It is annoying when you have self entitled neighbors that have 4 cars that will fit in their own driveway and refuse to use it and then park in front of your home. Also these are the same type of people who park in front of your mail box and the cluster mailboxes so the neighbors do not get their mail.😠

Here’s some reasonable examples as to why people wish to have space in front if their home available: -If a firetruck needs to arrive at the neighboring home thats more time to put out a fire because they’ll have to work from a farther distance over your car with the hose at times to reach the home. And more distance means less concentrated area for the for the water to reach, meaning it takes slightly more time for a fire to be put out. In emergency situations like that where seconds count that is a valid concern to have. -/Then/ you have to worry about maintenance and repair response vehicles. If they dont have ample space to park their equipment vehicles they’re forced to use your drive way or work around other neighboring cars/block traffic, which runs the risk of scratching yours or other neighboring cars. -/Then/ you run the risk of neighboring guests mistaking your home for other’s because theyll come knocking at your door because they recognized other cars thinking that it’s you. -Also simply wanting that space to not be regularly blocked is a valid concern as well. Having a car in front of your home can block the view of the home. And some homeowners that admire the progress made at tending to their lawns or setting decor or holiday arrangements then your car blocks the view keeping other passersby from enjoying the view and appreciating. -There’s also the matter of having ample space to have on the street for trash cans, recycling bins, and compost receptacles (which for most garbage routes requires 5 feet apart for each for the garbage truck to use the grabber without scratching cars. And if a car blocks the front homeowners may be forced to block their own driveway) -Or simply the homeowner wishes to enjoy the open view of their own home as well. Plenty of people spend time researching homes to ensure they purchase a residence with ample parking for themselves as well as guests to keep home appearances looking less ghetto. So for you to block the front because you didn’t do enough research into purchasing a home that has ample and comfortable parking for their family unit’s lifestyle is a rude problem to put on someone else. Perhaps people should consider spending more money on a larger home that suits their car collection needs rather than accumulating more vehicles. So I mean it’s not really whiny if there’s a bunch of valid gripes to have. And for many reasons it’s valid. If it really is whiny perhaps you should provide arguments as to why it’s unreasonable to feel uncomfortable for others to have that parking arrangement instead of resorting to ad hominem. Cause otherwise, you’d run the risk of making the case for why people find that attitude inconsiderate.
I live in a “pseudo” cul-de-sac, so my yard is kind of a half circle. My neighbor has 5 vehicles and they constantly park their company truck in front of my house. What’s worst is that they don’t use their entire driveway, they only park 3 of the 5 vehicles on the driveway. It’s a nuisance, but unfortunately, I have to deal with it. I hate inconsiderate people.

Respect to a very small extent, What your feeling is more of what's the word.... Entitlement. Respect is that i don't drive up the curb onto your yard, or respect is that I don't play loud music at early or late hours. Its a public street unless a sign posted by the city says no parking. I hope your car breaks down in front of someone's house and they come out and make a scene about how long your car is going to parked legally on a public street. I would also be fine if you had a mechanical emergency nothing serious but it forces you to park it in front of someone's house with this same mentality. FYI most public streets don't allow parking during certain hours of the night and morning among many other reasons.
Neighbors have parked their vehicle in front of my house for 2 weeks straight (the vehicle hasn’t moved once). The vehicle has a logo for a landscaping, which is against the bylaws that are set forth by the HOA. Also, it’s illegal to have a vehicle parked on a public street for 72 hours. Our HOA prohibits the parking of vehicles with signage from parking in driveways, however owners are permitted to park the vehicle in their garages.

