This comment reminds me of the Drake Crown interview 😂 He said something like how "best albums" aren't really best albums but best moments in time for the listener ❤ And "I guess we can't ignore the fact that it's...True." 🤷🏽♀️😂
This is one of those songs where when you hear it , it is an automatic rap along. The flow is so smooth ! I even caught kai rapping along its just a great track💎💎💎
At 8:01 Drake is talking about one of his friends killing someone for him and he doesn’t have to tell them. “ you gone make someone around me catch a bodie like that” and drakes going to pay for the bail and lawyers “ and drizzy got the money so drizzy gone pay it”
You missed some things: - one of us goes in & we all go through it (Wayne incarceration) - the real is on the rise, f them other guys ( forget other labels/ young money is rising) - I even gave em a chance to decide now it’s something they know (other labels passed on him but now his success is undeniable)
My f'n song 😭 My Junior yr. of High School! Getting up in the morning getting ready for school in the living room & the stereo on the radio! Everyone in my house was waking up and we all got hyped listening to this song playing on the radio ♥ Hell even one my way to a birthday dinner this song was blasting ♥♥
Your dad is the cutest!!! Honestly not sure his age but I’m 50 and he reminds me so much of myself in the way he reacts. The first one I watched was you guys reviewing Stan. You could tell that really touched him and it touched me seeing him somewhat emotional. Great channel, new subscriber and I’m now binge watching all the videos. Keep ‘em coming ❤️
My favorite artist & album...play it all the time...#1 for me and that's saying a lot...grew up in the 90s (Tupac/Biggie era) turned me into a lifelong rap/hip hop fan...I won't fool myself & say he is the best lyrically or otherwise etc...but he is my favorite & go to while I'm on a plane, driving, or otherwise...Sincere thanks again for the entertainment!
I love the dynamic between you both. Music is absolutely my love language. Id love to hear your review on Snarky Puppy & Lalah Hathaway's song " Something". Lalah is the daughter of the late great singer Donny Hathaway. (This Christmas) I just loved your views on Jill scott and Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill . Their voices are treasured instruments. Lalah IS ON ANOTHER PLATEAU.
7:54 he meant if one of his boys goes in TO PRISON for killing someone for him, then they all suffer. Pay close attention to the lines before and after.
Just for your own context in understanding a line he says. “If one of us goes in then we all go through it” he’s talking about if one of his ppl go to jail. Then he’s referring to paying the bail money after that line.
You guys should react to super early Drake “Closer to my dreams” I think this is a cool track to go over you can really hear how much he’s progressed since then
I can't explain my unGodly love for Drake but when I first started following U guys, I thought they must be Draked out over there in Canada because they just will not review Drake 😂 So I'm glad you guys are reviewing him more ❤ Also, as a woman I'd like to just say, it's not his looks that get my attention like most, I personally like my men "black and ugly as ever however," 😉 I think my love for Drake is because I'm just a woman going to my corporate American Job so I can't really relate to some of the hardcore stuff 😂 Drake is relatable to women because of his love songs. In fact, he can do a love songs greatest hits right now 😂 I think maybe that's why we dig J.Cole too 😊
Singing and rhyming been going forever.. James Brown, before him Cab Calloway.. far as HipHop in the 80s it was rapping and singing.. I don't know why nobody a knowledge that.. Slick Rick was singing in his first solo album. If you search you she'll find. Big Daddy Kane start sing in his albums in the early 90s, etc
Great reaction and love your channel. I would love for you to check out Drake-the motto (video) so then you can transition to the Bay Area rap scene. The izzy and izzles orginates in the bay back to mid 90's. Rappers ball by E-40 & Too $hort are the first to use izzle and izzy on a track in 96 on rappers ball. I would suggest listening to Too $hort- The Ghetto, Gettin It; E-40- 1 luv, rappers ball, Nah Nah; Mac Dre- Rainin Game and Since 84.
Ja Rule would disagree with Kanye and Drake starting the rap and singing vibe. He didn’t sound as good as them but he still was the first. You should react to some Ja rule
@@flameemperor. name one of DMX hit songs that have him singing with melody . I’m not talking album tracks . If that’s the case there’s artist before that we’re singing rapping as well ….
Hey guys, I really enjoy your content and would like to make a request... I think you guys should do a reaction to Ledisi's tiny desk performance. She's an incredible singer, and in my opinion her style is much different than what you guys have reacted to in the past.
Agreed that Kanye's '808's and Heartbreaks' had a major impact on the way artists started blending singing, rapping and more emotional, introspective themes. I'd push back on saying he/Drake revolutionized the style. Unfortunate timing with Krayzie Bone in the hospital (my profile pic...a signed portrait I drew years ago), but I'd highly recommend listening to 'It's All Real' off of 'Art Of War' and going from there. IMO, I'd consider him the original artist who really revolutionized rapping, singing, melodies, emotional/introspective themes, etc.. Love the channel and not meaning to sound argumentative. Just wanted to give credit where I think it's due to one of the absolute GOATs!
@@mzzthang3912 it just took too long to get going. It's just over 3 mins long and it was 2 mins in before it really picked up. It's not terrible, just boring imo

@breeze-vibes9699 It's good but nowhere as good as Drake's older stuff, The songs feel soul less and more like talking
Drake's best album in my opinion. So many memories connected to this album.

Yes it is
One of my favourite albums. Would love to see you go through the entire album!
I have a super distinct memory of the titular song "Take Care" being played on every radio station in America around 2011 or 2012
They definitely should..this album is a classic
Underground kings is my favorite track on this album
100% he kills that track 🔥
One of my fav Drake songs, along with 5AM in Toronto
YES the most underrated song he had
On god its the anthem
This
I forgot how good this song is.
Til this day that melodic ending to headlines is still my favorite part of any song
Thank me now also has a nice melodic ending
I recently started watching you guys and I love your channel and what you are doing. Dad is awesome
Appreciate that! Lots more good stuff coming. - Dad
In my opinion, still Drake's greatest track.
Everything special about Drake's style and artistry is perfectly showcased on this track.
This is nowhere near Drake’s greatest song lol
@@juggsandmagsss9397definitely up there

Definitely need some more Drake content on the channel especially since your dad is vibing hard to it lol
Take Care was so good! I love the outro of the song, glad you did not skip it!
I listened to this album just early in the morning and now you guys uploaded this video, what a coincidence haha

The ending of headlines, makes me nostalgic as hell. 2011 was really a good year and time.
Bone Thugs N Harmony just entered the chat whenever it comes to rap singing.
man that’s facts
I'm so glad ya dad liked this song. I hope as time goes on and u show him more drake he might see why so many love drake
The hand up and standing sideways rapping drake was different lol. How i miss that era of music.

Music was so good in that era just everything was a banger compared to today alot of good memories from the times some of the best
This song brings back a flood of memories from summer 2011 right before I went into high school
This is one of my favorites. It's the basis of my trilogy novel, but only in a way that I've been gone too long from the literary world. I love it.
Your dad is so coolest dad ever
Your dad would like the Album nothing was the same or More Life from Drake. He had lyrics and heart in those

I think the earliest rappers I heard “sing their flow” were the members of Bone Thugs and Harmony. They took the game by storm with this in the 90s.
Play some Nipsey Hussle - “The Marathon” or “The Leak”
