You guys have inspired me to get a car camping setup going finally. I own a Ford Bronco Sport and I'm starting out pretty basic with just a sleeping pad, sleeping bag. Over the winter I plan on building it up the way i want it, with my back of my car being so small im unsure about doing a raised bed with a drawer, If i did it would be only 1/2 foot high or so. Ive thought about buying a cot for the car that has adjustable legs. Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated. Keep on truckin Murray!!!

We've had dogs in are family for over 60 years . I've learned that if you don't want her to wander while you're cooking of fishing try putting a small roll up mat and a pigs ear chew toy then when she's done looking or peeing shell come and lay down beside you and chew ! I've had golden retrievers for the last 30 yrs they went with me every where even doctor appointments also air tags on collars. Glad to see her out exploring with you it gives the channel a little more depth ..... Well that's just my opinion....I'm just saying. !!

Hey man love the videos, been following you for awhile, good video and the fish looked delicious! Just wanted to give you a tip when fishing shallower rivers.
When the water is lower and moving slightly slower drop down to a 1/16 Oz jig! 1/8 Oz at most but the 1/16 gets bypassed far too often! When those rivers drop and the current isn’t as strong, a good 1/16 Oz jig with a strong hook will seal the deal.
Going lighter helps you slow down and hover that bait just above the bottom and snags! Deadly with swimbaits, curly tail grubs, ringworms , etc! Let the current work the tail and just reel excruciatingly slow, barely turning the reel handle.
Walleyes and Smallies go nuts for that lightweight finesse. A lot of guys fish too fast, too heavy, and sometimes just slowing down and going lighter flips their switches on! You get less snags, catch more fish, ……
In shallower rivers or during drought seasons 1/16-1/8 is a mainstay unless the current or depth calls for heavier jigs. But in that spot you were fishing 1/16th would’ve worked fine, 1/8 would’ve been pounding bottom.
