I'm a stay-at-home dad with some spinal difficulties. This would be a good solution for me to get great smelling clothes, lower my power bill, and not hurt myself. Thanks for posting. I still remember the smell of sheets and towels dried on a clothesline when I was a kid. Now it's time to return to my roots-lol.
Looks like a nice cloths line. My husband needs to fix mine a tree branch landed on mine during the winter and it broke. We will need to look into one like this. The clothes line looks easy to use. Great install video. Thanks for sharing :)
We had one of these attached outside the washroom window when I was a kid (not this brand, same concept), so you could wash the clothes by hand in the washroom, then clip them on and send them out, all from the washroom!
Our dryer has been giving out for the past couple weeks and I definitely like the feel and smell of line dried clothes. I’ll most definitely get one of these set ups for our home. My yard isn’t as big and beautiful as y’all’s. So I’ll probably need a way smaller pulley system.
Excellent. My only problem is the part that was left out- how you got the end piece on (at 5 min 29 sec-it is shown). I have a pulley (not as good as this but set up similar) and I am changing to this type of line. I am looking to see the best way to join or connect the ends. Though I do love that tensioner! Way more functional than my ‘cord tightener’.
We are distance learning. Our 7 and 8 year olds really were interested in learning more about clotheslines and how they worked. Thank you for this video.
this is what I've been looking for i need this to hang dry all my baby's cloth diapers!!! thank you for putting the phone # to where I can buy it I've been looking everywhere 👍❤😁
I have a similar set up. How the he k do you stop the clothes (on bottom wire) flipping over and getting stuck wrapped around the top wire rope? I've tried spacers, weighting bottom of clothes with clips etc. This happens more often with pillow cases, towels, large sheets etc. The wind here on west Australia tends to change direction a lot over the day.
do you have an update on this clothes line please. how has it down over time...a year.. i went to the web site...i really like what you did...thanks for sharing.
It has been wonderful! We moved to a new property and installed a new one here as well and we just love it. You can check out our video on the new clothesline here: ruclips.net/video/u9MtokJ1JhQ/видео.html
We left it at that property. Then we got another one of these for the school house property and left it there. Our current property came with the 2 'T' clothesline posts, so we are using those now. We would have bought another pulley one if our new property didn't have those already :)
You want your line LEVEL so put your hook at the height that will make the line run level when it's taut. You'll have to run a line and use a level -- it's not likely the height from the ground on your tree will be 6'2".
Hello thanks for the vid. I'm going to put one of these in for my mother in law and was wondering what size pulley did you use the 8" or 12"? I'm looking for ease in pulling and it will only be about 45' long line.
Did you Install The Whole thing With one Hand, Due to the Fact you wereHolding The Baby? Hope you Put A helmet & Safety Harness on Him /Her] when you were up the Tree.
My husband was thinking why Am I doing this. While I am so excited to do this. Reminds us how we should appreciate anything for free. Free clothes dryer cheaper on resources. Solar clothes drying is anti bacterial and removes all nasty smell naturally.
@@outdoorsywannabe1888 solar drying - that term cracks me up. My parents grew up in a time where that was just called drying clothes. The biggest benefit is that it is easier onthe fabric than a dryer heat. Smells Fresh. and good for planet. enjoy your solar drying yall!

Thanks for this great review. I just ordered the 200 foot kit, we are excited. No more walking up the line!
I love hanging clothes outside. Although we have a very nice dryer we just bought .

Here're your geometry and physics classes!
Nice job; thank you for sharing!
Tensioner comes pre assembled onto the cable. I'm putting one up right now between 2 trees 50 feet apart. Superb quality product.
We love it :)
this was a really neat video!!! Love it !!
Thank you Tessie! =)
With all the free advertisement for this company, it's too bad they don't give you a commission! You could add a link to the video.

Very nice!
Just got ours now have to put it in, thanks for making the video
Cool! Thank you
I bet you liked that clothesline Evee
Yep, pulley clotheslines are cool. But I really like our current clothesline the best, the Laundry Lounge :)
Es exactamente el que necesito! 😍👕👗👖🧦🩲🩳👙👚👘
Nice setup. I'm guessing this didn't make it to where you are now? I recall you painting "T" posts black.

How high is the tree end. We know the post pulley is 6'2" but not the tree.

Great video and great tips. Thank you.
I have to get one of these , Great video !!
Yea, this clothesline is super cool! Thanks

They are 8" and have been working great for us. :)
Thank you much.
Does the clothesline tightened come already on the line? If not ,how is the best way to attack it to the tightener
Yea, it comes already attached to the cable.
Super cool hardware… but treated wood would be a good idea.
Awesome!!!
where did you get the tensioner
It comes already attached to the cable. Skyline Enterprises Clotheslines
thanks i didn't look at the cable just the instrutions and they mentioned it didn't come with it.... i was rather ticked.
you will really like that =)
Nice!

When cable rusts..... rust transfers to wife’s washing.... it’s my fault.... bad product
This particular cable is coated in vinyl so no worries about rust.
I had my cable for many years. It is threatening to crack, but so far no rust.
Calls channel out in the country. Houses and apartment buildings all around him. Somebody take this kid out to the actual country...
Look at the date of this video. This was years ago and back then we actually had a different channel name.
ahhh ok my bad
rust will ruin your cloth
There's no rust with this clothesline. The cable is wrapped in clear vinyl.
@@diyfferent ok good! I thought it was bare
whoa dude, its 2019, why you getting your woman to put up the laundry. ffs
