Stodoys plans are amazing!
The first half of the ruclips.net/user/postUgkx3ICSK6nSknaL_45CU2NmFSoXjarGMDiJ book is everything about wood: types, tools, finishes, setting up shop etc. The second half is all about doing projects for inside and outside of the home. The color pictures are helpful. After reading a dozen of these types of books, this is probably the best overall (layout, color photos, plans). Only detraction is that many of the projects use a table saw/router/planer, which are usually expensive and take up space, so the plans are less friendly to newcomers and the budget conscious. But I know I can use a drill, circular saw or a jigsaw to make the projects.
I have done very similar with Woodglut designs.
Good job Mr Master fabricator
This guy should get a bag for his glue. You can even get a ziploc, it doesn't have to be fancy. It will help put glue in those holes for the spindles and posts. It won't be as mess either, which is always a bonus.
Veryyy interesting and amazing plzzz upload many videos🙏 👏👏👏👏👌👌👌👌😘😘😘❤️👏👏
Master carpenter of 38 years .. and this is " You gotta do what you gotta do " .. A tape measure and all these fancy tools are not always needed .. Just walk the cut in and eye it . .. I call it " Eyeball Carpentry " .. I used to love it when someone said " You can't do that " .. Some of the most elaborate work can be made with the simplest of tools .. and a Brain
A Master worker ! Thank You for sharing
Yes you can make it this way but you have to be very skilled like this guy.
when he is cutting on the bandsaw I can't help but think of slicing a big ham on the bone. Delicious video!
wow, God bless the guy, old fashion way of doing the work.
Welldone!
THANKS
look what you can achieve with a little patience.woodworking skills at there best.amazing.
Total craftsman some of his tools I'd put in the bin just shows what I know.
badass wrk ,
and custom, takes talent for all u haters ,
he is a woodmaker u nxt go to yr local wood store and jst pick up a hand rail made , that's why it's called wood work you work the wood to your desired shape ,
Awsome work
МАСТЕР !!!! УДАЧИ !!!
Easier said than Done not bad
An artist
Tay nghề thợ Viet Nams rất cao.. Do công nghệ lạc hậu quá..
Ok so he did a bit of bodging here n there using screws and filler but that said the end product once fully sanded and painted youd never know the difference. I admire the guys persistence and yes i will say skills as he did give it a go and yeah it would have taken him ages but great end result. Well done Sir

Gluing posts into the steps with sawdust everywhere, drilling holes in the rails on the bare floor, my father would beat me to death if he ever saw me do anything close to that. wow..just wow.
impressive. So glad my time is valued more then this
Master craftsman, superb job, ...
there is a Mexican saying that applies in these cases shoemaker to his shoe good job
very nice craftsmanship
Good work. Without three simple machines
now that is a great job very well done
A real professional.
its all down to how much the job is worth to the customer
and to the tradesman
i think the guy did well and looks a hard worker and probably got paid peanuts
No wonder CNC machines are getting so popular.
Very Good Work. Keep it up.
Thanks you very much!
super!
I wouldn't rely on that resin to stop the banister from falling out,,, ouch 🤸♂️🤸♂️
When close enough is good enough.
Thi công lan can loại này rất phổ biến ở Việt Nam ^^ hi vọng sau này có bác nào ở VN mình sang nước khác mở xưởng gỗ kiểu này thì tốt.
He has certainly mastered doing that job, a few concerns but he has done an excellent job.
Finally someone with shoes ;)
Now that's about as custom as you can get!
You are an Excellent Wood workman ship .
Nice
His measuring equipment was done very primatively, but those measurements were extremely accurate!!!!
Stunning work from a true craftsman!! Bravo!!
in a blink, wood become art...awesome!!
Very impressive
And not a festool to be seen
👌
Would've been nice to see it finished
This guy, has some serious woodworking skills
Son lo mas grande, nos ayudan sin interés alguno.son ustedes la ayuda que todos necesitamos, para los que peinamos canas.
Gracias.
Superb Craftsmanship
Like in Romania...Good job!
Amazing job!!!
If he didn't have the corner piece of the handrail so thick, he wouldn't have as much to plane off, he's just giving himself more work.
At least this man didn’t use circular saw and finger guide to cut curves
Great job.
Although, I don't like the screw fixings. They really should be hidden joints on such a nice piece of work like that.
Wow alat yg terbatas tapi kreatif hebat...
Wow so beautiful woodwork
The fact that he is actually grinding off the contour by freehand really amazed me.... awesome skill..!!
azhar salim agreed! Freehand and by eye!
Not me ! There are tools for that kind of wood work! My great grand uncle was a railing sculptor (early 20th century) and he would not approve !
