I'm from England but I did briefly stop in Placerville on the way both to and from South lake Tahoe back to San Francisco via Sacramento way back in the year 2000 - it's a very different side of California in a good way and a very beautiful and quiet peaceful scenic rural part of California - away from all the hustle and bustle of Sacramento, San Francisco and Los Angeles
California is very diverse, but most people only pay attention to the portraying of mainstream California, I'm glad you had the experience of TRAVELING THE WORLD!!!!!

your best bet is to call a broker at a company like Farmers and ask about zones and premium.

Used to like the area but wonder about hospitals, doctors, schools, library’s, bookstores, movie theaters, sports all the things that peak interests.
