Ijen is not just volcanic but human interesting. I first visited there in 1990, we still find mines whose shoulders are at ear level.

This volcano seemed to be a cursed place in the best form of terrifying nature. Workers are literally talking to death at these places risking their lives. However, the amazing sight of blue flames, acidic lakes and thick sulfuric gas adds to the thrilling mystery of your adventure destination.
