The reason you have to rename it to ''eurotrucks2'' is because Roblox doesn't support Game filter but Euro truck simulator 2 does, so you rename it to trick NVIDIA into thinking your playing Euro truck simulator 2.

For those of you who are getting the "a supported game is required to use this feature" message when you try to press alt f3, if you're using geforce experience, try to install the newest driver or reinstall your driver if you already have the newest driver.

FOR HELP:
i don't know what your having trouble with but try these (i spent 2 hours trying to figure this out) :
1. if you don't have updated drivers, update them
2. name both the roblox player, AND the roblox beta to the name eurotrucks2
3. try to restart your pc
4. make sure you watched the video fully :)

tried the previous steps, try naming the file (both of the shortcut and the robloxplayerbeta) to EldenRing. Elden ring also supports Ansel shaders

if you get rid of roblox folder from both %appdata% and %localappdata% folders you can wipe the data you have about it (it wont remove any bad stuff)
and then you can reinstall and that might help

@@maayzieemake sure to put ".exe" at the end of eurotrucks2. So it will say "eurotrucks2.exe"

If you're wondering why it does not work it is because roblox is now a 64 bit client. In addition with the Hyperion anticheat it will not allow you to modify the roblox application in any way. So shaders will not work for now.
Yes it does, only if you have Nvidia you can use shaders

yo theres some stuff happening with shaders, they worked perfectly fine but today they stopped working and instead of shaders menu opens "image sharpening filter" or smth like that, also hotkeys are switching constantly between alt f2 and alt f3. do you know how to fix this. i tried to reinstall roblox but it still doesnt work

Im getting so frustrated right now. It worked for some time and now its saying the supported game thing. I updated my drivers, reinstalled roblox, restarted my computer, removed everything and tried to do the whole process again it still doesn't work.

@@hk._. hey someone liked my comment and i found a way to fix it: just delete everything in the temp folder, and restart roblox. dont delete the folder itself but only the content inside the folder also dont worry because that folder is only cache

I can't paste or move the shaders down into the qUINT folder, will the Ansel flags for enabled applications still be on if I restart my computer?
5:40 that might be because Reshade is supported for euro truck simulator.

@@Skat3rnewb It doesn't officially 'support' roblox. That's just NVIDIA now, alongside a bypass. It thinks it is euro truck simulator 2, but it's actually roblox. Roshade was able to implement reshade cause of Zeal.
If you renamed it to euro truck simulator 2, you probably can't open the game filter, I found out renaming it to roblox foesnt

Dude NVIDIA cards only, literally says NVIDIA cooperation, plus it uses Ansel or whatever it is (NVIDIA logo) that should've been easy to find out..
its not about the cards capabilities its about it being nvidia or not

some of the files don't work, when I click on one of the settings it says the file doesn't exist? only some shaders will work while others don't

what do i do if its telling me roblox does not have like an app associated with it to launch this happened after i renamed it to eurotrucks2
Idk why but my shaders arent working. Everytime i press alt f3 it says the same thing again and again and ive tried all methods. When i press the eurotrucks2 folder it brings me to roblox but then transfers me to the actual roblox folder im not sure if thats the problem but please tell me in the replies how to fix this

edit: I found a fix, don't rename it through properties, instead click the rename button after right clicking on roblox, that way it will work. Hope this helps!

I followed all instructions, and it still doesn't work (I have Nvidia rtx), I don't think it recognized the shaders as commands or what not because they were all white files, not one with the things that show it's a command

Found a solution like a day ago rename the folder eurotrucks2.exe
So i think for this problem you can just write at the end of eurotrucks2 you write .Beta.exe and i think that should work

if you want to know what you're graphics card is, just search in you're windows app browser thingy then type device manager after that click the arrow for display adapters, if it says intel then no and gtx maybe also which one is the best?
Intel makes CPUs not GPUs, this guy is insane/stupid and doesnt know anything about hardware.

I got roshade in april 2023 and when it stopped working i was rlly sad and tried to find every single way to fix it and all was a failure even the nvidia method didnt worked bc i was using a gt 1030 and today my dad got me a gtx 1050 and when it actually worked i was so happy
i was even more happy when it worked for other games such as subnautica
worked well only issue is nvidia keeps having issues parsing some shaders so a good 80% of them dont work

I think I might of found a fix for people who did it and it does not work, firstly when you want to launch it like he says to where you type in roblox in the search bar, dont click the first one click the one right below it with the same name (not roblox studio) then do the same thing you did before (file location, then file location again) and rename the same one like in the video (RobloxPlayerBeta) and launch it there. This worked for me and now my game looks SO MUCH BETTER! I hope this works but if not I dont know what to tell you.
