Andy buddy, coming from you I can't tell ya how much I appreciate that. I was hoping you all would get a tad closer but I'm going to see if work would allow me to maybe skip down to Atlanta when you hit there. I really do want to meet ya man.
Dude that hi hat... it's tall enough to ride roller coasters! You pick awesome songs to cover and your passion shines when you play. Attitude and precision with your own little nuances thrown in as well
Tell me about it. So many of us are taken back when we hear so many of these and I certainly am in there. I can't explain to people what it was like to have so much great music coming at us for the decade that was the 90s. And before that, the 80s had done its thing. But beyond music - shit man, I was just young. Felt good. Back didn't hurt. Just living in a van by the river and lovin' it 🤣🤣🤣🤣
What is up dude! Well man, that is incredibly AWESOME to hear! I rolled over to your channel and didn't see vids yet but if you do post something, I'd love to hear it. And know I'm in your corner dude. Drumming for me at this stage is more about fun and just playing songs I like than ever before. Feel free to throw out song suggestions as I try to read them all. Appreciate you 🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘
Zax bud, I have to agree that this one is my fav from them too. Something about the attitude and the vibe of this particular tune that's a bit different than the rest to my ears. Thank you my friend 💪💪🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘🤘
🙏🙏🙏 Tommy, that's amazingly kind of you to say. My buddy Martin at MBDrums also has a great cover. Martin is one of the nicest cats you'll run into on here. For real, thanks so much for watching ❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘
I'm gonna try to have a good one bud. My weekends have now kind of turned into today. I get Sunday afternoon to leisurely stress myself out about picking and learning a song 🤣🤣😂😂 Seriously man, thank you for being you dude
What up MC! Lots of comments on here on this one with folks saying this is their fav Skid tune. I'm about ready to just flat out agree. I still really enjoy that first album but this tune has a great attitude and it has tons of feel to it. Rob Affuso really is a guy that seemingly never gets talked about. I always enjoyed his style. My sincere thanks my friend and hope you have a bad ass Saturday!!!!
Hello and my sincere thanks for the support my friend! I hope you are doing well and I mean it when I say thank you so very much for watching. Have an amazing weekend!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I think there is an argument that Will Ferrell could return as the 6th member of Skid Row as the grizzly veteran of Rock and Roll in the 90's. Whole new skit LOL!!!!!
Brother brother brother!!!.. You are honestly one of the most solid, locked in and just straight up bad ass drummers I've seen/heard... Keep em coming man, I've been going through a lot lately and watching this took me out of it for a minute so thank you brother
What up Brian! Well man, for whatever its worth - just know I hope everything irons out and you're straight in short order. As long as I can entertain to some degree, I'm doing my job on here. I appreciate ya and heart is with you bro
Doooood...........🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm glad you dug it. The add ons were anything but planned. Just how it came out after playing through it a few times. Years ago (YEARS ago), this was in a set list and I tried to remember what I did. Just couldn't man. That was many moons ago. I remember I sang the intro on this headset mic. We always had fun with that because none of us understood what any of the intro meant LOL!!!!!
What a sure high volume playing song, Man You are Killing it. That Kick ass Bucees sticker Just brings it to the Next Level. Great cover and you do it with style and grace.
LOVE me some Buc-ee's! Stopped yesterday and that place was insane. BUT, I left with a turkey sausage and some cookie dough. TOTALLY worth it LOL! For real, thank you so much for the kindness Carl! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
🙏🙏🙏 The cowbell deal in this one is tricky in its own right and normally, Skid Row songs aren't very tricky. I give Rob Affuso some legit credit on this. Super cool way to incorporate that. Vanessa, thank you friend 🤘🤘🤘
YES!!! Slave to the Grind is one of my favorite albums! Before I had a drum set, I “practiced” along to this album with pillows as drums and skateboard rails as sticks! Rob Affuso is a super-creative drummer, never settling for the obvious and always putting a cool spin on his drumming. The hi-hat along with the cowbell groove is an example of this! I could talk about his drumming all day! Hahahaha. As always, you killed it!
