) or a Grab (which it wins). As a rule, the winning attack in a matchup shows a more colorful/vivid color flash than the loser, and the loser of a matchup receives a hard knockdown. - All Pokemon have a standard shield/guard, but may receive chip damage from certain attacks. Winning a type matchup against the opponent does NOT incur chip damage. - You can review a Pokemon's moveset by pausing the game and selecting that option from the menu. Otherwise, you barely even scratched what their kits are capable of. (There's also a Dojo practice tutorial that guides you through all of a Pokemon's moves.) - Most Pokemon moves are Standard, but some may be Counter or Grab typed. For example, Sceptile's Leaf Blade (forward+A in either phase) is Counter typed, and its Burst attack is Grab typed.
Bunch of the roaster also put in the same position in Unite (not all of them) and they also put a credit on this. Nevermind, not surprising that also in the same franchise.
As long as it runs better than scarlet and violet I'll be happy for ZA. Also it would be cool to see what you think of BlazBlue Central fiction finishers or under night in birth
I remember when this game came out I was at the college my sister was going to due to it being little sibs weekend. Using Lucario,Siczor and Charizard (Changing ever so often between them in between matches)I wrecked the makeshift tournament they had set up there. Pokken is the only fighting game I ever did well in.
If greninja was in this game he would definitely transform into ash-greninja and his burst would be the golden water shuriken from the fight with Alan in the anime
I think if they ever make a sequel, machamps new ultimate should have him do the 1000 punch combo again, but every punch makes him bigger as a gigantamax mon, and by the end he's so big he's the size of Galactus, and he does the asura's wrath/ scooby doo punch.
Pokken is genuinely amazing, I’m so sad it didn’t get popular. Also here’s when everyone was added: Most were base game when the Wii U version launched. Empoleon, Darkrai, Croagunk, and Scizor, were all added as dlc for the Japanese arcade versions only. They would also be base game when the Switch version released. Decidueye is base game for the switch version only. Blastoise and Aegislash where dlc for the switch version. Also if you were trying to see grabs, you missed a ton. Every character has minimum of 2 one for each phase. But many have more in like in synergy, command grabs, or some other conditional grabs.
Yeah apparently im subbed, domt remember that, but imma keep it up, i appreciate that end slate, some MH, KH, Halo, DQ, LoZ, FF, Tensura, plus the Pokemon and Tekken rep in vid, yo, great taste
Pokkén is the only fighting game I’ve put time into, it’s the very reason Machamp is my favorite Mon because I mained him. I had the most fun in this game just from learning how to play each character
Imagine if Gen-7-9 Pokemon like these got into a sequel: - Alolan Marowak - Bewear (as the Kuma/Panda) - Nihilego - Marshadow - Inteleon - Obstagoon - Mr. Rime - Hisuian Lilligant - Quaquaval (can be the Eddie Gordo) - Ceruledge (this could be like SC's Nightmare) - Tinkaton (like a tiny Astaroth) - Annihilape (to mimic Akuma) - Gholdengo - Brute Bonnet - Iron Valiant - Okidogi (w/Munkidori and Fezandipiti providing illegal support) - Ogerpon - Archaludon
For a sequel Pokemon I would want to see are Meowscarda give me my beautiful masked catgirl magician thief, Lopunny we need a MMA-type character for this game plus her Mega is a Normal/Fighting type, Lurantis so she could be the Kasumi to Sceptile's Ryu Hayabusa, and Primarina
Maybe a bunch of people have pointed this out already, but Pokken plays nothing like a Tekken game. It just has a lot of Tekken/Soul Calibur references in it. Pikachu has a few of Heihachi's moves, like the Hell Sweeps and EWGF, and even one of his victory animations. Lucario has a blend of moves inspired by Lars and Leo. Croagunk has Miguel's one-hit KO punch. (Even though is sadly doesnt one-hit KO in Pokken) Charizard's normal grab in Duel Phase is a reference to Devil Jin Garchomp's normal grab in Field Phase is a reference to Bryan Some of the stages are references to Tekken. Most notably, the boat with the Magikarp flying everywhere and the dragon sky arena. Mokujin is literally in the background of the dojo stage. The list goes one. Someone has made a few compilation vids showing off these references.

Nothing if you wanna criticize a franchise criticize it on whether or not it delivered on the messages and themes it promised Was friendship magic? Did you meet cute and cool unique creatures? I love Ash Greninja, but after gen 9, I don't think he'll come back unfortunately, but with legends Z-A it's the perfect time for the Kalos Starters to get Mega Evolutions.
@@carlosmorais7642
Considering Ash Greninja isn't a canon thing to the games, there's no reason they couldn't retroactively make it a Mega.
@@carlosmorais7642
It's GamefrEAk. They're the king of missing chances.