My neighbor does it to be rude. She takes turns parking in front of my house and my other two neighbor houses. They are older people too. And then walks 4 houses down when no one is parked in front of her house. I know it’s public but I like to be able to see my own car because I had my car broken into when I had to park up the street. I’m in the car buisness and I’m either going to leave a beat up beater in front of her house. Or get my buddy who is a tow truck driver to come at 3am and tow her car and move it blocks away lol
These idiots that park in front of other people's homes probably never heard of curb appeal. We mow our yards and trim our hedges to make our homes look good from the street then some dumb neighbor parks his truck in front of your house and blocks the veiw of your house from the street.
It's not illegal but it is definitely rude and shows a lack of courtesy for your neighbor. Especially if it's in a suburban neighborhood and their own driveway is open.
People in my town park in the middle of the street making people drive partially in the ditch. Irritating, people just have no manors or respect these days.
I grew up in a house that was directly across the street from an elementary school. I didn't care if they parked in front of the house as long as they didn't block the driveway. The only big problem is that some parents were stopping in the street to drop off or pick up their kids.

Some counties have laws where there is a maximum amount of hours a vehicle can be left in the same spot on the street. So once you find out how long that is for your county or city, then that would be the best way to pursue it.

I've seen idiots park blocking my neighbor driveway and he comes out yelling at the person and calls the police. You wouldn't believe people arrogance sometime. I understand why my neighbor gets upset and put a no parking sign in front of his driveway.

I had a person that returns to my neighbor house that live 4 houses down from mines, parking there car in front of my house for about 2 weeks straight after I took one of my vehicles that I use park in that spot to the shop. My driveway stay full. I went down there to talk to the homeowner about it and they moved it. Keep in mind they only have 1 car in their driveway and nothing in front of their house. With all the stuff going on today, you don’t want someone parking in front of your house and not park in front of the house they are at because someone could be looking for the person that owns the car and could easily mistaken the owner of that car is living in your home. Think about that people. I have zero tolerance for bullsh*t. So continue thinking something like this is not a problem and then become way bigger than you can imagine. I still don’t get why the person still parking a few houses down from where they actually are.

It's legal. The solution is parking permits. Doesn't limit people parking in front of your place all the time but limits the amount of cars they own and drastically reducing the chances.

What the issue is common courtesy. If a house has 3 or 4 cars usually 2 in the driveway and the other in the street in front of the house. What the problem is is that neighbors will get 6 to eight cars and instead of shuffling they will occupy your spot in front of your house. This is also extremely frustrating when they park on the side opposite of your driveway entrance

On trash pickup days, they will move the trash cans out of the way of their parking spot into the driveway, and she will periodically miss trash pickups because of this. They will also vandalize cars that park in 'their spot'. Public road, my a$$. This is a major issue and people need to have some consideration to others boundaries.

My former neighbor parked his Exxon Valdez oil dripper truck in front of my house so the street in front of his house remained clean while mine looked like an oil tanker leaked there. There were many overhanging branches from my oak trees so I installed several bird feeders. It became so popular that a flock of pigeons would roost in my trees at night. One morning I came out and the truck was completely encased in white it had so much bird sh!t on it. The look on the neighbor's face was priceless and I thoroughly enjoyed watching him scrub it all off before he could leave for work. That ended the parking in front of my house. In my current home, they had college age kids for whatever reason park in front of my house usually in the wee hours of the morning, walk across my yard, wake the dogs up and get them barking which got me out of bed. Had enough of that. The next time I moved both my cars and pinned them in for a day. They got the message. Just sayin' there are ways to deal with idiots.

I don’t mind it BUT people are so rude that they block your mailbox. Also i think its only right to NOT park directly in front of the house like you’re at that residence; leave room for if that person has someone coming over to visit. Also in my opinion, IF you have a driveway BUT you also have so many vehicles that more then 2 cars have to be parked on the road daily, then you need to get rid of some or move somewhere else to accommodate your needs.

