A Dragunov would make more sense as a separate Platform from the Kastov Platform, seeing how it's not AK related at all aside from a passing resemblance. Not only that, we could get both a regular Dragunov and an SVU as Receivers instead.

It isn’t even on the list, but the TAQ-56 is my favorite weapon in this game. You get a 3-shot kill all the way up until those closer to mid ranges as long as you’re hitting your shots right, the iron sights are clean (as always), and it’s quite accurate. Even though I do like it’s bigger brother, the TAQ-V, and consider it my favorite battle rifle, the TAQ-56 still wins for me.
The stats show that m4 has better fire rate and damage, and everything the same as taq56. It feels like taq56 has easier recoil tho but not acording to the stats
The Taq-V is finally getting the recognition it deserves, something about the recoil makes that 2nd shot headshot so easy to pull off. I’m hitting 25% headshot rate and I’m usually a ~10-12% headshot rate with full auto guns
The TAQ-V is just a monster, I am so glad that even on full-auto it serves me well. Honestly, the entire TAQ/SCAR platform is good. All three of them do a good job.
the RPK might take the top for me. it's a laser beam no matter how you build it, it can have the mobility and handling of an assault rifle with the right attachments, and it does crazy damage.
its definitely my favorite gun. Even if they nerfed it into the ground it would stay my favorite because I've always been a fan of the AK and RPD related weapons
@@FlowKom yeah they killed it when it went from a 3 shot kill up close down to a 4 shot kill. But it still holds its own against most ar’s at range with with very minimal recoil
Would love to see in depth comparison between weapons of different classes, like a Kastov 47 vs a RPK with attachments that make it more like an AR. There are so many different weapons that fit this genre would be interesting to see what builds work the best.
I think the TAQ-56 is still one of the best feeling ARs in the game. I built it for hip fire for camo hunting, then slightly modified the build afterwards and found a great niche. Very easy to use and enjoy.
I like a slightly higher fire rate, that’s why I use m4 and chimera all the time now (sick of sweating with the vaznek n lachmann) and it just shreds opponents with straight headshots
As a gun nut, I've always been the type that builds my weapons based on looks and 'tacticool' rather than going for what is always considered to be the best in-slot choice, and then learning to perform with that instead. With that said, my top two guns are easily the M4 and the TAQ-V, those two being reliable go-to rifles in nearly every shooter I've ever played. I love the versatility that they offer, especially so since I like to switch my playstyles between defensive and aggressive very quickly.
I definitely agree that weapon balancing is pretty good. There's only been a few guns I've used that I felt were bad, but even then they weren't unusable. I hope this keeps up because I enjoy feeling free to use whatever gun I want without feeling I'm at a huge disadvantage
I'd love to see a content drop where they add a whole new gun variant in and drop them all at once so we have like 4-5 new variants to use and try. Would be interesting

@@bobdarrick2628 Can you provide an example? I disagree completely. Also, a lot of the guns have similar or the same stats as a bunch of other cods so I don't really understand that point of view. It's been like that for over a decade. I'd rather get 5 new guns instead of 1. Also the platforms haven't all been as pronounced as they are now but they've done it in basically ever CoD to a lesser extent all the way back to CoD4. AK74u, AK, RPD, Draganov. etc.
@@EpsteinNoSeppuku I guess I can, but it will be very long to explain. Okay I’ll get to it. Before I do, I’ll acknowledge what you said about the other stuff. Yeah, we do get similar guns every year. You can always expect an AK of some sort (AN94 in BO2 is close enough - WW2 had the StG-44 & BAR - not that close). And you get a fast firing AR and a low recoil one. The M4 type weapon can be either of those (NV4 in IW was low recoil but in MWII the M4 is more of a fast firing AR that isn’t a laser beam). The M4 is fairly controllable though.
Yeah the balance is good. We just need more maps man. 2 was not enough. We need like 5 in S2 to make up for it and 4-5 going forward. And add Gunfight.
@@bobdarrick2628 How is the balance good though? Just about every squad in warzone 2 is running the RPK/Fennec/Vaznev build. You’d be seeing more variety of weapons if the guns are truly balanced.
He's actually always played really well but I think in all his other videos he's only weapon testing and playing casual with his friends and subscribers. You should see him play try hard against the pros...he really holds his own

