I passed my driving test today at first attempt. I learned much from your videos. Keep it up. Thank you so much ♥️
I passed my driving test 1st attempt, your videos were very helpful especially the one driving positioning. I'm really grateful 😊
Hi Chris. I passed my driving test (manual) today. I cannot thank you enough for all your videos. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! :)
Waiting for my test date in 3 months so, this kind of video really helps a lot. Thank and God bless!!
Good luck with your driving test 👍
Thanks for your video last month I passed my test
Congratulations! Appreciate you watching 🙂
I was taught the 90 degree method so use that all the time. Works easily, just line the bay line up to your shoulders, 3 down from the space you want. Suppose it doesn't work so well when you have to park towards the end of a row though.
The trouble with that one is in the real world by the time you’ve counted your lines some idiot would probably pinch the space you wanted lol
That method is easy to do, but I find it hard to plan what bay I actually aim to be in. As it's mainly line up with a line, turn full lock = end up in a bay lol
If you are a new driver the best thing you can do is line up the line in your side mirror. Go outside of your car to make sure it is lined up in with your side mirror.
Go back to your car and see what that looks like in reference to your car door. Do this for both left and right. Lining up your side mirror properly before doing the full turn will ensure you are in the exact space that you will need upon reversing.
Thanks for all your videos. They were helpful in preparing for my test.
Thank you for sharing.. I'm going to take my driving test soon and this video will help.
I had my test today and i got asked this.I Used and it went well, but unfortunately i failed with 2 serious faults from general driving. Thanks for making this video and the others they are a great help.
Thank you soo much...I passed my test today with 1 minor error(reverse parking - control)
Thank you for your videos, its helped me to get my driving licence
Brilliant to hear. Keep up the safe driving and enjoy it 👍
Thank you so much for the videos, I finally passed!!!
Definitely going to use this 👍🏼

Best video show about car parking
Thank you so much! I was really confused with the other method that I was taught and I'd much prefer this way as it makes so much more sense ♡
Pleased it helped :)
Thank You, Wondefully Explained And Demonstrated :):)
Appreciate you watching 🙂
Got my driving test this month and I hope I could use this in my test and show my instructor.
Wish you all the best 👍
Thanks Chris for sharing
No worries
My problem is my front end tends to be at a angle, everything looks straight when I'm in the car but when I get out the front end is slightly angled.
I have the same problem lol,
@@pistonjab4515 I get out and look at the car get back and correct it, I think it's probably because there isn't much room to do it properly.
I like this tutorial 🙏😊👍
I had reverse bay parking on my test and I wanted to use this but instead used 90° parking instead got a minor as I wasn’t sure if you were allowed to use this or not. But thankfully I passed.
Congratulations on passing your driving test and yes, you were allowed to use this technique on the test.
Great video thanks a lot !!!
Glad it helped!
Ur best brother ❤❤❤😂
This video will be better if the Pillar C window is shown as well. Because it is easier to use as reference point with the parking lines since each person have a different side mirror configuration.
Also is there video on changing lanes on busy highway? How do we see from the side mirror that the car behind is small enough to change lane when it’s on busy roads?
I am struggling reverse bay parking but I can’t
How do you know you have 45 degrees?
How much is liitle left?
It's a guess you can be a little more or less. The rear of the car on the the inside needs t9 be roughly 45 from that point leading in
My issue always is how far front should I go from the selected space. I used to count lines, but by the time you do that someone else has taken the space 🤷🏼♀️.
How far you need to be to do any of these manouvers, ideally one door width length from the line?
Using the example in this vid, you can obviously see the gap between the side of your car and the black car you’re reversing around on the passengers side. However, how do you know how close you are to the car on the drivers side, given that in the right door mirror all you can see is the side of the car, with no obvious gap until you’re almost straight?
I failed yesterday because of bay parking 😔
lol
Don't worry try again and you'll succeed
Same
@mrve1 because of observation?
@@bluebell1743 didn’t complete it within the time after a lot of adjustment. But it’s all good, I passed on Friday!!
Say you where in a 2 way/lane car park where cars go either direction if you wanted a bay on the right side would you have to signal to move onto the right lane and if so can you turn it off once you have moved onto the right side off the road?
Yes, you would signal if would benefit anyone and you can turn it off after you've moved over (unless it could help anyone). But make sure there aren't any oncoming when you're about to move over to the right.
what do I do if I do my observations after putting the angle on and there is a car three who can see me and I'm blocking them? is it one of those manoeuvres where I have to stop until they have stopped? Happened today and I wasn't sure
When they stop and it's safe then continue 👍
❤❤❤
Do you have to signal while doing this maneuver? Thanks
Not normally unless someone else is confused by what you're doing.
Is there any instructions for correction action on what to do if we reverse backward and realised it’s too close to the car on the left? Or what to do if car is too close to the right car while we reverse.
If you need the car to go to the right turn to the right or left if needed to go left. Just simply turn the way you need to go.
During the exam when examiner said pull up in the left in a safe place, I saw a lot of driveways with a short raised kerb, can I pull up when the raised kerb is shorter than my car length where my bumper or back of the car blocked part of others driveway? Thank you.
Don't block driveways at all unless the examiner tells you to ignore them 🙂
