When it came out i spent 4 hours playing. I gave up. 3 months ago i came back and boom..... platinum trophy. Its amazing what getting in to dark souls did for me. It made me realise that bloodborne is the gratest game of the ps4 exclusives. By far. If i had a ps5 im sure id feel that way about demon souls
I'm a first time player to the souls game, and I spent 45mins trying to beat the wolf barehanded with no avail, because I had no clue what I was supposed to do, and that's where i quitted the game. This video may have saved the game for me. I wish the game itself is a bit friendlier to new players, not in terms of difficulty, but just a bit more instructions and explanations of things at the beginning.

If I want the best teacher to aid me in completing a new game triumphantly then you are the number one go-to. This brings back fond memories of the 1st time I went through Central Yharnam. It was my 1st soulsborne and I spent days trying to make it through, and I was so sucked into the world I couldn't quit no matter how many times I died. Started my soulsborne journey.

After you learn how to play Soulsborne games, you can play them all. They're atmosphere and lore are unmatched, as well as how rewarding they feel. Dont give up, skeleton

When these games first came out I really enjoyed them but ended up putting them down because i didnt know what i was doing and they became overwhelmingly difficult. This is the single most useful video for the ultimate beginner. I got this game a few months back and it is my first souls game. It was too unforgiving and I lost hope and gave up. I came across your video and gave the game another try and now I’ve gotten through the cleric beast which is a great achievement for me considering how much of a beginner I am. Thank you so much!
This is the worse video for a beginners ngl first off the saw clever is not the best weapons for beginners the hunter axe is also why is he trying to parry regular enemies he also doesn’t explain that you need to use r1 after staggering an enemy to parry he just does it without explaining he doesn’t even mention the rally system till halfway to the end and doesn’t explain it if you are he doesn’t explain how the enemy types and how they attack he just goes in and starts fighting this is by far the worse video if you are a beginner this guy will make the game 100x harder for you lol I’ll give him a pass because this is 2 years old but if you are completely new to souls game and bloodborne this is not a good video for you

Beat Sekiro, and Elden Ring, time for Bloodborne haha. I always play every game on hard mode or the hardest mode also so that helps with these games for sure! I find games too easy on normal difficulty etc . But I have played games for 32+ years 😅😂

I didn't fall in love with Souls games until Elden Ring. Now, I'm hooked. I've been going back through older games; Sekiro, etc, and I decided to give Bloodborne another go. Purely because of your precise guidance through Elden ring I’m now playing and hooked on bloodborne. I tried it when I first got my ps5 but really didn’t take to it at all. I’ve changed the brightness to suit me rather than follow the guide on screen and it’s so much more viewable. I remember when this game came out i bought it on day 1. Didnt know "souls like" genre was a thing. The wolf killed me and the next day i went to Best Buy and traded it in. Got $40 for it. Elden Ring came out and i loved it!!! Now looking back at this video it makes me want to go back and give Bloodbourne a chance.

I never finished the DLC, I stopped after killing Maria to play Sekiro and decided to go back a week ago. I had to do a double take on the dates of these videos when I looked them up to help me out. Is Bloodborne in the air or something? I noticed other new Bloodborne videos being posted.
I bought bloodborne on psn because of the holiday sales. Maybe thats why there is a bit of resurgence of this game. I finished Sekiro lately, planning to play other FromSoftware play games while waiting for Elden Ring.
I think the game was just recently made free on PS Now for the PS5. Not sure though; I just recently started using PS Now. Didn't think a game streaming service was worth it until I saw what was listed.
it is free on ps plus, not on ps now. unfortuneately it is just the basic game, not the old hunter edition. and the full game with old hunter is on sale and cheaper than buying the dlc old hunter to the free ps plus basic edition of bloodborne. just fyi... i was thinking about getting it, but I can‘t stand the 30fps at the moment :-/

I’ve just beaten the DLC with your guide (kinda, didn’t have the runes and such, but I used your videos to help navigate, this is my first souls game and I was actually about to uninstall out of pure hatred for the unforgiving nature of this game, and then I found this, and it became 50x easier, you also helped me get Ludwig’s Holy Blade to +10 which is just ripping bosses apart with 3-4 charged heavy into slam connects, I’ve really enjoyed the game now that I understand how it works, I went from relying on friends to help with bosses to doing them by myself! I was getting shit on for 3 hours and I'm a ds3 +8 vet and both ds1 and ds2 vet as well multiple playthroughs, this guide aided me in breaking the habits from froms other games.

So I just got into Soulsborne games and started with Demon's Souls remake and watched your walkthrough. After two playthroughs, I moved onto DS remastered, watched your vid, and then after two playthroughs, moved onto the next. Then got to your Dark Souls 2 "walkthrough" and saw the drop in walkthroughiness and was totally bummed. Not sure this is worth playing without a remaster. I had no idea what I was doing though, this guide is pretty insane. Really difficult game, how would I know where to get a saw? Or the parrying? These games have lousy directions. Guess I'll try again.