UZI was the ultimate speedy hipfire build in the whole game. It bc was my go to I spent so much time running it on shoot the ship with in my red tracksuit.
I have been working on the the camo grind and after levelling them all up, I can say the gun balance in this game is great and especially this early in the games lifecycle. This is one of my favourite CODs in years. This year I feel they nailed the gun balance early which I hope in turn gives us better content in the future. My favourite platform is the STB I prefer the faster fire over the AK platform , It reminds me of the BO1 FAMAS. STB platform is easily overlooked over popularity of the other guns.
I agree that this is the best weapon balanced game we've had in a while. Ton's of viable guns to choose from and you don't have to feel pigeon holed into using "meta" guns to do well. I would agree with your list too. I'd probably do some shuffling of the order but I can't really argue with any of your choices. Great work!

I have really enjoyed the weapon balancing myself currently, hoping they don’t change too much with future updates. 5:PDSW so damn consistent 4:TAQ V headshot machine 3:TAQ 56 Mr consistent 2:Chimera mid range death machine 1:RPK just my most fun to run
Crazy to think I still don’t have a favorite/main weapon. I’ve legit have been having so much fun using all the different weapon classes every match that I never found myself looking into finding one yet.

I completed the Orion grind (mostly done before season 1) and after completing, I didn’t sense much difference in any of the weapons compared to others in class. The ones that stood out were the SAB50, RPK, Fennec, and 74U. Most of the snipers were similar, so not much there. The combat rifles at full auto were deadly, though I didn’t realize they went full auto until I had all but one completed though platinum…single shot was the only way I could get long shots. GREAT video, thanks for it.
I do agree with what you said about weapon variety, but I still get put into lobbies where 5/6 of the enemy players are running a gold ak74u’s. I love my MP5 w/ a combat knife and rushing in SnD, it’s very fun.
I was a die hard Lachman sub avocate and I still love it but lately I've been running the Minibak... with the right build it's super sick and should definitely make top 10 in my humble opinion.
I do have some preferences in terms of guns but I've been enjoying trying out more guns due to the way you unlock guns (I wasn't a fan of this but have kinda come around to it). In terms of balance, I've always been very critical of CoD games in the past and sometimes skipping entries, but I've never had so much fun playing multiplayer in ages between regular multiplayer and DMZ I feel the developers have done a good job (though there's always room for improvement).
I've grown quite attached to the bas-p lately and its my go to *assault rifle* with the few benefits of an smg although it lacks the power of other smgs it makes up for it in versatility, if only suppressors didn't disable the ghost perk the typhon barrel could prove to be a useful attachment for staying off the radar but nevertheless i find it one of the most visually appealing guns.
It's not, but the buff made it better than 50% of similar guns... It wasn't quite that bad before, and it's not quite that good now but it certainly made a big difference to WZ/DMZ
@@MacGuffin1it’s better than the majority of ars if your aim is good & consistent. The 3sk is incredibly fast with minimal recoil. You’re undermining it
@@davixn yeah and the recoil being so manageable means no reason to really run a recoil muzzle. You can use a damage range silencer and stretch that 3 shot potential out really far.
This is gonna sound weird but the X12 pistol with a stock, trigger, and extended mag is insane. Its a complete laser beam. Easily the most accurate gun in the game, just spam that trigger and watch people drop
Thanks for a great video. Surprised to see the Kastov 545 at the top, as I was doing grinding poly with it in Shipment yesterday, and it didn't feel good at all. But I can see how it'd be better at range, and probably it's at least partially a skill issue, as it still kills pretty slowly up close if you don't hit those upper body shots.
Awesome video, as always! A top 3 is hard but I'd certainly want to shout out the EBR personally. I think it also did awesome with its appearences in campaign, felt super good and made me excited to build my own EBR class Can I ask your thoughts on the TAQ-56?
Lachmann 556 is awesome! I haven't used it since the first week or two, but using it the past two nights I was going wow this thing is stupid accurate!
@@jamievick7937 that's exactly what made me pick it back up. I'd like to see my accuracy with it. It might be "slow" to kill but when you can easily hit all your shots and beam people across the map it's kind of a dope weapon. Plus no one uses it so I always like being that off meta guy for whatever masochistic reason.