Gardevoir burst move is called “Fairy Tempest” so I’m assuming it’s Moonblast with Psychic
21:07 its a shame you immediately forgot about the existence of a second grab and rarely try it after this...
Second super?! What?! If you mean grab, I was running out of time on stream and realised it'd be super inconsistent to only do the second half so left it at one
I meant grab, sorry
@@manupm9161 You're good! I figured it out in the end 😁 My bad!
It's a bit hard to tell when non human creatures are attacking with power effects and such in a 2D side step-pable(?) angle xD so it can be hard to notice if not too obvious. But I will recommend ya' to see a comparison of Tekken moves in Pokken
Yeah it was hard to tell for sure, I'll have to check a comparison video for sure
There's actually a move comparison video between Pokken and Tekken. You can react to that if you want.
32:13 id watch you play legends Z-A for sure ^^
HELL YEAH! That maes me happy to hear 😁
Oh, I was just looking at these!
My favourite is Blastoise.
We need a sequel to this game
Pikachu Libre was my main 😎
A little minor detail, machamp’s Pokédex said he can punch 1000 times in two seconds, hence why you can see machamp’s super has 1000 hits. I sometimes love how this game took this detail literally.
11:8 Scizor just casually activating Hyper cast off (kamen rider kabuto reference)
a lot of these moves are actually taken form the pokedex. gardevoir summoning a black hole, machamp doing 1000 punches in 2 seconds, gengar's mouth being a hellgate.
I'm not even kidding, my phone was low on battery while watching this and it died the very moment Shadow Mewtwo nuked the Earth
LOL that's incredible tiing 😂
So nice to see this game still getting some attention
My mains in this game are Braixen (yes, projectiles for days) and Sceptile.
Judging by some of your early commentary, how little of this game have you played?
Okay, tactical crash course time:
- Gameplay routinely alternates between "Field Phase" (3D fighting) and "Duel Phase" (2D fighting), switching with basically every knockdown (e.g. from a combo or grab).
- All attacks are typed according to this triangle: *Standard < Counter < Grab < Standard.*
- All Pokemon can perform a standard Counter by pressing X+A (you can also charge it for about 2 seconds).
(And yes, there are different Grab animations depending on which Phase you use it in.)
- Standard attacks flash red during a matchup against a Counter (which it loses) or a Grab (which it wins).
(There's also a Dojo practice tutorial that guides you through all of a Pokemon's moves.)
- Most Pokemon moves are Standard, but some may be Counter or Grab typed.
Sceptile actually fights like a samurai
I love how the amount of hits Blazikens Ultimate has is his pokedex No.257
wait… that’s fire! no pun intended
As long as it runs better than scarlet and violet I'll be happy for ZA. Also it would be cool to see what you think of BlazBlue Central fiction finishers or under night in birth
Oh BlazBlue and UNIB are BOTH happening so don't worry! 😁 Let's hope Legends ZA will be a lot of fun though!
Pikachu can actually do the EWGF
I NEED TO SEE IT
@@ChocolateKieran i think it is ➡️ + X or smth, if not try another button
I remember when this game came out I was at the college my sister was going to due to it being little sibs weekend. Using Lucario,Siczor and Charizard (Changing ever so often between them in between matches)I wrecked the makeshift tournament they had set up there. Pokken is the only fighting game I ever did well in.
Yes Sceptile is this game's ninja he even has for his grab in non Burst/Mega Evolution Form Ryu Hayabusa's Izuna Drop.
If greninja was in this game he would definitely transform into ash-greninja and his burst would be the golden water shuriken from the fight with Alan in the anime
fun fact: the attack's names are in the move list
I think if they ever make a sequel, machamps new ultimate should have him do the 1000 punch combo again, but every punch makes him bigger as a gigantamax mon, and by the end he's so big he's the size of Galactus, and he does the asura's wrath/ scooby doo punch.
Pokken is genuinely amazing, I’m so sad it didn’t get popular. Also here’s when everyone was added:
Most were base game when the Wii U version launched.
Empoleon’s Synergy Burst is literally Hydro Vortex before Hydro Vortex.
I respect that!
@@ChocolateKieran damn, I go to edit a spelling mistake and your like is gone lol, sadge
@@broccoliben7961 That's weird, I guess it's in case somebody edits it to say something crazy and the heart is still there 😂 I got you though!
2:40 domain expansion: eternal nightmare.
WE NEEEEED A SEQUEL
Speaking of Dragonball, Kieran, what did the combo count say was the number of hits (27:57)?
