- After a tense battle, the Philadelphia Eagles got the WIN against the New York Giants, 33-25, at Lincoln Financial Field.
QB Jalen Hurts, RB D'Andre Swift, and WR DeVonta Smith all found their way into the endzone and K Jake Elliott hit 4/4 field goals. LB Shaquille Leonard brought on the pressure and lead the team with the most tackles while CB Kelee Ringo caught the game-winning interception.

6:50-7:00 is the best run I’ve seen all year to see Swift Hurdle the defender make him miss then duck between two defenders and they tackle each other. That’s a highlight indeed

Zaccheus hitsticking Boston Scott and Goedert slipping on an out route gave the giants 15 pts alone. Take away those flukey points, its most likely 36-10 or some crazy blowout .
Why is everyone crapping on the defense? The Giants got a pick 6 and a fumble recovery for great field position. We basically gave them 2 free scores. They only really gave up 2 scores on defense from actual drives. The better question is why does the offense go stale and allow teams back in games?
We could barely beat the giants. We won because we were the more talented team. That’s it. I’m not convinced, far from it.
I mean it’s only so much we can do with the play calling from the coaches. Players have to overcome it because this is a problem that won’t be fixed this year.

Taylor has really continued his consistency with success. He was an mvp on the bills. He Has shown nothing other than complete utter promise to his belief in this future career. Tommy Devito is an underdog. Giants defense is under shadowed by their inconsistent record. Guards, receivers and running backs are more than solid. No matter what, they proved themselves, and they showed they can’t be underestimated. I’ve watched teams play, you can tell the difference between people playing, and people fighting, almost like it’s their god given duty to win. That’s why I love watching the G men play

Despite some mistakes that happened which almost cost us the game, Hurts and the offense honestly didn’t look all that bad. It’s amazing how Dandre Swift is so clearly the most talented running back in the division, yet so consistently falls short of 100 yards. He should be a top 5 leading rusher in the league. Our play design and playcalling is terrible. You need to run more than just the same two run plays over and over again.

He was never known as a great passer although he has come along well the past few years. At this point in his career and season a young qb will always benefit from a good run game especially playoff time where u need to control the clock and keep the chains moving. I think they should be fine longer term. This year they still have a shot just not playing as crisp as last year.

1) Hurts looked OKAY today, still bailing on the pocket too much causing holding penalties and near mistakes. But made some great plays today
2) Shocker, ran the ball and Swift balled out. RUN THE BALL
3) Dallas Goedert finally utilized a bit and it showed. 2 threats is good, 3 is great.
The Bad:
1) Brian Johnson still sucks something horrible.
2) See above, the screen plays, consecutive screen plays no less, continue to be the worst thing in their damn play book. But the idiot refuses to move away from them.
3) Our interior D linemen were literally non factors tonight sans Cox. Davis, Carter and Williams were actual no shows. That NEEDS to be fixed to help our edge guys get home. No sacks against this team is just sad

i can refute some of these points the good - hurts looked GREAT, he bailed bc of the extra rushers the giants kept bringing and wouldve been flattened if he didnt bail as early as he did but overall valid point by you, #2 they have used swift a lot this season to mixed results, he balled out today no doubt but thats not always the case. #3 goedert continues to show me he isnt elite; that slip on the pick and then a crucial conversion play that hit him in the hand and he couldnt reel it in.. tremendous TE but not elite to me
the bad, brian johnson called a good game, everything was cooking, #2 screen plays are how a lot of these guys have been getting involved but i do agree screens are overused in this scheme but we shouldnt abandon them wholesale.. i agree with point 3 except for a crucial play that carter made to bring down a runner (cant remember if it was saquon or one of the QBs) on 3rd down to force a punt when it looked like they had plenty of room to run for a 1st.. encouraging win to some degree but my main takeaways was how porous the back end can be when the d line doesnt get home... bradberry is COOKED

everything clutch OK and then he breaks the drive..after the timeout the momentum was over , field goal
he is a born coach and loves the eagles he is the perfect coach but this season he loses it on the sideline too often..idk but as headcoach you should be that stoic "sho gun general" that zen warrior that keeps it calm when the situation on the battlefield is hectic dont fuel the hectic chaos

They did that without Slay who, despite the hate, has actually been the only semi-competent DB in coverage this year.
Playing Eli Ricks, Sydney Brown, and Kelee Ringo in coverage. 3 rookie corners drafted in round 3 or later.

@@j.g.mcbell9494 Firstly, this team does not have a truly great player outside of Saquon. Secondly, the Giants have only scored more than 18 points 4 times this season. Two times against two god awful teams, once against a sub par team. The 4th time was against the Eagles. You are the first good team that the giants have scored more than 18 against.
The Giants have been blown out 4 times when facing good teams, and two or three times when facing decent teams. The other good teams that they have faced have all won by at least like 15.
Also keep in mind that this was a home game for you. And that Tyrod Taylor was at QB for the Giants.
All in all, make no excuses. You should’ve won by 40 and you know that.

I was happy with the offense. Even though one Giants score came off a pick. That said the defense is what it has been all year. This off season we need to replace some guys. The corners especially.

As a Giants fan, this is the perfect outcome. We had no chance of winning it all this year so winning games is dumb, but showing effort and showing that we are a capable team that’s just a few pieces away from competing is important. So making the Eagles sweat while still improving our draft position is the best outcome.
Worry more about your draft position instead of trying to beat us in a meaningless game