The kastov 545 got quite the glow up with that buff, just don't try to rush around with it and stick with enemies from mid to long range and you're golden Side note: not that you can't rush with this gun it's just I wouldn't really recommend it for an aggressive play style
The 545 in my experience has been one of the better rushing ars. It’s accurate even when you stack ads attachments on it. If you’re accurate and consistently get the 3sk it’s top tier
For personal preference the TAQ-56 would be my #1 gun it just feels amazing and the Headshot multiplier is insane. With the Vaznev, Kastov 762, Kastov 545 and for some reason the FSS Hurricane rounding out my top 5
I used the 545 before the buff when I started the camo grind and decided to switch to launchers. But even then when the game came out I really liked the 545 I thought it was good and loved how accurate it was. Now it’s just gotten actually better and it’s easily the best AR in the game
I'd definitely be happy if they carried over a few COD Ghosts weapons, AK-12, Remington R5, SVU, Vector. I kicked much ass with the SVU and wasn't too shabby with the others listed. Ace, how about a video series on how these weapons perform on DMZ or WZ vs MP? I know in those other game modes, I like the VEL, that thing rips something fierce!
Honestly I have no issues with most of the guns. But I love the balancing between subs and ars this year. So far most subs hold their own in the close range while ars really dominate that mid-long range. The only things I’d maybe change are slight buffs to the vel46 and bas P as they’re a little inconsistent imo. And maybe nerfing the marksman’s a little more so they aren’t as spammed in pubs. Maybe a slower ads or even more flinch
My top 3 guns in MWII so far: 1. TAQ-56 (a.k.a SCAR-L) 2. TAQ-V (SCAR-H) 3. Vaznev-9K (PP-19 Vityaz) Though the TAQ-56 wasn’t mentioned in the video, it’s still my favorite gun in the game cuz of how accurate it is. As for the TAQ-V, it’s my second favorite not just being the individual full auto battle rifle, but also controllable and shreds like a hot knife through butter. And for my thoughts the Vaznev, it’s a top-tier SMG with better ranges but it can get outpaced by MP5 people in the TTK department. In a comparison with the MP5, it fires a bit slow by 20 rpm and has a 10 millisecond difference in ADS time. Overall, I prefer the Vityaz as my favorite when it comes to SMGs.
Cool list, I'm slowly leveling and unlocking weapons to get attachments. I'm not to bothered about ADS speeds as I play a slower playstyle. Your firearm loadout is only a part of the picture as someone who's trying to level pistols, knowing how to beat out someone's objective advantages is a skill I'm slowly learning. (it's also really fun pistol whipping a Ghost with their solid gold meta eyesore) Also "Gun balance is the least of this game's problems" is probably the nicest way a CoD commentator has to the state of the game I've seen.
I use it to counter the RPK. I get all kinda unintended headshots because of its recoil and straight up win gun fights like a pro. Aim for body > not so great recoil control > headshot > win
I think the weapon balancing is amazing! I'm really surprised the Lachmann 556 isn't on your list. That thing just shreds! After I unlocked Orion, it had my highest KDR other than sniper rifles, and it only took 32 kills go get my 25 headshots.
This is the first CoD game that I feel did the guns justice. The fact that the Kastov 5.45 aka a AK-74 irl is in the rifle category and not a SMG is refreshing. Being put in the SMG class in past games annoyed the shit outta me. They seemed to have really captured the look and function of the weapons we have at our disposal. If you own actual firearms, like I do, you really appreciate a lot of the little details. Not everything is perfect, but better than several of the previous games. My biggest issue is with the different calibers and ammo types when applied to penetrating walls etc.
And a special shoutout to my main squeeze, the Iron Sights MCPR! I love to run an SMG like a fennec or vaznev and pair it with this iron sight sniper. Fun loadout
Vaznev for snd it’s just so versatile. But I need an honorable mention for the minibak in respawn game modes the mag size alone is what turned me on to the gun. I’d love to a ranking of the pistols, even before and after trigger attachments.
I think the weapon balance is one of the best i remember, everyone has his favourite weapon and can do good, i love taq-56 and the minibak that arent even on this list but are the ones i play better, and other people do good with other guns and from someone that came from old cods where everyone was using the same weapons i think this one improved a lot on that department
