An underrated movie. The message is so amazing. The reconciliation between people, Judah-Mesalla, Mesalla-himself, Judah-Mesalla-family-community. The singer is also good.

Put off seeing this movie because of the bad reviews, but I finally decided to try it out and I'm so glad I did. Amazing acting, wonderful message and just a really good movie. I'm really sad it got so many bad reviews. Also I'm obsessed with this song!!!! It's so good!!!

Love this movie! Love this song!! Seen this movie in first version when I was a child!!❤
Honestly I didn't expect to love this movie so much. Way better than the other version (I love it but I was still disturbed by the ending with the death of Messala). Good story telling and much more coherent in two points:
-Judah and Messala forgave each others.
-Judah didn't befriend and save the Roman like in the old version which was a dumb decision according to me in the 1956 version. You can forgive a complete stranger who treats you like shit and you can't mend up with your brother...

I've always loved Andra Day! She's an amazing woman with true musical and vocal talent and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing Ben Hur in theaters. I can't wait to see this new iteration of Lew Wallace's classic Biblical Historical epic tale of the Christ. I enjoyed watching the 1959 Charleton Heston classic each Easter as a child with my parents. Even today we still watch it. This new movie certainly looks like it's going to be a good contemporary adaption with lots of action and moments of deep liturgy.
The moral of the story is the best, checked this song after watching the movie