Even though he says that he's never done a proper walkthrough for BB, Cowboy's second playthrough is comprehensive enough to be considered one. I think so anyway.
If you have Insight, I suggest using the Beckoning Bell to get people to help you. I joined a guy, as well as a third, and we killed Cleric Beast in under a minute.
The only thing that would make these walkthroughs better is if there was notes to download or print out so you don't have to watch while playing lol. Love these 100% walkthrough vids so much though! my favorite channel on RUclips!

Have patience. It's way different than the Souls games. I basically needed my friend to co-op to beat the game after about 1/4 in to it. I'm horrible at boss fights until I have homie start the fight with me and can backstrap bosses. Good luck

@@IchiGurou Sure! The three biggest issues I have with it is: 1. Dark atmosphere + bad eyesight = confused navigation. 2. The psuedo need to grind for healing items can be a chore. I say psuedo because I'm aware some need to grind more than others, if at all, and I'm one who hates running out of essential items. 3. The more offensive fighting approach as opposed to DS's more defensive fighting approach makes it a little too easy for me after reaching a point in the game; not hyper leveling, mind you. Orphan of Kos is a perfect example: he demands aggression which I'm all to happy to slap around and even risk tanking a hit because either I can slap for health back or scoot back while he's in a tizzy to inject some HP. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad game at all, but when I personally compare to the others (minus DS2) I have less fondness of it.
I have literally rage quit Bloodborne many times because of that executioner. I eventually got used to it and killed him without the visceral attack, as he killed me at the same time.
I just started playing this game for the first time ever on the PS5 because it's free right now and that executioner is such a pain in the ass. I mistakenly got the blunderbuss as well. Wish I got the pistol.

Love watching your play through of Bloodborne! Currently in NG+. Haven’t played the DLC yet. I think the boss that gave me the most trouble was the Martyr. That was some straight horse$&@! !!! 😂
Martyr? 🤔 and the DLC bosses are always harder in these games. So buckle up. Lol. Ludwig is hard and Laurence is brutal. Lady Maria isn’t bad if you know how to parry and the failures are easy. Mixed reviews on orphan of kos. I found him easy but that’s because I used a gunslinger build so counters and ranged fighting was easier.
Tried this game when it first came out. Got murked by the werewolf and uninstalled the game lmao. Just picked it back up after getting the platinum trophy on elden ring and man im loving this game so far. If they did a demons souls style remake itd be CRAZY

It's my first time playing a game from this genre and I wasn't sure if I should get Elden Ring, so I decided to buy this game instead to see if I'd like it, after three days of frustration I could get pass the first Brick troll, I was sad cuz I thought I had wasted my money on a game I wasn't gonna play. I started watching this guide and man, it has been a life safer. Thanks to you I'm done with Central Yharnam and everything seem a bit easier now. Now I can say I'm glad I'll be able to finish this game
Your walkthrough series managed to give me confidence enough to give the game another chance. I loved the theme, but the difficulty scared me off (Difficult to spend a long time on intense fights with fucked up hands). I watched part 1 and realized that the biggest difficulty curve is actually knowing where to go and when to go there, and combat can be managed with a good optimized build, and some extra leveling up. So now I'm at NG+, and the only thing missing for a Platinum is killing the queen the in Chalice (which I may try on NG+) So thank you. Super comprehensive and clear.
19:05 OK note to myself: Never play blind unless I want to fight though way too many enemies forever just to get destroyed for the crime of exploration.

@@Packmanfan224 go to the headstone at the bottom of the stairs. If you’re going down the stairs it’ll be on your left side then click x on it and it’ll ask you if you wanna go to where you started. I don’t remember the name it’s like 1sr floor or something
watching someone exceptionally good at this game is oddly satisfying.
Purely because of your precise guidance through Elden ring I’m now playing and hooked on bloodborne. I tried it when I first got my ps5 but really didn’t take to it at all. I’ve changed the brightness to suit me rather than follow the guide on screen and it’s so much more viewable. And with a little watch of your guides now and again I’m progressing much further than I thought I would a couple of years ago. Many thanks for the hours you put into these walk throughs. 🙏 ✌️

I remember when this game came out i bought it on day 1. Didnt know "souls like" genre was a thing. The wolf killed me and the next day i went to Best Buy and traded it in. Got $40 for it.
Elden Ring came out and i loved it!!! Now looking back at this video it makes me want to go back and give Bloodbourne a chance.

I never finished the DLC, I stopped after killing Maria to play Sekiro and decided to go back a week ago. I had to do a double take on the dates of these videos when I looked them up to help me out. Is Bloodborne in the air or something? I noticed other new Bloodborne videos being posted.
I bought bloodborne on psn because of the holiday sales. Maybe thats why there is a bit of resurgence of this game. I finished Sekiro lately, planning to play other FromSoftware play games while waiting for Elden Ring.

