  • Hello friends, hope all of you are doing well. In today's video , we will learn how to make a line following robot using arduino UNO. This line follower robot used 2 infrared sensors to detect a line marked on the floor and follows it. This is a step by step tutorial which used a very efficient algorithm for this line following robot. The geared motors are powered by an L 298N motor driver board.
    This line follower robot very efficiently detects and follows even complicated shapes and sharp edges. I can assure you that after watching the video, you will be surely able to make this line following robot.

    Can you please provide the sketch of the wires? Thanks!
    Edit: No worries i figured out where the wires go by looking at your ultrasonic sensor video, the robot works perfectly fine. Thanks!

    Thank you, we have made this. But the line follower is going in circles.

      Hi friend..Do you mean that both the wheels are rotating in opposite directions?. If yes, please interchange the motor wire connection at the motor driver board of the wheel that is rotating backwards. That should solve the problem..

    Is this possible using TCRT5000 sensor instead IR sensor as in your tutorial?

      I have not tried this project with TCRT5000 sensor. But I think this should also work..

    Basic question: can the lines be made with black tape itself, will it be too reflective for the sensor? Or do we have to use black chart paper for making them?

      @Science_4U_  Месяц назад +1

      Hi friend, from my experience it can be made from black tape itself. I have infact used a black insulation tape which was slightly refective also. Just make sure you have a contrast with the background. If you are using black tape, the floor should be a light background.

      Hi friend. I am not getting this error when I am compiling and uploading the code. Are you IDE software from PC/laptop for uploading the code or are you using phone application?

    what battery should i use if i dont have a lithium/lip-ion battery?

      You can use 9V zinc chloride battery. These are very cheap and commonly available but dont last long. You can use 3 or 4 nos. of these batteries in parallel so that it will last for some time.

      @Science_4U_  Месяц назад +1

      You can also yse 4Nos. of AA zinc chloride batteries.

    thanks for your video, but what code can I program for 4 wheeled robot ? Can you please reply me ?

    • @Science_4U_
      @Science_4U_  Месяц назад +1

      Hi friend. You don't need to change the code at all for making a 4 wheeled robot. Instead of the one motor at left and right, you can connect 2 motors together. Join together red wires of both left side motors. Also join together both black wires of left motors. Connect this to l298n driver board. Similarly do for right side motors also. It is a bit difficult to tell clearly. I have done such a bluetooth car which uses 4 motors. You can watch that video given below to get an idea.