I've been practicing with the single shot weapons, marksman and sniper rifles. I've never been very good with them, but after some practice I can see why people like them. Anything in the Bryson Long platform has become a top choice for me, but in terms of automatics, I like the SCARs (L and H) and the RAAL MG.
My favourites are the TAQ V , Chimera , Lockwood Mk2 , RPK , SAB 50 ,Fennec 45, not in any particular order. In DMZ I always use the RPK with a specific build. It's just a great all around gun that performs. In MP I use different gun builds for different maps and game play. Though the chimera is mainly my secondary unless it's a Marksman rifle for a range boost depending on primary weapon choice. For me it feels better then most SMG and is silenced as standard.
My favorite guns, no particular order as well. Chimera P90 SPX80 Kastov 545 FTAC Recon P890 (after the RoF trigger unlock) Vector State of gun balance is fine, as long as they nerf the SPRs (add flinch) and overall sniper accuracy in hip fire.
M4, Minibak,P890, RPK, TAQ-V, Lockwood 300,PDSW 528, M16, Signal .50, and FSS Hurricane. But there's ALOT of really viable choices/ set ups, great variety keeps it fun
DEFINITELY surprised with the M4’s rank!! I agree it’s not technically the best (TTK for example) but the fire rate is more forgiving and most engagements you end up missing 2-3 shots here and there whether you notice it or not, can’t look at raw TTK times too much
The most underrated gun for me is the icarus 556 canted laser big mag and a few mobility attachments is very underrated and absolutely melts however has a strong initial kick
Still working to unlock the 9k Definitely liking all your other choices this definitely feels like the best balance I’ve seen out of call of duty games Pretty much any gun you put in some time and can definitely be something good Which is great because the way they did the unlock system for the guns/attachment system for the guns is Grindy as hell 😂
Honestly, the SA-B 50 and the SP-R 208 should be up there for sure, easily some of the best quickscoping guns in COD history. In the hands of a skilled player, almost nothing can beat them up close. The SP-R is considered the “best shotgun” in the game for a reason.
The 545 was my best performing Assault Rifle, or at least the one that felt the most consistently effective while levelling it even before the nerf. If I wasn't trying to rank up the weapons I don't like using right now, it'd be my main choice for any mode.
Lever action Lockwood is probably my favorite. Not my most used by any means. However, nothing beats the feeling of running around with a sawed off lever action and popping heads or getting one shot upper torso shots.
I think the most helpful weapon/attachments adjustment is to Isolate modes like the 6V6 and Warzone. we have people that uses AP ammo thinking it works well against vests in Warzone while it was actually designed for peircing surfaces in 6V6 with absoloutely no vests in mind while in creation. alot of things doesn't make sense because of this particular issue.modes needs to be separated.
I love the SA-B 50. I'm mediocre and this makes me feel like a monster sometimes. I agree with the TAQ 56 fans. Was the first gun I loved since getting it as the beta perk. I do like the weapon balance in the game, though some of the guns cross boundaries into the territory of others without a significant enough penalty.
RPK is my favorite hands down. 30 round mag and a lite stock and it competes at all ranges. Melts! Kastov 762 coming in 2nd, bit harder to control but consistently drops people anywhere Bringing up third place is the kastov 74u. Post patch its not as strong but fills the niche of a smg/AR hybrid
I've been leveling up the AK/Kastov tree, good to see I'm on the right track lol. Also re: weapon balancing, I think it's honestly pretty even. I probably am not the only one who remembers in MW2019 when the AS-VAL came out and it was plain r3tarded for forever until it got nerfed. Nothing like that in MW2 so far really. I'd say it's pretty map dependent, and I only play 6v6 MP, no Warzone. My biggest thing has been carrying a main gun plus a shotgun but the perks seem weak compared to MW2019 so I don't feel like I'm losing anything by carrying 2 main weapons.
I'm glad I maxed out the Kastov family first, most if not all of those guns are really good. Although my favorite has to be the Kastov 762, it reloads really fast and hits like a truck.

