      Spartan Reptiles I do believe that the older ones had problems but the ones now seem to be OK. The good thing about this is you can flat pack it when your done with it

    So I am having feeding problems not eating for me . It's all my smaller snakes and I am thinking they are in tubs that are to big . I ordered one yesterday a 8 high v35s because you showed how it can take all the small tubs witch I will need in the future. It cost me $750 with shipping and all the accessories and tubs ,the deluxe kit . I'm hoping it will last for years . I will modify my current rack and have it for when I need the big tubs in the future. Thanks again very helpful video when you are thinking about spending a good amount of money but don't know what to do.oh I'm in the USA so our prices

      @Ghost in the Shell my little male went 9 weeks . I got him a few months old and he took a rat the first and second week then nothing for 9weeks . Only a problem because he was basically a hatching. Have seven now all eating well . He i found only eats if he is in his hide but its been ok since i figured it out . I had two small females do the same thing but for six weeks then they just started eating . I ordered the vision rack over a month ago and havent gotten it yet . The tubs are 15" x 21" x3. 5" high much better for the small snakes . I have garters and what a difference the garters are all over the place in a big glass tank totally opposite . Are you just starting out ? I just started in jan 2020 had king snakes 20 years ago.

    Excellent review! I just got my 10 level 20 tub V35s rack and set it up yesterday but Vision includes the 14" riveted guide stop for these tubs but it forces the tubs to come too far out the front. It looks like you are using a different rear stop on yours, can you let me know which you use?

    the v35s tubs for male breeders, what about 1200 gram males?? would they be better in a standard v35 or is the v35s still good for them? been eyeing these racks up, for the price they are very competitive! Liked as always :)

    Gavin you should be able to use some cardboard and the bottom and top of each spacer as a shim so that way you can tighten your rack. don't use the recycled cardboard it's kind of flimsy you something that is firm. just an idea for a quick fix.

      not a problem anytime. I love my snakes and I like to build things so pretty creative when it comes to that kind of stuff. I built a rack out of an old computer desk and it holds 10 34 quart containers. best part about it everything is laminated already

      @@Balls2U smaller breeder deciding between buying this or building one. i just realized, you can only use the 3.5" h v15,18,35s for these racks. you cant put v70 tubs sideways because the height of those are 5.3", not 3.5"? or can you fit the breeder female tubs in there? thanks!!

    • @JTBReptiles
      @JTBReptiles 7 лет назад

      Balls2U I'd have a look into them though; there's lots of new science that makes creating such enclosures far easier and with more success. People including myself are now using them with desert species like leopard geckos, which are often kept it racks just like royals. There's definitely lots more to it than the usual setups, but once you have them running you starts to see the benefits ;)

    I've had my vision rack for over 10 years and think it's the biggest piece of $#^t ever made. The design isn't bad in the fact that I got 22 tubs with heat and casters for $900. The fact that it doesn't hold humidity at all what so ever and I have yet to get consistent full sheds from any animal in it. The gap between the tub and next level is way too much along with the hundreds of holes on each level. I even went so far as to tape all the holes shut made no difference. I'll never buy another one that's for sure. I'll stick with the pvc racks.

    • @Balls2U
      @Balls2U  7 лет назад +1

      GODFATHERS EXOTICS why have you kept it for 10 years then brotha?.... Not sure if they have changed the design, but everything you say you've had problems with, I haven't..... You guys over there are very lucky to have so many different choices of rack.... We don't get pvc racks over here. Thanks for the input brotha

    • @jimellisGF_Exotics
      @jimellisGF_Exotics 7 лет назад

      Balls2U I still use it just don't have the extra cash to replace it but it's going to happen for sure. Yeah we're really lucky. I'm planning on making my own next since I found a place that sells the pvc in sheets.

    • @jimellisGF_Exotics
      @jimellisGF_Exotics 7 лет назад

      All those vent holes are the issue with mine also I see that yours is a lot tighter where as mine are super loose there is literally 1/8" space between the tub and next level so I think it looks like they have fixed that issue. I was thinking of maybe just pulling the rack and shaving down the length of the plastic legs so they fit tighter like yours does.