This game needs a sequel
pikachu is a mishima in this game, he has EWGF on his forward weak attack
Heihachu Mishima is real
Imagine if Gen-7-9 Pokemon like these got into a sequel:
- Alolan Marowak
- Bewear (as the Kuma/Panda)
- Nihilego
- Marshadow
- Inteleon
- Obstagoon
- Mr. Rime
- Hisuian Lilligant
- Quaquaval (can be the Eddie Gordo)
- Ceruledge (this could be like SC's Nightmare)
- Tinkaton (like a tiny Astaroth)
- Annihilape (to mimic Akuma)
- Gholdengo
- Brute Bonnet
- Iron Valiant
- Okidogi (w/Munkidori and Fezandipiti providing illegal support)
- Ogerpon
- Archaludon
(Even though is sadly doesnt one-hit KO in Pokken)
Charizard's normal grab in Duel Phase is a reference to Devil Jin
Garchomp's normal grab in Field Phase is a reference to Bryan
Some of the stages are references to Tekken. Most notably, the boat with the Magikarp flying everywhere and the dragon sky arena. Mokujin is literally in the background of the dojo stage.
The list goes one. Someone has made a few compilation vids showing off these references.
Pokken was great! I'd love another one day- Speaking of you having lv46 on Crogunk, I got a switch clip of my lucario reaching lv100, and a few others I played often (lesser lv)
Lucario, dark mew, charizard, decid, pikalibre, and suicune were my favorites. but delfox, scept and garchomp/weave were cool
Pokken was top tier.
Also please do a follow-up showing all the support
Agislash does have TWO DIFFERENT burst ultimates depending on if you're in shield or sword mode
WAIT WHAT?! That's dope, kinda sad I missed that
@@ChocolateKieran yeah it's a cool gimmick that fighter has.
I guess if you want to get a bit more in-depth with each fighter, there a character specific tutorial you could do
THAT WAS SOME GOOD ASS POKKEN
I'm pretty sure the move list has the move names
Blaziken basically is Ken as a pokemon
Greninja would have its BattleBond form in this game
I would love to see more Pokemon content from you, I'm very excited for Pokemon legends za and new megas i would personally love to see are Flygon, the Kalos starters, Talonflam,Pikachu and Eevee.
I’m currently a Braixen main but this makes me wanna play scizor Bad
I’d hope to see a whole play through of ZA from you I just hope for some Unova Mega’s.
You should definitely play it. Pokkén’s one of the most goated Pokémon games.
Who's gonna tell him that every pokemon has a different moveset for after they Synergy Burst? Also, Shadow Mewtwo has a VERY different moveset, it's only Synergy Burst and the grabs that are the same
Greninja, Infernape, Zeraora, Hawlucha, Incineroar, Zoroark, why aren't they in this game? I will never understand.
Zeraora hadn't yet been created when DX released. They could appear in a potential new Pokken game.
@@1234_Flux Wait really? I thought it already existed because Decidueye was there
@@carlosmorais7642 Gen 7 was in 2016 but Zeraora was from an event in 2018. The last pokemon in gen 7.
@@1234_Flux I was so confused, thanks for the info.
INFERNAPE!!! FACTS, Hawlucha is another really good one! Sadly Incineroar didn't exist but hopefully we'll get all of these in Pokken 2?!
Mewtwo has both megas as his burst form, it just depends on rng, i had mega mewtwo Y before and the burst ult was different then the one in this video
Wait, really?!
@@ChocolateKieran yea, it's rare to get Mewtwo Y because it's only in team battles and in team battles Mewtwo can't collect synergy energy for it
So you gotta use two other characters to collect energy then they die and you pick mewtwo
My favorite is braixen because I like the magical girl aestetic.