You can also easily build it to have effectively zero recoil. My class has next to none and is still faster overall than the base. It’s nuts.

That's because it has some crazy first shot recoil, at the right range an upper torso shot will put the next one right to the head.

It's my highest K.D. weapon in the game by far. I love it but I 100% expect it to be nerfed in the next weapon balance patch.

I've still been running the STB556 even after it got nerfed. It has some insane handling for an AR and the recoil is very manageable.

The M4 type weapon can be either of those (NV4 in IW was low recoil but in MWII the M4 is more of a fast firing AR that isn’t a laser beam). The M4 is fairly controllable though.
The weapon balancing is in really good spot right now in my opinion. Also I did not expect the kastov 545 to be top tier

UZI was the ultimate speedy hipfire build in the whole game. It bc was my go to I spent so much time running it on shoot the ship with in my red tracksuit.

I have been working on the the camo grind and after levelling them all up, I can say the gun balance in this game is great and especially this early in the games lifecycle. This is one of my favourite CODs in years. This year I feel they nailed the gun balance early which I hope in turn gives us better content in the future. My favourite platform is the STB I prefer the faster fire over the AK platform , It reminds me of the BO1 FAMAS. STB platform is easily overlooked over popularity of the other guns.
I feel like the balance will be tweaked several times throughout the lifecycle, especially if Infinity Ward stays on top of weapon balance
I agree that this is the best weapon balanced game we've had in a while. Ton's of viable guns to choose from and you don't have to feel pigeon holed into using "meta" guns to do well. I would agree with your list too. I'd probably do some shuffling of the order but I can't really argue with any of your choices. Great work!

Crazy to think I still don’t have a favorite/main weapon. I’ve legit have been having so much fun using all the different weapon classes every match that I never found myself looking into finding one yet.
I think this is the first COD game where every gun is viable as long as you customize it to your playstyle and skillset. I am loving it so far.

I completed the Orion grind (mostly done before season 1) and after completing, I didn’t sense much difference in any of the weapons compared to others in class. The ones that stood out were the SAB50, RPK, Fennec, and 74U. Most of the snipers were similar, so not much there. The combat rifles at full auto were deadly, though I didn’t realize they went full auto until I had all but one completed though platinum…single shot was the only way I could get long shots. GREAT video, thanks for it.

I do agree with what you said about weapon variety, but I still get put into lobbies where 5/6 of the enemy players are running a gold ak74u’s. I love my MP5 w/ a combat knife and rushing in SnD, it’s very fun.
The Chimera is my favorite gun. That headshot potential is just insane and I just love the free suppressor on top of that

I really like some of the DMR's. I feel like they are in a great place and I've maintained a 1.6kd with the ebr-14 even after a hundred games with it.
I was a die hard Lachman sub avocate and I still love it but lately I've been running the Minibak... with the right build it's super sick and should definitely make top 10 in my humble opinion.

HCR 56, put on a smaller mag and it absolutely shreds. Super easy to control recoil.

I do have some preferences in terms of guns but I've been enjoying trying out more guns due to the way you unlock guns (I wasn't a fan of this but have kinda come around to it). In terms of balance, I've always been very critical of CoD games in the past and sometimes skipping entries, but I've never had so much fun playing multiplayer in ages between regular multiplayer and DMZ I feel the developers have done a good job (though there's always room for improvement).

I've grown quite attached to the bas-p lately and its my go to *assault rifle* with the few benefits of an smg although it lacks the power of other smgs it makes up for it in versatility, if only suppressors didn't disable the ghost perk the typhon barrel could prove to be a useful attachment for staying off the radar but nevertheless i find it one of the most visually appealing guns.
Wow did not know the 545 was THAT good after the buff, I'll have to revisit it.
It's not, but the buff made it better than 50% of similar guns... It wasn't quite that bad before, and it's not quite that good now but it certainly made a big difference to WZ/DMZ

@@davixn yeah and the recoil being so manageable means no reason to really run a recoil muzzle. You can use a damage range silencer and stretch that 3 shot potential out really far.

This is gonna sound weird but the X12 pistol with a stock, trigger, and extended mag is insane. Its a complete laser beam. Easily the most accurate gun in the game, just spam that trigger and watch people drop
It's wack, with the stock and barrel equipped I can get consistent kills at 40 meters which is just crazy.

Thanks for a great video. Surprised to see the Kastov 545 at the top, as I was doing grinding poly with it in Shipment yesterday, and it didn't feel good at all. But I can see how it'd be better at range, and probably it's at least partially a skill issue, as it still kills pretty slowly up close if you don't hit those upper body shots.
Awesome video, as always! A top 3 is hard but I'd certainly want to shout out the EBR personally. I think it also did awesome with its appearences in campaign, felt super good and made me excited to build my own EBR class

@@jamievick7937 that's exactly what made me pick it back up. I'd like to see my accuracy with it. It might be "slow" to kill but when you can easily hit all your shots and beam people across the map it's kind of a dope weapon. Plus no one uses it so I always like being that off meta guy for whatever masochistic reason.