Cops always park in front of next door house not there own, they want there neighbor to catch the drive bullets but not them. So how do you tell a cop car? I live on the middle of the block on my street and no cars hardly ever park in front of my house. I usually put my trash bins out on the curb in the afternoon. A couple of times a guy who lives at the very end of the street decided he wants to start parking his SUV in front of my house the day before trash day because there are so many cars parked on the street in front of his house and across the street that he doesn't have space to put out his trash bins unless he blocks his own driveway. So he thought it would be OK for me to have to block my own driveway with my trash bins because he basically parked right up to my driveway on the curb. So I started putting my trash bins out the morning before pick up day and spread them out about 8 feet apart so he couldn't park there anymore. I guess he got the message and doesn't try to park there anymore.
It’s so annoying I have someone on my street who does it and I use the sidewalk all the time even when I use a driveway to look both ways it’s very hard to and I almost got hit by a car once doing it
I live on a corner and have had the neighbors whose house faces the street the front of mine does, repeatedly park entirely blocking m,y driveway. I finally called the cops to get them to move and they do it less often now, but still occasionally for 30-45 minutes typically which can keep me from leaving and pulling in when coming back from the store. But ppl parking along the curb, besides being uncomfortable going in your yard due to crime here when ppl are stopped or parked there, it also makes it a royal pain to mow the flipping grass along the street curb, since their car is in the way and you can't cut it as you usually would and have to worry about hitting their flipping vehicle. Being on the curb, one side of my property has the power lines, which the city needs access to when they are working on the poles and lines. Yet now the neighbor behind me has got a flatbed tow truck and started leaving it parked without moving for several days against that curb. His cab is against the curb in front of his property, but the long bed part blocks the telephone pole and is in front of my property. What if I wanted to add another driveway, I'm blocked out from doing it and like I said picking up trash and trimming the grass along the curb is a major pain when inconsiderate jerks park in front of your yard that you have to maintain. Meanwhile these same people often will have ZERO vehicles parked in front of their own property, so they have no reason to park in front of others, other than being inconsiderate and not wanting the same problems they are creating for you, in their own area.
Oh yeah forgot to mention, I was born here, am near 55, never had this problem until the last 15 years and both these neighbors, like the whole area now, are non-English speaking border crossing new arrivals.
I have a question what if your neighbor has family living in a pull behind camper living directly front of your house ? Happened to me and I didn’t know what to do. They had meth heads in and out of their camper and even had the audacity to ask me to move my car when I wanted to park in front of my own house 😅
It's annoying if they are their too long or they have their own driveway but rather park in front of your house for 24 hours. And their driveway is empty with no cars in their own driveway or garage. I have neighbors like this, believe it or not! I hate the ones that park near mailbox, mailman will skip delivering mail to your mailbox if they cannot get to it because somebody blocked the mailbox! Also, if people park too long; you don't know if they are scoping people's property in the subdivision and watching everybody's schedule to see when they are home or not home for a later home invasion. It should be illegal to park in front of anybody's house more than an hour, not 24 hours. 24 hours is too long for people to think of a crime to commit !😕 😒 Give time for thieves to watch everybody's schedule and scope out property in the area.

A lot of homes have 3 or more drivers living in them and Unused garages full of Junk, So more street parking is needed. I Had this very problem years ago in west Houston, I hade a large curb area in front of my home that the tenant next to me Misused daily. There were 5 driving adults living in a small rental house. Some Home owners want to maintain their homes appearance and Not look like a used car lot. I talked to the people about it ,But was told to Buzz off. The cops said they would Not help. One day, while I was out of town ,Some one driving/racing down our street sideswiped , hit all 3 of their cars parked in front of my home and did not stop. It Did a lot of damage, The renter cleaned out his garage that weekend. Karma ?