Tom F...That is subjective because if you have tools to do jobs like that, then by all means. It will definitely make the job easier.
of you take a look at the floor. too much mess. maybe you need a vaccum cleaner. but beautiful work. keep it up!
good job
Thanks you very much!
I have repaired furniture for 30+ years. Have great respect for this guy. However, I have come across that goop he used in imported furniture. Hard as glass. But brittle like glass too. Couple of years of use. His banister will be falling apart out of those over sized holes he drilled. My 2 cents
nice work guys very nice...good job
Multi-talented; cowboy and butcher.
Bon travail
very good job nice video bye 🖒
The level of approximation of this job is killing me.
Классно..
How crazy long did that guy work on the whole staircase???
very goood tachnique
He is good. He doesnt have the fancy tools that the others "guys" have. Others might call it primitive. But he made a good job. He just calculate sometimes. Notice it? God given talent. he is not even wearing something to protect his eyes.
lots of great wood carvers in this section
Thanks you for watching!
Bravo, great job. Hats off to the ancient craftsmen who possessed neither band saw, grinders, or electric planers.
Amazing skills
Cabinetmakers and carpenters should know how to do it this way, unfortunately that is not the case anymore. The mill shop needed a $500k cnc machine and this guy needed a bandsaw, planer, grinder and drill.
Real talent
ở chỗ tôi bây giờ làm cầu thang này ba bậc một cột chứ ko làm theo kiểu mỗi bậc một cột ntn nữa. với lại họ chuộng trụ lớn hình vuông hơn rồi
Super jee I also need same
wow he is owesome carpenter
Imagine what he could do with an Arbortech power wood carving chisel for his angle grinder!
I guess when your wages are 2 bowls of rice a week, you can afford to spend that long doing it.
Meanwhile back at the CNC 5 axis router all 3 bends were made in half an hour.
Hard not to admire his determination, patience and hand skills all the same!.
Off to get me some bags of rice & a green card for this guy! ;o)
Someone should make this dude familiar with arbortech wood cutters. I mean don't get me wrong, his technique seems to be working I'm just of the opinion that there's gotte be a better tool than an electric plane to shape curves :D.
2 cool. Great job
золотые руки!
I wouldn’t be leaning on that balustrade 😬
I'm willing to pay double what this guy will ask. Amazing indeed!
no your not...lol
such craftsmanship and attention to detail
Na bakker ez nem semmi ... király
Damn!
He is the Maestro!
He knows how to give a best treatment for Wood.! 👌👍💯✔
Not use Automatic Screwdriver for real Wood 💯💯💯✔✔
1A Handmade ! Respekt 👍🏻
What a craftsman. Unbelievable!
Cool😃
You know how much work that took just for that🤔🙄 that must be a lot of work and money for a fact that is a lot of money 💰
Wow....I've done alot of stairways in my days.....but never have I seen one done like that...lol. The guy was amazing...considering the tools he was working with. Making his over the post easing's on the job was very impressive....something I would not even consider..lol. Sure wish I could have checked it for strength. And it looked like he made his own pasty glue ...wonder what it was made from.....ancient Chinese secret...:) Amazing skill....Not crazy about all the screws but I have a feeling you know how to hide them well.
Well Considering his level of half-assery… he knew. He knew exactly how to hide those screws.
no square, no tape, no level, you got to give credit when credit is due he curve those elbows with a planer son, a planer, well and the band saw and grinder but good job overall. I honestly like his work, he is a beast. I couldn't do that the way he did it, he sculpted those elbows in. good job bro. my only advice is constantly sweep your work area its gonna elevate your work but amazing work

Disagree 100 present. Looks like a hack. With out proper tools. Very unprofessional.
Jonathan Hughes its called working with what you have. Not everyone in this world is as privileged as you are
Watching this video I couldn't help but think about a society of trees carving humans for their stairs houses and furniture
I’m both impressed and scared about this work. It will certainly look great when finished but will it be safe?
No. It wouldn't be safe at all.
Safe? To look at or actually use?
The guys bouncing his weight on the railing while power planeing and nothing moved, you could grind your skateboard down it safely
You gotta' admit, it's a hell of a lot faster than laying out a tangent rail and gets you 80-90% there
well done. great job
Back to 16th century 😜
Great excellent work
Sehr sehr gute Arbeit.
Solche Wachkräfte gibt es nur noch selten.
Weiter so
This tedious apprentice work make me curious how ancient carpenters achieves those master pieces with basic hand tools and no nails.
Bravo e paziente...........
Ein Handlauf heißst Handlauf, weil die Hand an ihm entlang läuft. Und das kann sie bei Geländern, die auch an den Übergängen kontinuierlich weiterlaufen. Schöne, alte Technik in asiatischer Interpretation. Nett!
