I'm old af now. I remember being 15 when I first listened to Thrice. This band was one of reasons why I started singing in the first place. I'm glad to see this record got the revisit. I love the up to date mixing.
Favorite song off one of my favorite albums of all time re-recorded after 20 years. Makes me feel old AF but damn what a treat.

Damn, I have listened this album sooooo Manny times, so many times, you are my true beginning in what it was going to be my musical journey. Just listening this version gave me chills, it's the same song but it fells completely new. I love how your music has evolved because I feel the passion although there not the same speed and violence of those days but still a true feeling behind every song but giving us this revisit just feel like a nice gift. Thank you.

And I liked every single track on every album from the original one of this back... Just figured maybe Dustin hadn't sang in like 5 or 6 years or went to a foreign place or had a stroke

Love Media as well but i am wondering how much inspired the song structure is from NJ.
But i love both songs, Media has its own atmosphere and Cory really nailed the vocals and lyrics on that one.

This is the only weaker version compared to the original for me, vocals are left a bit lifeless here, thankfully it gets much better as the record progresses and I love his new vocal style, so sadly even tho this is a miss and the harsh vocals are a bit "pathetic", instrumental is more crisp and the mix finally got the praise it deserved and you got a praise from me now, that you went into a fucking studio as 40-year olds and give yourselves your OWN hommage for this godly record

i liked the extended edition of this song originally unveiled all those magic years ago at warped tour best, but this is passable...shoulda had me guest in this one since youre out of practice on the screams... i can sound just like you used to but not quite as perfect as your screams used to be... close tho. not a fan of the half hearted job of the ppl u got on this album extra tho. you can tell theyre not familiar with the feel the original had and the passion Dustin had when originally singing them when he was in practice. the new stuff makes me wish the band had a diff name and symbol cuz i dont really like to have tats associated with the whiny sleep fuel really. felt like more passionate when the words werent poems mostly that only make sense to weird emo kids. no fire in them like days of old. at least you did tribute to the last album that was amazing beginning to end and not just one good track per album after this one. The Illusion of Safety was still way better and you should redo it next

Almost regret all my thrice tats cuz its just music for sleep aid since with crap shallow emo lyrics that are metaphorical...they shouldnt try to mix poems and punk.. put Justin sounds like he's recovering from a stroke and all the guest singers don't have their heart in it and sound better than him. Only good songs were paper tigers and blood clots and black holes in a good I mean the only ones that were as good as or better than the original album. All the other tracks are barely listenable because it sounds like someone's doing a shitty cover.