Mr. SESTER! Dude, this one made me think about pulling that album back up and really listening to it again. I still remember their VHS Home Video from this cycle too. The one thing I will always give them massive props for is they took out Pantera as their opening act. I still remember going to Knoxville and seeing this show. But - so I'm being honest - Pantera stole the damn thing because they were Pantera 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. That entire floor was a blood bath. But then Skid came on and it was the rock show we all dig. As far as Affuso, agreed and agreed dude. He really was a creative cat and not a guy you hear much about
@@richardsester7942 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 I started out in the uppers with my gf at the time but by Pantera's mid set, I was on the floor and moshing my f'n brains out. My brother & cousin had been down there since the show opened bro 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
What I like about your videos is that you don't do recitation like many drummers on youtube, every time I feel like I'm attending a fucking concert, you're an amazing old-fashioned drummer, as I love them and your work on the bell is great, your videos are a real treat, every time. I am proud to be your friend. Your group looks great too. I wish you every success
Bob dude............that's like the nicest and most fucking humbling thing to read that! No bullshit - I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to make that comment. Dude, I can't ever reinvent the drum wheel. I know that so I just try to entertain and what you took the time to write is everything I try to get across. So thank you buddy 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Really? Awesome sauce my friend!!!!! I'm sitting here answering comments and hoping a damn song comes to mind for next week LOL! If any suggestions come to mind, throw 'em at me bud. Appreciate you!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@Im_T.O. I've sat and studied that a time or two so I'll take you up on it. There's just a lot to learn LOL! To me, that's one of Carmine's finest tracks. It's a monster. GREAT suggestion
What's up Dale!!! Awesome of ya to check it out and glad this got you introduced to this tune! I honestly do think this album is worth checking out. It's certainly a retro thing now but at the time, Skid was a huge ass band. I wanna say they toured with Guns N Roses for most of this album's cycle but I couldn't swear to that. However, the writing was on the wall that all of this was going to stop. Nirvana, AIC and a number of other bands were coming along by this point. And honestly, I enjoyed all of it at that time. My friend, thank you so much and I appreciate you!!!!
Wow, man, you crushed this!!!!!! The kick drum blows my mind and the snare is amazing!!!!! Great work Trey, you never disappoint brother!!!!! I'll be listening to this a few times. 😊🙏❤️💯
Dude, you are now pushing KING status - did you get one of those moving racks? I'm not sure what the hell they call it - it's something you mount a camera on and it moves across the room. Bro, the last two vids on your channel are fucking pro. Straight pro Marcus 🤘🤘🤘🤘
See - I agree that whole intro is the bomb! Even though there's no drums, I couldn't cut it out. I shortened it but even that kinda hurt. I love the guitar on its own.
Excellent cover as always Trey You always find so much heart and energy when you play that kit mate well done indeed wishing you a great week coming cheers mate
Hey Now, that’s what I’m talking about 🤘🏻🤘🏻 that was BUMPIN bro . I used to BLAST this one in the car and the home stereo. Slave to the Grind was a great album
Those dudes were on a roll at this point. I remember them playing Get The Fuck Out at Wembley and that still being controversial. Think about that shit. In 1992, use of the word "fuck" was still a big deal. Now, I don't know what the fuck happened. On one end of the spectrum, we've let so many things go there is no point being offended at anything and on the other end, people can be offended at whatever AND other people cater to them. It's just fucked up. I just googled "Who Do I Blame For Everything" and there's no good answer.
I can't really argue with that. It's certainly not the most popular but in terms of meat on the bone / hard rock.........that's tough. I still like Sweet Little Sister and Piece Of Me from their first album too. Appreciate you bud!!!!
I sure appreciate that my dude! This one is another one of those tunes I just remembered. Where I generally try to steer clear of listening to other covers, I knew both Fournier and Martin (MBDrums) had done great jobs on this. My hope was since I did not remember any specific licks, they'd all have their own thing in the end. Only thing that aggravated me more than usual was I have a higher pitched cowbell. Drove my OCD up a damn wall on this one 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Anyways, you straight up rule Mike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Crack a lackin 😂😂😂 I was having an exchange here just a little bit ago on the drum mix of this album - I really wish they'd have brough Rob's drums way, way out from what they did. It was great on the vox / guitar and bass but the drums needed to be pumped up. So I tried to do a version of what that might have sounded like if a drummer would've mixed it 😂😂😂😂
Trey, this is as about as bad-ass as it gets, brother! My fav Skid Row tune and this is nailed like a spike into granite with a jackhammer!! Just pro...total pro.
