The 59 FP is one of the smartest catamaran on the market

Can't believe I missed this at the show. We loved the Bali 5.4 but this looks like it might be a class above?

This has to be the most refrigeration I’ve seen on a production catamaran under 60ft.

The Bali 5.4 had a true full-size side-by-side, and (I believe) has an option for another, plus room below. Overall the Bali has a much more open layout and seems more livable, but this Samana is a great option. I have no idea what the sailing dynamics are between these two boats, but know the Bali often does an Atlantic crossing as it's maiden (delivery) voyage. Suspect the FP is much the same. This video makes me want to learn more about the FP. I'm excited to have options when I retire in a few years.

Will like to see SAMANA 59 as power catamaran.

With a 317 US Gallon (1200 liter) diesel capacity, this IS a power cat. Just ignore that huge "flagpole" in the middle of the boat. Joking aside, I'm told that most of these boats go into charter operations, and travel more of their miles under power than sail. Finding good charter crews who sail is tough, but motor crews are a dime a dozen. So the charters fly the sail once or twice on open water when conditions make it easy - to 'do the sail thing' the customers paid for - then motor around most of the time.