The kastov 545 got quite the glow up with that buff, just don't try to rush around with it and stick with enemies from mid to long range and you're golden
Side note: not that you can't rush with this gun it's just I wouldn't really recommend it for an aggressive play style
The 545 in my experience has been one of the better rushing ars. It’s accurate even when you stack ads attachments on it. If you’re accurate and consistently get the 3sk it’s top tier
I finally leveled up to the 545 last night and was trying to use it at 47 and 74 ranges and nope lol... def need to get in closer.

For personal preference the TAQ-56 would be my #1 gun it just feels amazing and the Headshot multiplier is insane. With the Vaznev, Kastov 762, Kastov 545 and for some reason the FSS Hurricane rounding out my top 5

Honestly I’m so impressed with the guns in this game. So much variety to choose from at launch and most are viable to go off with.
I used the 545 before the buff when I started the camo grind and decided to switch to launchers. But even then when the game came out I really liked the 545 I thought it was good and loved how accurate it was. Now it’s just gotten actually better and it’s easily the best AR in the game

I'd definitely be happy if they carried over a few COD Ghosts weapons, AK-12, Remington R5, SVU, Vector. I kicked much ass with the SVU and wasn't too shabby with the others listed. Ace, how about a video series on how these weapons perform on DMZ or WZ vs MP? I know in those other game modes, I like the VEL, that thing rips something fierce!
Honestly I have no issues with most of the guns. But I love the balancing between subs and ars this year. So far most subs hold their own in the close range while ars really dominate that mid-long range. The only things I’d maybe change are slight buffs to the vel46 and bas P as they’re a little inconsistent imo. And maybe nerfing the marksman’s a little more so they aren’t as spammed in pubs. Maybe a slower ads or even more flinch
My top 3 guns in MWII so far:
1. TAQ-56 (a.k.a SCAR-L)
2. TAQ-V (SCAR-H)
3. Vaznev-9K (PP-19 Vityaz)
Though the TAQ-56 wasn’t mentioned in the video, it’s still my favorite gun in the game cuz of how accurate it is. As for the TAQ-V, it’s my second favorite not just being the individual full auto battle rifle, but also controllable and shreds like a hot knife through butter. And for my thoughts the Vaznev, it’s a top-tier SMG with better ranges but it can get outpaced by MP5 people in the TTK department. In a comparison with the MP5, it fires a bit slow by 20 rpm and has a 10 millisecond difference in ADS time. Overall, I prefer the Vityaz as my favorite when it comes to SMGs.
SCAR weapons are my all time favorites. They're a joy to use.

Cool list, I'm slowly leveling and unlocking weapons to get attachments. I'm not to bothered about ADS speeds as I play a slower playstyle. Your firearm loadout is only a part of the picture as someone who's trying to level pistols, knowing how to beat out someone's objective advantages is a skill I'm slowly learning. (it's also really fun pistol whipping a Ghost with their solid gold meta eyesore)
Also "Gun balance is the least of this game's problems" is probably the nicest way a CoD commentator has to the state of the game I've seen.

I really like the Tac V. Will flip it to semi auto for range work but back to full auto for anything closer.
I use it to counter the RPK. I get all kinda unintended headshots because of its recoil and straight up win gun fights like a pro.
Aim for body > not so great recoil control > headshot > win

Taq-V is #1 for me. I play MnK and it rewards accuracy. I didn't know the Kastov 5.45 got buffed, might have to try it out!

I'm really surprised the Lachmann 556 isn't on your list. That thing just shreds! After I unlocked Orion, it had my highest KDR other than sniper rifles, and it only took 32 kills go get my 25 headshots.
This is the first CoD game that I feel did the guns justice. The fact that the Kastov 5.45 aka a AK-74 irl is in the rifle category and not a SMG is refreshing. Being put in the SMG class in past games annoyed the shit outta me.
They seemed to have really captured the look and function of the weapons we have at our disposal. If you own actual firearms, like I do, you really appreciate a lot of the little details.
Not everything is perfect, but better than several of the previous games. My biggest issue is with the different calibers and ammo types when applied to penetrating walls etc.
I love the depth of these stats all the way down to the Toe shots
And a special shoutout to my main squeeze, the Iron Sights MCPR! I love to run an SMG like a fennec or vaznev and pair it with this iron sight sniper. Fun loadout
Vaznev for snd it’s just so versatile. But I need an honorable mention for the minibak in respawn game modes the mag size alone is what turned me on to the gun.
I’d love to a ranking of the pistols, even before and after trigger attachments.
I think the weapon balance is one of the best i remember, everyone has his favourite weapon and can do good, i love taq-56 and the minibak that arent even on this list but are the ones i play better, and other people do good with other guns and from someone that came from old cods where everyone was using the same weapons i think this one improved a lot on that department