I live on a corner, both the house beside me and behind me in recent years has 20 latinos to each house with a dozen cars in each of their yards. The ones beside me have completely blocked my driveway numerous times so I can't get in or out, they currently have a large loose aggressive dog living in their driveway that comes out at night or when people are working in their yard or drive. The people behind me got a giant flatbed tow truck, they've started parking it and lining up broke down vehicles along the curb next to my back yard. They and the other neighbors both have driven vehicles through my fence parking too many in their yard. I have a injured back and now can't easily mow to the curb as well as have to worry about their flat bed tow truck corner poking me in the back or head. It's one thing if someone briefly stops due to car trouble or visiting someone for an hour or so once in a while, but lining vehicles along other peoples property that never move for weeks, as well as keeping your giant tow truck that you only drive off briefly every few day, when their property is as big if not larger than mine and both these neighbors have 2 driveways each, where I have only one. And now if I want to add a 2nd driveway how am I going to do that with a giant tow truck parked there as well as rows of non-moving vehicles. It might not be illegal, but it certainly should be as it's very inconsiderate toward the person that has to maintain that property and pays thousands a year for it. This guys tow truck is leaking oil all over the road, he damages the curb and besides making it hard to mow, there is more trash left on the strip and I can't get the stuff under the vehicle, it's also more places for their roaming dogs to hang as well. And they normally have NO vehicles parked along the curb around their house, they definitely have room to park their tow truck and busted cars around their own place or could make room to put them in one of their driveways. As well as there is no house just land where a store used to be at the curb across the street, they could park where nobody lives, instead of jammed up against me. I've had gang vandalism along that side ms 13 numerous times for years, I've had my house broke in a couple times, I've been assaulted and robbed at gunpoint. I get tired of having to be in the mindset of blowing peoples brains out every time I mow the grass or go in my f ing yard because people wont get the f out of my general area and want to be basically forcing themselves into my life rather than keeping in their own yard and area. I'm sick of these people, I don't care what you do as long as you leave me and my area alone. Drunks and whatnot have ran into the telephone poles along that side several times over the years, I can't wait for something like that to happen to this mf ers truck and cars, as well as car break ins, maybe he'll be getting in the vehicle when someone smashes into it. They are already blocking the pole for the city workers so maybe it'll get towed one day or I'll have to see about getting numerous driveways installed so I can call the cops on them blocking them. It makes me want to end the whole lot of them, where all they'd have to do is keep their sh it in and around their own f uking house and yard. Any vehicle that doesn't live there or invited should have to leave within 24 hours so if they broke down they could get a tow truck, but not making the curb along someone else's home your spot to leave vehicles. It can cause like I said interference in you maintaining around your house, it can cause mail delivery to skip the delivery, trash pickup to skip, interfere with work you or the city wants done and you have no way to move the crap since it's not your vehicles just your residence. It's stupid to allow this and of course leads to constant issues. I have to worry about non-english babbling hordes hanging out in the yard I'm expected to maintain by the city by allowing the jack as es to use it as their parking garage and shop work area.

I HAD guy park his motor home in front of my house and it was so close to my mail box the post office could not deliver my mail and every other day he would move it at night a few inches back and forth to keep from getting a ticket so for a full year i had a forty foot motor home right at the edge of my drive way blocking my mail box and he did not even live on my block
You Could have had it Towed, it's an RV or Mobile home, they have to Go Find a Space and Pay for that Space to Park their home!!! You should Read up on Mobile Home Parking Laws!!!

2023 checking in. I have a contractor that drives on my yard to back into the work property and I just learned I can park my car in front of the property and no one can do anything about it.
In my area it's legal because we have no drive ways barely and we have public parking. It sucks cuz we have to see who parks in front of our house the following afternoon. It could be a shady work van or truck.

It depends on whether you want the front of your home looking like a used car sales lot. It is no different then living next to a hoarder. That is one good reason for HOAs. There are people who are not as concerned as others on what their yards or homes look like, every neighborhood has these type of people.

Some neighbors are so entitled. Used to live next to people who's adult sons would park in front of our house, not a problem really but they would also let their large dog run all over our yard which is very entitle of them to assume we want their dog in our yard and potentially crapping or leaving puddles of piss on it. I was also riding my bike once and one of my neighbors Labradors started chasing me and it would always do that but this time it nipped at my ankle, so once the dog left I turned around and told the owner to get control of damn dog and he tells me that I'm riding my bike too fast and need to slow down and that's why I deserve to be harassed by his dog on a public road every time I pass by there, so I told him next time the dog chases me, I'm pepper spraying it. I don't care if it's the dogs prey drive or drive to chase moving objects, that's the owners problem to deal with not other people's. Tie your damn dog up or don't cry when it gets maced. I also had a neighbor yell at me for hanging out on the street with my friends because her annoying chihuahua wouldn't stop barking at us through the window, so I asked her "do you own the street? No. So teach your yappy dog to shut up or leave my friend and I alone"

