Moderated by Francis X. Clooney, S.J., Parkman Professor of Divinity and Professor of Comparative Theology, Harvard Divinity School. The discussant was Anantanand Rambachan, Professor of Religion, Saint Olaf College.

In his book, " The Universe in a Single Atom" Dalai Lama says " my confidence in venturing into science lies in my basic belief that as in science so in Buddhishm, understanding the nature of reality is pursued by means of critical investigation: if scientific analysis were conclusively to demonstrate certain claims in Buddhism to be false, then we must accept the findings of science and abandon those claims. He says that science too may learn a few things as a result of engagement with spiritual traditions, in any case that these traditions will learn, on that there is no doubt: ' It may be that science will learn from an engagement with spirituality, especially in its interface with wider human issues, from ethics to society..." If this understanding develops among people of all religion days of hatred and animosity due to religion shall go for ever.
I wish in days and years to come, this world will find a unifiying spirit of humanity in wisdom of upanishads and vedanta.

The fact that Lhamo Thondup was awarded the Nobel "Peace" Prize - in league with demons such as Barack Obama and other presidents of the United States of America - is further evidence of his WICKED nature.👺
A TRUE teacher of Truth (such as Lord Jesus Christ) would be put to death for speaking Truth rather than being lauded by ignorant miscreants.😇

I think Sri Aurobindo's presentation of Vedanta is world-positive. Beatrice Bruteau, a follower of Aurobindo, wrote a nice book "Worthy is the World: the Hindu Philosophy of Sri Aurobindo." Swami Rama Tirtha and Swami (Papa) Ramdas are world positive, the latter referring to himself as a "Liladvaitin."

The last professor speaker is not well informed. Vedanta is not for monks only. Bhagwad Geeta is all about how Vedanta applies to a Samsari or common people.
He needs to listen to Swami Sarvapriyananda’s lectures on Advait Vedanta,, all the points he is making against Vedanta will be rendered nisguided