Also Pokken for Switch came with the DLC characters free
I wish there is more dlc packs than 1
24:03 Pokémon games have smaller budgets and have wider scopes then pokken
U guys see Pokémon as a game or any other series that’s either good or bad but it’s not that it’s more than that
It’s a culture and a lifestyle a living breathing world with a story and lore and characters
We form parasocial relationships with these fictional animals because we love them so much and they have so much personality and backstory
their dev time is 3-6 actually u just don’t feel it cuz they work on multiple projects simultaneously with the budget of a Disney channel movie around 15-20mil and they have to balance game release with the anime and the cards
Everyone can say pokemon should be like Zelda or xenoblade but those games don’t have an anime and a tcg they have to abide by it’s like jenga
Also they do make decisions dictated by the competitive scene
And they may or may not share resources that part I’m unsure of
Hot take:
the point of Pokémon is to appeal to the widest audience possible and that there’s something for everyone from mainline to the anime to the spin offs
Well maybe if people got into the other avenues of the franchise rather than solely the games u wouldn’t be disappointed
Since the series was designed to be symbiotic with itself and to experience every avenue together for a complete experience
U guys need to reevaluate ur priorities Visuals, frame rate, art style are irrelevant
People are too focused on superficial nonsense
let’s be real u didn’t get into the original games for the graphics
And If u didn’t play games for the graphics as a kid then why would u play them for the graphics now
Sorry u forgot what the point of Pokémon was to begin with
Pokémon is always meant to be an entry level jrpg maybe the people trying to hate on pokemon maybe they just aren’t into jrpgs
Pokémon SV isn’t an unfinished game they just pull all the effort into the shit that ACTUALLY matters
If
The lore was good
The writing was good
The music was good
The vibes were good
The messages were good
The character designs were good
That’s all you really need
The series knows what it is and its niche(by niche I mean space) and what it wants to be and there’s nothing wrong with that and it doesn’t have to be anything else
The mainstream audience doesn’t care about graphics or bugs or anything they just like to vibe
People are just trying to make it something that is isn’t
And something that doesn’t fit its style
Maybe u don’t like Pokemon just aren’t into RPGs and that’s fine dont have to use that as an excuse to be toxic
If its not ur thing just move on imo
They’re gonna do their own thing and be their own thing in their own way

Calling pokemon “lazy” is lazy they got more to do than most devs they make two games and have to be symbiotic with the rest of the series and all this other stuff
They can’t delay the game they have a symbiotic release system
The games are leashed to the anime, tcg, etc and the anime, tcg etc is leashed to the games
Tpc is constantly playing a game of jenga trying to balance each of its branches
The games are in development for 3-6 years we just don’t feel it because a lot of times they work on multiple generations at the same time they have two teams the games have a 15-20 million dollar budget
They probably share resources
Maybe about the sharing idk
They have been working on Gen 10 for a few years now
Visuals,frame rate,art style are irrelevant
People are too focused on superficial nonsense
If
The lore was good
The writing was good
The music was good
The vibes were good
The messages were good
The character designs were good
That’s all you really need
Can’t believe people still care about that frame stuff
I’m sorry people got so lost and brainwashed by the superficialities of the industry you forgot what Pokémon was originally about
And I know that the game isn’t perfect and that there’s issues
Pokémon is a franchise where the theme is friendship is magic and meeting cute and cool unique monsters
What the hell does graphics and performance have to do with those things?
Nothing if you wanna criticize a franchise criticize it on whether or not it delivered on the messages and themes it promised
Was friendship magic?
Did you meet cute and cool unique creatures?
Ok then it’s a good game
Those are what’s important to Pokémon
As the og theme said
Pokémon is about
Oh your my best friend in a world we must defend
I will travel across the land searching far and wide each pokemon to understand the power that’s inside
Our hearts so true our courage will pull us through
you teach me and I teach you”
That’s what it is about and that’s what it will always be about and if that’s what it continues to be about until the end
Then that’s a strong enough ending for me
Not sure what graphics and animation and performance has to do with that
Performance graphics those things never Mattered
You have to remember pokemon games have only been 3D since 2013 that’s pretty recent compared to other games like Zelda that have been 3D since the 90s and early 2000s so obviously they’re gonna be behind Mixed with the fact that They can’t delay the game because main console for only 5 years compared to Zelda since n64
The franchise was designed so that every aspect of it has a symbiotic relationship
The games can’t release without the anime the merch and the manga and the manga the merch and the anime can’t release without the games
And it’s about time you all understand that by now
They are doing their best trying to balance the games with the tcg and the anime
The Pokémon franchise is like a game of jenga
If you move one thing it all falls apart
They are doing the best they can sorry I’m the only one who appreciates that
Unless you want them to hypothetically release the Gen 10 anime and then wait till the anime gets to Gen 15 to release the Gen 10 games
they are still learning as they go so y’all gotta be patient and give them time to catch up
Their partnership with take two they’ll apply what they learn back into Pokémon so that’s good
You have to remember gamefreak are inexperienced with developing open world games so of course there will be some trial and error the more they work on and improve the game and do future games the better at it they’ll get
Rome wasn’t built in a day we need to be patient
Assuming we get more open world games
NOT TO MENTION ScarVi’s development was probably screwed up by the pandemic
Probably turned it upside down
And before u say just delay the game
They can’t delay the game
The franchise was designed so that every aspect of it has a symbiotic relationship

it’s not outdated it’s rebellious and nonconformist
The games aren’t rushed there is a schedule they abide by for symbiosis
The games and the anime and tcg are all beholden to each other
You can’t move one without ruining the groove
Unless you one gen 10 game to come out years after the gen 10 anime and have it spoiled
There is a symbiosis there
When you watch the anime it makes u wanna play the game and vice versa so they are companion pieces designed to be experienced together for a complete experience
They choose to live in their own bubble and be one of a kind and not imitate what everyone else does and they have my respect for that
the og games bugs are looked back on as charming
Give SV 20 years it’ll be the same
Running shmunning
Did you run thsi through AI?! What the Hell is this?! 😭 Anyway I'm well aware of the arguements for why Pokemon is the way it is. I love the games regardless but that doesn't mean we can't want more for them.