Here’s some reasonable examples as to why people wish to have space in front if their home available:
-If a firetruck needs to arrive at the neighboring home thats more time to put out a fire because they’ll have to work from a farther distance over your car with the hose at times to reach the home. And more distance means less concentrated area for the for the water to reach, meaning it takes slightly more time for a fire to be put out. In emergency situations like that where seconds count that is a valid concern to have.
-/Then/ you have to worry about maintenance and repair response vehicles. If they dont have ample space to park their equipment vehicles they’re forced to use your drive way or work around other neighboring cars/block traffic, which runs the risk of scratching yours or other neighboring cars.
-/Then/ you run the risk of neighboring guests mistaking your home for other’s because theyll come knocking at your door because they recognized other cars thinking that it’s you.
-Also simply wanting that space to not be regularly blocked is a valid concern as well. Having a car in front of your home can block the view of the home. And some homeowners that admire the progress made at tending to their lawns or setting decor or holiday arrangements then your car blocks the view keeping other passersby from enjoying the view and appreciating.
-There’s also the matter of having ample space to have on the street for trash cans, recycling bins, and compost receptacles (which for most garbage routes requires 5 feet apart for each for the garbage truck to use the grabber without scratching cars. And if a car blocks the front homeowners may be forced to block their own driveway)
-Or simply the homeowner wishes to enjoy the open view of their own home as well. Plenty of people spend time researching homes to ensure they purchase a residence with ample parking for themselves as well as guests to keep home appearances looking less ghetto. So for you to block the front because you didn’t do enough research into purchasing a home that has ample and comfortable parking for their family unit’s lifestyle is a rude problem to put on someone else. Perhaps people should consider spending more money on a larger home that suits their car collection needs rather than accumulating more vehicles.
So I mean it’s not really whiny if there’s a bunch of valid gripes to have. And for many reasons it’s valid. If it really is whiny perhaps you should provide arguments as to why it’s unreasonable to feel uncomfortable for others to have that parking arrangement instead of resorting to ad hominem. Cause otherwise, you’d run the risk of making the case for why people find that attitude inconsiderate.

I live in a “pseudo” cul-de-sac, so my yard is kind of a half circle. My neighbor has 5 vehicles and they constantly park their company truck in front of my house. What’s worst is that they don’t use their entire driveway, they only park 3 of the 5 vehicles on the driveway. It’s a nuisance, but unfortunately, I have to deal with it. I hate inconsiderate people.

I would also be fine if you had a mechanical emergency nothing serious but it forces you to park it in front of someone's house with this same mentality. FYI most public streets don't allow parking during certain hours of the night and morning among many other reasons.

Neighbors have parked their vehicle in front of my house for 2 weeks straight (the vehicle hasn’t moved once). The vehicle has a logo for a landscaping, which is against the bylaws that are set forth by the HOA. Also, it’s illegal to have a vehicle parked on a public street for 72 hours. Our HOA prohibits the parking of vehicles with signage from parking in driveways, however owners are permitted to park the vehicle in their garages.

I had a person that returns to my neighbor house that live 4 houses down from mines, parking there car in front of my house for about 2 weeks straight after I took one of my vehicles that I use park in that spot to the shop. My driveway stay full. I went down there to talk to the homeowner about it and they moved it. Keep in mind they only have 1 car in their driveway and nothing in front of their house. With all the stuff going on today, you don’t want someone parking in front of your house and not park in front of the house they are at because someone could be looking for the person that owns the car and could easily mistaken the owner of that car is living in your home. What the issue is common courtesy. If a house has 3 or 4 cars usually 2 in the driveway and the other in the street in front of the house. What the problem is is that neighbors will get 6 to eight cars and instead of shuffling they will occupy your spot in front of your house. This is also extremely frustrating when they park on the side opposite of your driveway entrance