DEEEEEECH!!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell is up buddy???? Bro, SO good to see you in the comments and makes me happy AF to hear this one is your jam dude!!!!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
This 'en shows my age a bit I guess LOL! They (Skid Row) did a number of good tunes on Slave To The Grind. It was a cool album at the time. They were just freaking huge at that point but I do remember one thing they did that really stood out. They took out Pantera as an opening act. Now I will say I respect the hell out of them doing that. I will also say any band that was crazy enough to have Pantera open for them in 1992, 😂😂😂😂. Pantera was just another level on everybody.
Rippin' work!!! Remember buying the album when it was brand new (on cassette) back in 1991, and this song was the intro for an amazing album full of great tunes. My drum teacher showed me how to do the cowbell/hi-hat part with the snare and kick later on, wasn't easy initially but was cool when I figured it out & could play the part. There's a similar bit in "Dr Feelgood" with the ride instead of the hats, it's a good effect.
I hadn't thought much about this and the link to Feelgood but that's a neat point! I was still in high school but was doing the cover band thing. We learned this and it always went over. The days long before a guy would hit a cowbell and somebody would yell "MORE COWBELL" 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I often wonder if Will Ferrell fully understands what he created LOL! It's a tricky little exchange at first but it's smooth sailing once you play it a time or two. Back then it was muscle memory so I about had to do it a bit better. I want to think I sang the intro on this too just because I was convinced it was just a bunch of cool sounding words that didn't have any meaning LOL! What the hell is a rag covered clone? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I could put some meaning to the rest of it but that intro........I was just lost. I used to say "Well, Bob Dylan on acid wrote this intro"
@@TreyBDrums Funny lyrics, yeah. "Little Creepy's playin' Dollies in the rain thinkin' Bowie's just a knife", all that mad stuff. Baz, Snake, Rob, Scotti and Rachel made it work, though. Even the slower songs weren't typical ballads lyrically, not the usual love or break-up tunes that were everywhere around that time; even Metallica did one of those! Skid Row's ballads were about abuse (In A Darkened Room, loss of faith (Quicksand Jesus) and drug addiction (Wasted Time), very different from the lovey-dovey cat's eyes fluff.
😂😂😂😂 When the whole cowbell skit came out, I honestly thought of this song Earl. They could have just as easily used this. Would it have been as epic? I don't know but Will Ferrell as the 6th member of Skid Row could have been some damn funny stuff LOL!!!!!
Man, you absolutely sold me on that song! I dug Skid Row back when they were "on the scene", I had their debut record in my walkman most days on my way to junior high. Killer cover, Trey! The hi-hat/cowbell combo rocked, and you got some serious shoes happening too!
Yo Myke! They really did have a day in the sun. They got to do some of the biggest damn shows imaginable. The GNR tour was especially incredible. And I think Sebastian was maybe 23 (give or take). Dude, that's so young to have that kind of thing happen. But this one had a lot of attitude and I will always give them massive props for taking out Pantera as their opener. That was the first time I saw that kind of cross over on a bill. I saw them twice on that tour and admittedly I was there for Pantera but I enjoyed Skids set both times dude. The SHOES! Gotta show that to the other half. She helped design those so she will greatly appreciate that 🙏🙏💪💪🤘🤘
Trey, you absolutely slayed it. Another great cover, which is one of my favorite songs by the way. As always your drums sound is killer. Keep getting after it brother. I'm going to watch this ine a few times.
What up my friend???? So sorry I'm running behind on my replies buddy. This has been so cool to see in terms of it getting regular views and comments. I didn't really expect that on this (Skid Row) so I'm very thankful. You think Youth Gone Wild would go over on here? I need to put a disclaimer at the top that says "I'm really Middle Aged now - not really going wild that often" if I do cover that 🤣🤣🤣
@@TreyBDrums Hell yes my friend, play that shit. You have deserved all the followings and thumbs up brother. And hell, age is just a number. I hope you and yours enjoy the Holidays. Keep getting after it Trey!
