Peepz complaining about reliability. Well, I own a XFS 3.0 facelift Diesel. No problems at all. I had that thoughts too, but that is old Jags from the 60-70s that had quality problems.
I love my Jag. Makes me happy every time I drive it. Smooth, beautiful and kicks like a mule. 330bhp and 720nm of torque. Try one first before judging it by rumours.

Hi from East Sussex, England. Been an XF owner for just over a year, the 2.2 diesel . It won’t chew up tarmac anytime soon, but I genuinely drove it from Brighton to Inverness in Scotland, on ONE tank of fuel . 636 miles , with around 60-70 miles left . For a 9 year old , 8 speed auto , you gotta admit , that ain’t too shabby ! Wonderful car 🚗 👍
Actually, wonderful channel Bill, I’m new to this and very impressed. Thank you! 👍

My mom's had a '15 XF 3.0 AWD Portfolio for about 8 months (purchased from a NJ Jaguar dealership with 26,000 miles on the odometer). Fabulous car. Smooth, quiet, luxurious and it handles beautifully. As Car and Driver put it, "its chassis is its secret weapon." Although the auto stop/start system helps, city economy isn't stellar (plus, my mother tears away from every stop and slams the brakes art every stop). However, highway economy has been impressive. I took the car on a 375 mile trip and averaged 28 MPG (according to the car's computer which, admittedly, are often programmed to be optimistic).

Brilliantly amusing review, and they're fantastic cars, I have an XFS and it's fast, very fast, but supremely comfortable, very tight and grippy in the corners and well balanced if a little tail happy in the wet (but my previous car was an Audi Quattro that I had for 14 yrs so maybe I notice the rear wheel drive tendancies more) ... and the reason it has a hint of Aston Martin in it is that it was designed by Ian Callum, the guy who designed the Aston Martin DB9. (oh ... and ... ps - in England we don't call it British-English, we just call it English ... just as the French don't call it Francais-Francais ;-) )

Well finished sedans (XF and XE) and back in 2014 it sold in Europe. They put a two liter in it for Europe, which was good. Then JagUar decided to update it and to raise the price consideably. Today invisible on our roads, still very well finished and stock equipped car. That car needs no options. The XF sells. Hopefully Jaguar will keep the nice body colours.

Hi isn’t the engine code 306DT ? Same as what’s in the discovery 4? Just asking ask I’m sure it is, and the discovery 4 with this engine in is know for weak crank and common failure point, just with you saying it’s bullet proof… I’ve a discovery 4 3.0 hse and the engine has done 228,000 miles now and still climbing daily, so I’m thinking of options.. rebuild it with forged crank or get one of these engines from this car and convert to supercharged instead of turbo