On trash pickup days, they will move the trash cans out of the way of their parking spot into the driveway, and she will periodically miss trash pickups because of this. My former neighbor parked his Exxon Valdez oil dripper truck in front of my house so the street in front of his house remained clean while mine looked like an oil tanker leaked there.
There were many overhanging branches from my oak trees so I installed several bird feeders. It became so popular that a flock of pigeons would roost in my trees at night.
One morning I came out and the truck was completely encased in white it had so much bird sh!t on it. The look on the neighbor's face was priceless and I thoroughly enjoyed watching him scrub it all off before he could leave for work. That ended the parking in front of my house.
In my current home, they had college age kids for whatever reason park in front of my house usually in the wee hours of the morning, walk across my yard, wake the dogs up and get them barking which got me out of bed. Had enough of that. The next time I moved both my cars and pinned them in for a day. They got the message.

I live on the middle of the block on my street and no cars hardly ever park in front of my house. I usually put my trash bins out on the curb in the afternoon. A couple of times a guy who lives at the very end of the street decided he wants to start parking his SUV in front of my house the day before trash day because there are so many cars parked on the street in front of his house and across the street that he doesn't have space to put out his trash bins unless he blocks his own driveway. So he thought it would be OK for me to have to block my own driveway with my trash bins because he basically parked right up to my driveway on the curb. So I started putting my trash bins out the morning before pick up day and spread them out about 8 feet apart so he couldn't park there anymore. I guess he got the message and doesn't try to park there anymore.

I live on a corner and have had the neighbors whose house faces the street the front of mine does, repeatedly park entirely blocking m,y driveway. I finally called the cops to get them to move and they do it less often now, but still occasionally for 30-45 minutes typically which can keep me from leaving and pulling in when coming back from the store.
But ppl parking along the curb, besides being uncomfortable going in your yard due to crime here when ppl are stopped or parked there, it also makes it a royal pain to mow the flipping grass along the street curb, since their car is in the way and you can't cut it as you usually would and have to worry about hitting their flipping vehicle.
Being on the curb, one side of my property has the power lines, which the city needs access to when they are working on the poles and lines. Yet now the neighbor behind me has got a flatbed tow truck and started leaving it parked without moving for several days against that curb. His cab is against the curb in front of his property, but the long bed part blocks the telephone pole and is in front of my property. What if I wanted to add another driveway, I'm blocked out from doing it and like I said picking up trash and trimming the grass along the curb is a major pain when inconsiderate jerks park in front of your yard that you have to maintain. Meanwhile these same people often will have ZERO vehicles parked in front of their own property, so they have no reason to park in front of others, other than being inconsiderate and not wanting the same problems they are creating for you, in their own area.
Oh yeah forgot to mention, I was born here, am near 55, never had this problem until the last 15 years and both these neighbors, like the whole area now, are non-English speaking border crossing new arrivals.