@@TreyBDrums Trey... saw your chat with drumman... you rule, bro!!! Great chat, really fun one... and i love the chance to know more about you as a person and not only as a drummer...
Only issue I had with this - and Red Gear (Bryan) caught it - my cowbell is too damn high pitched. I needed one of those deep ass sounding cowbells but I just didn't have one. But I've hit a point in life where a high pitched cowbell has to do 🤣🤣🤣🤣
One of my favorite songs brother! Getting ready for a evening of some of your rock ‘n’ roll metal drums! 😁👊 looking forward to it, my friend! Thank you for all the gifts you’ve given us, honestly, and extremely appreciate it! I can go to one place and get all the rock metal that I long for and it’s all in perfect condition! 🫵🤘🏻👊 If you ever decide to take a request, I know you’re extremely behind on your request, but that’s OK! Everything you send out my friend is just out of this world fantastic dude, and I look forward to each, and every one! Anyway, brother, I have one, even though it’s “WAY” below your level of talent, and yes, it is, I know believe me, I know! But lately I’ve hooked up with a song from the old days that I really used to love a lot and it really means a lot to me and it always has! It’s from Shotgun Messiah, and the song is Heartbreak Boulevard! I know it’s below your standards, but there’s just something about this particular song that really draws my attention! If you get a chance, add it brother and you want to, I’d love to hear it! Otherwise, you jam, what’s it in your heart, you’ve never done wrong yet! 😁👊!!! I appreciate you, brother, Trey, and again, thank you brother, for all you’ve given us!🤘🏻👊🫵
The ol' Cowbell flavor LOL! Rob Affuso came up with a tight little jam on that one. That's a cool exchange of the left / right. The video for this tune was cool too. They had a real gritty vibe. Appreciate you Joey!!!!
Fuck it, I´m hitting the like button before one beat of the drums. Will be great anyhow. Rob Affuso very underrated on this one. Trey not so much, sure you would nail this.
DOC!!!! If you're moved to the premature like, we've established trust 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Know this, I wish I could do more than just like comments like this - they mean so f*cking much dude. Thank you for your kindness and support bro
This has a T Lee Vibe. In another comment, someone pointed out the thread that kinda connects this and Feelgood and they had a really cool point on that. Appreciate you so much my friend!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
This is great! One of my favorite albums back in the day! Trey your drumming is off he charts! The production and drumming is top notch! You inspire me to keep to going! Thanks bro you rock!
JOEY!!!! Yep, this one was fun. I wanna think I listened to this mostly on cassette? This is the point where some kids read and say "Cassette? I must google that strange term" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 - dude, do you remember having to take a f'n pencil to those when they'd crap out? Oh God that sucked. But........back to this - I appreciate you my friend!!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@TreyBDrums I bought it on cassette as well! I later bought a used copy of the cd. I still love that album! I met Rob Affuso at the Modern Drummer fest in 94. Really nice guy took pictures and signed stuff. Very cool experience.
What is cracking my friend! Well, I'll take it and please know that makes me smile to hear ya dug it. Throw out any suggestions on tunes like this anytime if something comes to mind. I don't do requests but I encourage everyone to always throw out tunes they dig. Appreciate you!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Me Too!!!! I'm hoping I can catch a few more like that where I go "Oh yeah, THAT ONE!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for being so cool as to watch and especially for notice the shirt. Many people don't understand - Bigfoot doesn't believe in them either 😂😂😂😂
Yo Mike!!! The cymbal choke gone wrong has got to go on here. I've done those long enough now that I limit the ones that go sideways. BUT - I promise you that when I miss, it still hurts so damn bad 😂😂😂😂. I honestly do have two full blown scars on my knuckles from days gone by where I was choking broken cymbals and missed. Whew that shit hurts LOL!!!! But, it's fun as hell when it goes right 99% of the time
Trey on that Motley Crue video I see Tommy doing that all around his set that is so hard to do man so I give props to both of you my arms ain't long enough to do that around the kit one handed rather you do it and miss I know it hurts but it's a talent it really looks good watching other people do it
I'll absolutely check it out. I have never really sat down and listened to Subhuman race. No real reason either. It's just an album that for whatever reason, I forget it's even out there. Will give it a listen today Pepe!!!!
