Awesome video if I may add a suggestion last step should be to pump the brakes until hard at least so others who are unaware of this last step
Dude you’re great. Thank you. Also I thought it was funny hearing you say “put the spring somewhere you won’t lose it. Very important”
*tosses spring on the ground*
Great video, very helpful and concise!
Thanks man, glad the video helped you out!
Great video!
I'm having to replace my pads and rotors. There's so many opinions online of what's good. I was wondering if the kit you used in this video (link of luxery model in description) is good or just mid quality. Do they produce alot of brake dust or noise?
Does this work for the back too? My first time I’m learning
Fantastic video! Will a c-clamp work to push the calipers or is it definitely better to get that tool?
It's better to get the tool. A c-clamp will push one piston in at a time, and there are four pistons. If you push in one, another will pop out to compensate and you'll get no where. The tool pushes them all in at once so that problem doesn't exist.
@@stollo770 ok that makes sense, thanks so much for the quick response!
@@joelranglin5327 No problem, good luck with it!
did you have any issues with the electric parking brake?
Nope, not at all
@@stollo770 thanks, great vid. shop told me $67 a piece for an electronic e brake procedure.
Be sure you put your vehicle in service mode before working on the rear brakes