I live on a corner, both the house beside me and behind me in recent years has 20 latinos to each house with a dozen cars in each of their yards. The ones beside me have completely blocked my driveway numerous times so I can't get in or out, they currently have a large loose aggressive dog living in their driveway that comes out at night or when people are working in their yard or drive.
The people behind me got a giant flatbed tow truck, they've started parking it and lining up broke down vehicles along the curb next to my back yard. They and the other neighbors both have driven vehicles through my fence parking too many in their yard. I have a injured back and now can't easily mow to the curb as well as have to worry about their flat bed tow truck corner poking me in the back or head. It's one thing if someone briefly stops due to car trouble or visiting someone for an hour or so once in a while, but lining vehicles along other peoples property that never move for weeks, as well as keeping your giant tow truck that you only drive off briefly every few day, when their property is as big if not larger than mine and both these neighbors have 2 driveways each, where I have only one. And now if I want to add a 2nd driveway how am I going to do that with a giant tow truck parked there as well as rows of non-moving vehicles. It might not be illegal, but it certainly should be as it's very inconsiderate toward the person that has to maintain that property and pays thousands a year for it. This guys tow truck is leaking oil all over the road, he damages the curb and besides making it hard to mow, there is more trash left on the strip and I can't get the stuff under the vehicle, it's also more places for their roaming dogs to hang as well. And they normally have NO vehicles parked along the curb around their house, they definitely have room to park their tow truck and busted cars around their own place or could make room to put them in one of their driveways. As well as there is no house just land where a store used to be at the curb across the street, they could park where nobody lives, instead of jammed up against me. I've had gang vandalism along that side ms 13 numerous times for years, I've had my house broke in a couple times, I've been assaulted and robbed at gunpoint. I get tired of having to be in the mindset of blowing peoples brains out every time I mow the grass or go in my f ing yard because people wont get the f out of my general area and want to be basically forcing themselves into my life rather than keeping in their own yard and area. I'm sick of these people, I don't care what you do as long as you leave me and my area alone. Drunks and whatnot have ran into the telephone poles along that side several times over the years, I can't wait for something like that to happen to this mf ers truck and cars, as well as car break ins, maybe he'll be getting in the vehicle when someone smashes into it. They are already blocking the pole for the city workers so maybe it'll get towed one day or I'll have to see about getting numerous driveways installed so I can call the cops on them blocking them. It makes me want to end the whole lot of them, where all they'd have to do is keep their sh it in and around their own f uking house and yard. Any vehicle that doesn't live there or invited should have to leave within 24 hours so if they broke down they could get a tow truck, but not making the curb along someone else's home your spot to leave vehicles. It can cause like I said interference in you maintaining around your house, it can cause mail delivery to skip the delivery, trash pickup to skip, interfere with work you or the city wants done and you have no way to move the crap since it's not your vehicles just your residence. It's stupid to allow this and of course leads to constant issues. I have to worry about non-english babbling hordes hanging out in the yard I'm expected to maintain by the city by allowing the jack as es to use it as their parking garage and shop work area.
If there is a homeowners association,it is not a public street.

I HAD guy park his motor home in front of my house and it was so close to my mail box the post office could not deliver my mail and every other day he would move it at night a few inches back and forth to keep from getting a ticket so for a full year i had a forty foot motor home right at the edge of my drive way blocking my mail box and he did not even live on my block
You Could have had it Towed, it's an RV or Mobile home, they have to Go Find a Space and Pay for that Space to Park their home!!! You should Read up on Mobile Home Parking Laws!!!

2023 checking in. I have a contractor that drives on my yard to back into the work property and I just learned I can park my car in front of the property and no one can do anything about it.
In my area it's legal because we have no drive ways barely and we have public parking. It sucks cuz we have to see who parks in front of our house the following afternoon. It could be a shady work van or truck.

I have the corner house...imagine if I went out and yelled everyone who parked out there. I really couldn't care less. They're outside. It's not like ppl are parking in my driveway, or blocking it. It depends on whether you want the front of your home looking like a used car sales lot. It is no different then living next to a hoarder. That is one good reason for HOAs. There are people who are not as concerned as others on what their yards or homes look like, every neighborhood has these type of people.
Aside from it being disrespectful, you are making the homeowner liable for even a scratch on your car. It’s asking for unnecessary trouble!

Some neighbors are so entitled. Used to live next to people who's adult sons would park in front of our house, not a problem really but they would also let their large dog run all over our yard which is very entitle of them to assume we want their dog in our yard and potentially crapping or leaving puddles of piss on it. I was also riding my bike once and one of my neighbors Labradors started chasing me and it would always do that but this time it nipped at my ankle, so once the dog left I turned around and told the owner to get control of damn dog and he tells me that I'm riding my bike too fast and need to slow down and that's why I deserve to be harassed by his dog on a public road every time I pass by there, so I told him next time the dog chases me, I'm pepper spraying it. I don't care if it's the dogs prey drive or drive to chase moving objects, that's the owners problem to deal with not other people's. Tie your damn dog up or don't cry when it gets maced. I also had a neighbor yell at me for hanging out on the street with my friends because her annoying chihuahua wouldn't stop barking at us through the window, so I asked her "do you own the street? No. So teach your yappy dog to shut up or leave my friend and I alone"