Another great cover! I was thinking that when Pantera returned in 2022 they should contract you. You play with hate and like an animal. Here's the best drum covers in youtube.
Aw dude, that's too kind. I was watching vid of Charlie with them yesterday. I'm still a little weird about all of that just because of how damn much they (Pantera) influenced me. That said, I'm still in favor of their music reaching a new generation. I just sincerely wish it was being done with VP and Dime. It's so surreal that neither of them would even be 60 yet they aren't with us. Andre' bud, I seriously can't tell ya how much I appreciate you bro 🤘🤘🤘
OMG - me and you both! This comment really jumped out at me - the hats are way, way down on that album. To the point that a drummer is bound to think "huh?" Great point
@@TreyBDrums the hats just sound so stiff on that record! I feel it works with very metal stuff like Accept or Loudness but stuff with attitude and swagger sounds cooler with looser hats imho. Loved the way this clip sounded!!
Great talking yesterday dude and again, thanks so much for that. I hope that turns out alright. Meant a lot dude. ON this, dude - thank you for just being so cool 🙏🙏🤘🤘
DOOOOOD! How the hell are ya Patric??? I'm so damn glad to see you in the comments man. I'm right there with you. This one is probably my fav. It's just got massive attitude and hook. The only one I can throw out that caught my ear in a similar way was Sweet Little Sister off the first one. Bro, I hope you are great!!!!!
What's new Jeff!!!!!! Man, this was incredibly fun to do. I was fortunate enough to see this tour with Pantera in 1992. Skid Row did put on a great show in my opinion. Pantera was out of their minds good. Any suggestions as to possible other Skid Row tracks? Happy Holidays my friend 🤘🤘🤘🤘
WOW Amazing cover!!! Sounds so great! Your drumming is so great and powerful! I love that! Got your channel by your interview with DM190! subbed!!!! You rock!
That is so cool and I was tremendously grateful he was kind enough to want to chat. I appreciated it so much and hope it came off alright for folks. It was a blast to just talk about drum stuff. Dude, back at you - your channel looks awesome!!!!!!!!!
Hey Paul! I appreciate that so, so much bud 🤘🤘🤘🤘 This was a fun tune to try. I recommend folks check out MBDrums on this song as well. Martin is a hell of a drummer and did a great job on this cover. For real, thank you so much for the kind words 🙏🙏
Killin it again Bro!! Skid Row had several bangers and this was one for sure! You nailed it and the stick twirling and one handed chokes were sick bonuses!
Skid Row is one of the bands that escapes me dude. On their first album, I still like Sweet Little Sister and a few others. 18 and life, I Remember You......I just got toasted out on those. They just played the shit out of those songs dude. But like you said - they had some smokin' tunes and they were a really energetic band. Glad to see the original guys got a new singer. That dude sounds damn good!!! I know Bach is still out there.
LOL! I probably always am in need of beating these things to get out frustration 🤣🤣 Christian buddy, thank you so much for being so kind as to watch 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘
Killing it, Trey!!! Fantastic performance as usual on your channel! Man, do I love this open handed hi-hat groove with the additional quarter notes on the cowbell! The world ‘brilliant’ doesn’t nearly describe your impeccable drumming skills, my friend! You’re as much a show man as you’re a drummer, a pretty rare combination, at least at that level of perfection. Another highly entertaining video. And now, let’s all take a minute and remember Sebastian Bach’s performance on the Gilmore Girls TV show. 😉👍🥁🥁🥁🤘
OH Shit.........🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The Gilmore Girls!!!! Yes, it is very much worthy of a moment on all our parts XD!!!! There was another show he was on where they formed a super group with him, Ted Nugent, a dude from Biohazard, Scott Ian and I wanna think it was Jason Bonham. That was...........shit man, that was just weird. The new guy that's out with Snake / Rachel - that dude rips!!!!!
