This project hits me spiritually. Grown man bars winning
"Dre will come & wash you, & walk away smiling, playing the flute"! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I never miss a Killer Mike interview. He is always dropping gems.
Facts
U hear him dropping gems. But are u picking them up and wearing the chain?? That's the difference
He talked about Atlanta politics and talked about how important local politics were, yet he didn't mention anything about the Cop City project that's going on in ATL currently. I wonder why? That's been the biggest political event in Atlanta for a good while now. Odd. He's been avoiding talking about Cop City from what I've seen though. Contradictions? Hypocrisy? Makes ya wonder...
@@El_Chuncho you right about that he hasn’t spoke on Cop City yet!🤔
Name one of these so called "gems"

Listening to Killer Mike makes me proud. I want all the “others” to listen to him and use him as the example and stop ✋🏾 looking 👀 at people in the streets and painting us w/a broad brush. There are more of Killer Mikes in this County than not. ❤🙏🏾❤️🔥💐
That album is 🔥
My favorites are Down By Law and Something For Junkies. Hearing that he is dyslexic makes me admire him as an artist even more.
THIS IS THE ALBUM OF THE YEAR MAN..
I enjoy listening to Mike talk, extremely intelligent and insightful Brother.....U can tell he has all the love and admiration in the world for Big Boi (Outkast Big Boi)
Oh my goodness. My hometown Georgia 💪🏾 Black King. I cried so much listening to “Michael”. It was on repeat for days. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

If you haven’t heard “Michael,” do yourself a favor. Start to finish…listen!CLASSIC!
Start to finish.. I AGREE!! and headphones!
This is the best interview I've watched, EVER! It reminded me so much of chillin in my room as a young girl hearing my pops and his his boys choppin' it up. And what's crazy is that us 6 kids were born & raised in LA. I'm the youngest and when I turned 15 my pops, hell bent on moving back home to his families land in Mississippi Mom's wasn't. He left. Came back to visit once. Went back out there and and 3wks. Later pops passed in the house he was raised in. Died at his most peaceful place and mind. ❤
🧢
Motherless song is dope my mom commented suicide when I was 15 heartbreaker bring tears to my eyes
Sorry for your loss, I pray for you peace of mind.
I seen the Michael show when Killer Mike came to Frisco at the Fillmore on 7/29/23. Small venue, great vibe to go to Chuuch. Fantastic show for an unforgettable album! "Motherless touches my soul".
Great convo between 2 Black Men. Need more of this.
"The most important thing you can do in a black household in particular is have huge images of black people, your people in your home."
-Killer Mike
I love Mike, he's so real and reminds me of my ATL family. He is so good for the culture.
never watched you show man and stumbled across this and man i have always loved killer mike but this is wayyyyy beyond just music....life period
As far as hip hop people in general, Killer Mike/Michael is one of my most favorite human beings hands down. Mature, smart, humble, real, etc. Pray all success and peace for this brother. Gotta hear that album soon
KM is a real one. I've seen homeless men approach him and he'll talk with them and dap them up. Dude is approachable and humble.
Mike, thank you for telling my story. Everything you spoke about is my life. I’ve cried more listening to this album than at my mother’s funeral. Thank you for speaking former street dudes trying to come to grips with life as we know it now.
9:00 gave me chills…. Flo cold Boi!!!
Best Album of the year to a mind that is open enough to listen to it.

Thank you for educating this 60 year old. I’m sharing this with my family. “Cool to be intelligent “, I agree.💙
Being born in 1957, black flocks were just trying get equal jobs and education. My mom was told that your child "has an attention issue"😢. I agree my mom and grandmother's answer was to make me read with comprehension. Now I have 2 degrees instead if the educational system. The struggle is real. Thanks for all you're sharing.🎉

To hear him state those early influences is amazing. Those were mine at the beginning of a forty year sentence. Twenty years free because of their inspiration and my introspection.
This project should win every award for this year consciousness need to be rewarded

You definitely want a diverse slate of buyers to reinvest in the neighborhood that have the same vested interest. I also believe mixed income is wise. I so agree ownership is critical!