I think the game was just recently made free on PS Now for the PS5. Not sure though; I just recently started using PS Now. Didn't think a game streaming service was worth it until I saw what was listed.
it is free on ps plus, not on ps now. unfortuneately it is just the basic game, not the old hunter edition. and the full game with old hunter is on sale and cheaper than buying the dlc old hunter to the free ps plus basic edition of bloodborne. just fyi... i was thinking about getting it, but I can‘t stand the 30fps at the moment :-/

I’ve just beaten the DLC with your guide (kinda, didn’t have the runes and such, but I used your videos to help navigate, this is my first souls game and I was actually about to uninstall out of pure hatred for the unforgiving nature of this game, and then I found this, and it became 50x easier, you also helped me get Ludwig’s Holy Blade to +10 which is just ripping bosses apart with 3-4 charged heavy into slam connects, I’ve really enjoyed the game now that I understand how it works, I went from relying on friends to help with bosses to doing them by myself! I was getting shit on for 3 hours and I'm a ds3 +8 vet and both ds1 and ds2 vet as well multiple playthroughs, this guide aided me in breaking the habits from froms other games.

So I just got into Soulsborne games and started with Demon's Souls remake and watched your walkthrough. After two playthroughs, I moved onto DS remastered, watched your vid, and then after two playthroughs, moved onto the next. Then got to your Dark Souls 2 "walkthrough" and saw the drop in walkthroughiness and was totally bummed. Not sure this is worth playing without a remaster. I had no idea what I was doing though, this guide is pretty insane. Really difficult game, how would I know where to get a saw? Or the parrying? These games have lousy directions. Guess I'll try again.

If you have Insight, I suggest using the Beckoning Bell to get people to help you. I joined a guy, as well as a third, and we killed Cleric Beast in under a minute.

coming back to this after i literally just platinumed this game, what a damn journey. id never be able to get around this cramped and confusing world without your help, and frankly idk how ppl were beating this game on their own. literally im9possible to do anything without a walkthrough for this for me, the landscapes are the too confusing and everything looks the same in a lot of areas so it ends up tripping me out and confusing me. luckily, i had you. thank you so much for the help!!!

Have patience. It's way different than the Souls games. I basically needed my friend to co-op to beat the game after about 1/4 in to it. I'm horrible at boss fights until I have homie start the fight with me and can backstrap bosses. Good luck

@@IchiGurou Sure! The three biggest issues I have with it is: 1. Dark atmosphere + bad eyesight = confused navigation.
2. The psuedo need to grind for healing items can be a chore. I say psuedo because I'm aware some need to grind more than others, if at all, and I'm one who hates running out of essential items.
3. The more offensive fighting approach as opposed to DS's more defensive fighting approach makes it a little too easy for me after reaching a point in the game; not hyper leveling, mind you. Orphan of Kos is a perfect example: he demands aggression which I'm all to happy to slap around and even risk tanking a hit because either I can slap for health back or scoot back while he's in a tizzy to inject some HP.
Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad game at all, but when I personally compare to the others (minus DS2) I have less fondness of it.
2 months, 2 damn months in this part and was yesterday thet I doscoverd that if it has a lamp, you can interact with it.
I have literally rage quit Bloodborne many times because of that executioner. I eventually got used to it and killed him without the visceral attack, as he killed me at the same time.
I just started playing this game for the first time ever on the PS5 because it's free right now and that executioner is such a pain in the ass. I mistakenly got the blunderbuss as well. Wish I got the pistol.

Love watching your play through of Bloodborne! Currently in NG+. Haven’t played the DLC yet. I think the boss that gave me the most trouble was the Martyr. That was some straight horse$&@! !!! 😂
Martyr? 🤔 and the DLC bosses are always harder in these games. So buckle up. Lol. Ludwig is hard and Laurence is brutal. Lady Maria isn’t bad if you know how to parry and the failures are easy. Mixed reviews on orphan of kos. I found him easy but that’s because I used a gunslinger build so counters and ranged fighting was easier.
Tried this game when it first came out. Got murked by the werewolf and uninstalled the game lmao. Just picked it back up after getting the platinum trophy on elden ring and man im loving this game so far. If they did a demons souls style remake itd be CRAZY

Omfg, I started my playthrough last year, put it down in December, picked it up a month ago again and finally finished it. Decided to look at a walk-through now that I'd finished my blind playthrough, and I specifically looked up your name for the walkthrough to find that you posted this 2 months ago. Freaking amazing timing! I've watched your dark souls 1 and 3 walkthroughs, so I'm excited for this one!
It's my first time playing a game from this genre and I wasn't sure if I should get Elden Ring, so I decided to buy this game instead to see if I'd like it, after three days of frustration I could get pass the first Brick troll, I was sad cuz I thought I had wasted my money on a game I wasn't gonna play. I started watching this guide and man, it has been a life safer. Thanks to you I'm done with Central Yharnam and everything seem a bit easier now. Now I can say I'm glad I'll be able to finish this game
Your walkthrough series managed to give me confidence enough to give the game another chance. I loved the theme, but the difficulty scared me off (Difficult to spend a long time on intense fights with fucked up hands). I watched part 1 and realized that the biggest difficulty curve is actually knowing where to go and when to go there, and combat can be managed with a good optimized build, and some extra leveling up.
So now I'm at NG+, and the only thing missing for a Platinum is killing the queen the in Chalice (which I may try on NG+)