Skid Row! Hell yeah!! Love their music, but don’t get me started on how they did Sebastian Bach with the whole KISS situation because it’s a bunch of “Monkey Business.” That’s a very nice Sunday Surprise from you, bro! Looking forward to your next video! Rock on, Trey! 🤘🙊🤘
You'd honestly have to bring me up to speed because I know very little about their deal LOL! All of them have to know that stuff like the Stadium Tour.......they could've got back together and done that. But I heard Snake say that as much money as there has been thrown at them, they just don't have interest. I respect it because after this much time, the money has been there and clearly it isn't solving the problem. So that tells me that all of them just genuinely don't like one another. That shit just happens in bands. I respect 'em all and I enjoyed their first two albums. Appreciate you Shawn and gimme the story on Kiss if you don't care
Rob Affuso getting some love. Oh fuck yes! Skid Row's second album was SO much heavier than the first, and to this day, a classic. Love your energy man! May I suggest It's So Easy by GN'R, next?
You absolutely may! I need to get at least one track from Appetite on here. That used to be a copyright nightmare so as long as that's not an issue, that song will be on the way in a few weeks 💪💪🤘🤘🤘🤘
Dude … let me repeat: Dude! Outstanding! One of my favorite cuts off my favorite Skid Row album, and you nailed it to the ground! Awesome display of coordination with the cowbell/hi-hat parts, and the double-kick riffs really added something to Rob Affuso’s accents. Once again, a killer combination of chops, groove, and showmanship.
James dude!!!! What's up man? This one is probably my fav track from them. It's definitely my fav in terms of what they released as singles but I'd go so far as to say it's my favorite overall. The double kick stuff - that's so cool of you to notice man! That's all organic as can be. I studied the general make up of the song but anymore I can't commit things to memory head to toe. Plus I hope I'm finding that middle ground where the liberties taken are in keeping with vibe of the tune. I appreciate you my friend! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
F***k, you got it right! The groove is spot on Trey! 👌Especially since Skidrow is not that easy to play and I've been thinking to do this track as well for quite some time now. I find it funny how it's a little "taboo" to talk about groove in Metal and Hard Rock, probably because of the old "disco" war going on back in the days... But I'm always amazed how much groove there is in this music, at least when it comes to drums and bass. And Monkey Business is of course a great exemple.... Keep rocking Trey!
What up BRICE!!!!! Go for it - do one of their cuts. I'd love to hear it bud!!! To me, this one is probably my fav in terms of the tunes they released for singles. I still like Sweet Little Sister, Piece Of Me and GTFO but this one seemed to just be on my radar. Figured I'd give it a go since I'd done it years ago. Appreciate you my friend 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Trey, another killer rendition! Amazing how we have exactly the same taste in music! Awesome brotha! And great power deliverance! I’m actually in a Skid Row tribute band here in the UK. I’m still trying to get my left hand on the hi hats with the cowbell on my right, the way ya do it which is the correct Affuso way. I’ve been faking it since 2010 😛 Keep those videos coming!
DUDE! How damn cool is that! I had no idea. I had done this tune many, many years ago so a bit of it came back. But I had to slow it down and kinda get the approach on it all over. My only advice is just to break it apart and go slow if it's odd. I'm not home enough to really practice stuff the way I'd like so I honestly start this stuff in my car or when I'm inside at work. Maybe take your left hand and just practice playing the hats, the kick pattern and coming off the hats to hit the snare on the 4? I mean the second you have that, the cowbell goes right in. The only thing left from there are the accents and I found that right after the accents, let the left and right hands back on the cowbell and hats at the same time. But seriously man, if you're currently doing this tune with your left, you're doing it! You could even get one of the cowbells you use with your left foot (those are bad ass). I'm not one who thinks there's a right and a wrong way. Check out my buddy Martin's cover of this (SMOKES) @mbdrums. He has his cowbell and hats positioned differently. That may resonate more with you or give you more ideas. Keep me posted my friend and thanks so much for the comment. So sorry for the long response man.
