*Fun fact:* Good day was used in the sims! After the burst of popularity the song after being played live in the late late show, they recorded a special version of the song sung in the simlish language for EA to be used in the boom boxes in 'The Sims 2: Apartment Life'
i dont know what yall thinking about i think it feels like the few minutes before a middle school band class when everyone is beating on all the percussion stuff
I am the old lady that frightened Andrew at the Great Scott gig in 2011. Let me explain. I grew up in very narrow circumstances. I had a path and it was Route 40/Route 22. No matter what I did with my life, I would be *there*. So I was working as a caterer for the Lorde Mayor and his "busyness" during my last year of undergrad, driving his red Ford pickup around town and trying desperately not to TOUCH MY FACE during service, which is way harder than you think it is. I'm driving to my corporate catering job and I puckishly switch his radio to EQX (and now you know I'm in New England). I hear "Good Day" and... ...I don't remember much after that. See, I was going to school for music. And I am weak to gimmicks like mixed meter. "Good Day" has that in spades. Debatable, but I count it as 3, then 2x4, then 2. Please don't judge me. I'm teaching duple and triple these days. Anyway. I heard "Good Day" and was so distracted/enchanted by the mixed meter, I almost ran my boss' Ford into a ditch on the way to the gig. To be fair, the venue we were serving had a parking lot that could rival Dagobah. Seven years later, I saw Andrew at the Great Scott (RIP) gig in August 2011. It was just before Irene. I told him I almost crashed my boss' car when I heard his song. He was like; "That's cool, yeah...get security." I understand. I just want to know. WHAT IS THE METER FOR "GOOD DAY."
you know, of all the tally hall music videos to make someone experience fear, greener's not the one i'd see coming, however i can't blame you for your fear all the same.
I'm back again, I'll be uploading the entire 2005 version of this album today and some more things in the next coming weeks.

I like how the silly phrases at the end are easily heard in this version
For some reason, this song makes me feel like striding confidently down a sunny street, or maybe riding a bike through Ft. Walton Beach, Florida
I like this analogy! I'm from Jacksonville, so I'm familiar with that glorious Florida bike ride feeling :)

I love how in the end you can hear the opening to greener.

Question, why is this the only song on the album that’s more closer to the 2008 Marvins version?