I've been practicing with the single shot weapons, marksman and sniper rifles. I've never been very good with them, but after some practice I can see why people like them. Anything in the Bryson Long platform has become a top choice for me, but in terms of automatics, I like the SCARs (L and H) and the RAAL MG.
Im addicted to the remington 870 , wooden barrel with canted green laser and extended long barrel . Those 30m headshots are very satisftying to pull
If your referring to the Bryson 800, it's actually modeled off the Mossberg 500 series of shotguns
My favourites are the TAQ V , Chimera , Lockwood Mk2 , RPK , SAB 50 ,Fennec 45, not in any particular order. In DMZ I always use the RPK with a specific build. It's just a great all around gun that performs. In MP I use different gun builds for different maps and game play. Though the chimera is mainly my secondary unless it's a Marksman rifle for a range boost depending on primary weapon choice. For me it feels better then most SMG and is silenced as standard.
Chimera is my #1 rn just feels so satisfying with the built on suppressor and fire rate, great gun for mix of ar/sub playstyle
My favourite is just every pistol, they're so insanely fun, and can compete with most of the primaries in my experience.

State of gun balance is fine, as long as they nerf the SPRs (add flinch) and overall sniper accuracy in hip fire.

But there's ALOT of really viable choices/ set ups, great variety keeps it fun
DEFINITELY surprised with the M4’s rank!! I agree it’s not technically the best (TTK for example) but the fire rate is more forgiving and most engagements you end up missing 2-3 shots here and there whether you notice it or not, can’t look at raw TTK times too much

The most underrated gun for me is the icarus 556 canted laser big mag and a few mobility attachments is very underrated and absolutely melts however has a strong initial kick

Honestly, the SA-B 50 and the SP-R 208 should be up there for sure, easily some of the best quickscoping guns in COD history. In the hands of a skilled player, almost nothing can beat them up close. The SP-R is considered the “best shotgun” in the game for a reason.
The 545 was my best performing Assault Rifle, or at least the one that felt the most consistently effective while levelling it even before the nerf. If I wasn't trying to rank up the weapons I don't like using right now, it'd be my main choice for any mode.
Lever action Lockwood is probably my favorite. Not my most used by any means. However, nothing beats the feeling of running around with a sawed off lever action and popping heads or getting one shot upper torso shots.
I think the most helpful weapon/attachments adjustment is to Isolate modes like the 6V6 and Warzone. we have people that uses AP ammo thinking it works well against vests in Warzone while it was actually designed for peircing surfaces in 6V6 with absoloutely no vests in mind while in creation. alot of things doesn't make sense because of this particular issue.modes needs to be separated.
I love the SA-B 50. I'm mediocre and this makes me feel like a monster sometimes. I agree with the TAQ 56 fans. Was the first gun I loved since getting it as the beta perk.
I do like the weapon balance in the game, though some of the guns cross boundaries into the territory of others without a significant enough penalty.
I use to main the LACHMANN 556 before the buff, after that switch to using the KASTOV 545; good TTK & it’s already accurate

Also re: weapon balancing, I think it's honestly pretty even. I probably am not the only one who remembers in MW2019 when the AS-VAL came out and it was plain r3tarded for forever until it got nerfed. Nothing like that in MW2 so far really. I'd say it's pretty map dependent, and I only play 6v6 MP, no Warzone. My biggest thing has been carrying a main gun plus a shotgun but the perks seem weak compared to MW2019 so I don't feel like I'm losing anything by carrying 2 main weapons.
I'm glad I maxed out the Kastov family first, most if not all of those guns are really good. Although my favorite has to be the Kastov 762, it reloads really fast and hits like a truck.