@@TreyBDrums thanks bud! That’s some good advice. I need to get more dexterity in regards to my left hand to play it like ya do and to do more showmanship stuff too 😎 keep those tunes coming brotha! Can’t wait for the next one 🤘🏽
Kick ass job yet again, always amazed by your technique
Daniel dude, thank you for those amazingly kind words and thank you so much for watching 🙏🙏🤘🤘
Splendid work as always! killer sounds and playing
Andy buddy, coming from you I can't tell ya how much I appreciate that. I was hoping you all would get a tad closer but I'm going to see if work would allow me to maybe skip down to Atlanta when you hit there. I really do want to meet ya man.

Man the memories
Tell me about it. So many of us are taken back when we hear so many of these and I certainly am in there. I can't explain to people what it was like to have so much great music coming at us for the decade that was the 90s. And before that, the 80s had done its thing. But beyond music - shit man, I was just young. Felt good. Back didn't hurt. Just living in a van by the river and lovin' it 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I keep on coming back to this one! FUCK YEAH DUDE! 🤘🔥
Holy wow! Amazing high energy performance 🤟🏻
Awesome awesome AWESOME

Oooof! A firm favorite from back in the day! Such a great album… Wicked cover too man! More cowbell!!! 🤣👍

🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 My sincere thanks
Dude! I mean, Dude! All the small additions you put in here were awesome and did I say, Dude!
Trey this is totally wicked! Great tune with the right amount of cowbell and with that heavy of a performance Bigfoot now believes in you!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 That shirt cracked me the f*ck up dude
What a sure high volume playing song, Man You are Killing it. That Kick ass Bucees sticker Just brings it to the Next Level. Great cover and you do it with style and grace.
LOVE me some Buc-ee's! Stopped yesterday and that place was insane. BUT, I left with a turkey sausage and some cookie dough. TOTALLY worth it LOL! For real, thank you so much for the kindness Carl! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Loooooooove the cowbell part! So sick!
He really was a creative cat and not a guy you hear much about
I was at that same Knoxville show!!!

I have never heard this song before. Amazing drum work, as always! Keep on rocking buddy, and I will keep on watching!
@@TreyBDrums AIC is my favorite 90s group. My middle child is named after Staley. Her name is Layne, pronounced Laney.

@@TreyBDrums I feel ya on that bro
Trey My Man!!! For sure no monkey business when it comes to you smashing on that drum set! Bravo Sir!!!
I'll take it Julius! Just please know how much I appreciate you watching 🙏🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘
Trey brother that was killer! That is the best song they came out with my personal opinion! Great playing brother!
I can't really argue with that. It's certainly not the most popular but in terms of meat on the bone / hard rock.........that's tough. I still like Sweet Little Sister and Piece Of Me from their first album too. Appreciate you bud!!!!
Great job crushing this great tune my man! Love the doubling up on the cowbell and hi hat -- sounds incredible. This whole thing is friggin dope!🤘🤘
Drove my OCD up a damn wall on this one 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Anyways, you straight up rule Mike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude! You have amazing talent!
🙏🙏 That's unbelievably kind. Just thank you so much for being so cool as to watch
Woooo...what a fkn sound mate!!
Crackin as ever 🤘🏻🎸🥁🤘🏻
Crack a lackin 😂😂😂
I was having an exchange here just a little bit ago on the drum mix of this album - I really wish they'd have brough Rob's drums way, way out from what they did. It was great on the vox / guitar and bass but the drums needed to be pumped up. So I tried to do a version of what that might have sounded like if a drummer would've mixed it 😂😂😂😂
@@TreyBDrums crack a lackin...😂😂
You tried to do a version.... amazing man!!
One of my fav about history of RnR
Trey, this is as about as bad-ass as it gets, brother! My fav Skid Row tune and this is nailed like a spike into granite with a jackhammer!! Just pro...total pro.
DEEEEEECH!!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell is up buddy???? Bro, SO good to see you in the comments and makes me happy AF to hear this one is your jam dude!!!!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Awesome cover I've never heard this Skid Row song before but you did a phenomenal job 🤘🆒
More cowbell Trey! Just murdering those toms and cymbals! The kit sounds amazing Trey!

I’ve been faking it since 2010 😛
Keep those videos coming!
