- This 800 mile trip was completed with the Cummins EPA VB6 reflash a few months ago.
Once the recall comes in I will redo this loop to see the impacts to fuel mileage on my cummins. Overall pretty happy with the 5th gen Ram cummins 6.7l.
I have made another video about DEF consumption prior to recall
• 2013-2023 Ram 2500 & 3...
Cummins 0-60 pre recall
• 2019 ram 2500 Cummins ... Авто/Мото
Thanks for letting us know the difference in fuel and DPF consumption. Looking forward to the next video.
More to come!
Those old snowmobiles are really cool.
It was so cool to see! Thanks for watching!
Ah, da UP up nort. Hello from New Glarus beautiful area cool sleds!
Hello there!
Thanks for the video
You bet!
Love the old articat
Thanks for watching!
I'd say biggest improvement for you with such a light load should be putting the middle of your go kart over that front axle of that trailer.
Just a tip from a semitruck flat bed driver.
Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching!
@CTECH-REVIEW no problem, nice looking trailer too BTW.
I tow a 48ft enclosed triple axle with my srw 3500 n that's the biggest thing if you're not filling your trailer to the brim is balancing the heaviest part of the load over the axles.
just for clarification, thats not a weight distribution hitch. Thats a weigh safe drop hitch. Its showing 1100lbs of hitch weight because you've got that SXS loaded all the way to the front of the trailer. Put the SXS more over the trailer axles and the tongue weight will drop quite a bit and reduce that rear squat. And I hope you dont fill the DEF completely to the top like that all the time. Thats the worst thing you can do for that crap emissions stuff.
Sorry if I made a comment about it being a WDH, its just a weigh safe adjustable hitch..no WDH on this setup. These enclosed snowmobile trailers like a tongue heavy setup or they don't tow well from my experience unfortunately.
@@CTECH-REVIEWif the sxs was over the trailer tires instead of all the way front putting so much weight on the hitch. If you park it over the trailer tires and should be around 500lbs tongue weight maybe a bit more (no less) and wouldn't ride as bad
I have 50,000 mi and my truck has never gone into regeneration, is this more than you're used to?
Typically these trucks regen every 500-1500 miles or so. It’s required to keep the exhaust system clean. Thank you for watching!!
My hemi gets almost the same mileage, you must be kidding you’re happy with 11 and 12 miles per gallon with a tuned diesel? I’m confused.
Thats good if you get that in your Hemi! You got a good one!!! I got 7-9 with my 20 hemi 1500 pulling the same trailer!! Thank you for watching!
My 2500 won't pass emissions after the recall. Took them a perfectly running, bone stock 50,000 mile truck and all they did was render it useless in California at this point!!!!!
not good what year? any mods?
Register it in Montana. There’s a service that does it for you. Look it up.
Ok. What tuner? Have you deleted her??
No sir! all stock, just using an EDGE monitoring device to see temps/vitals! Thanks for watching!
@CTECH-REVIEW that mess up your emissions at all? Like more regenerate. ect
I get 10 w my sxs and 8x16 trailer w a hemi
Nice! Thanks for watching!
Not heavy but tows heavy. What exactly does that mean..you think its heavy ??.
I should dive into this for a different video, great question! tall enclosed trailers push a lot harder going down the road than the weight they are...what I mean, I have pulled 14k lb construction trailers that are low slung and they dont tow as bad as a 5-8k lb trailer for sway/pushing the trailer and truck around plus fuel economy is always much worse on a tall enclosed trailer. Thank you for your comment and for watching!
@@CTECH-REVIEW I get it. Been towing 40 years..just wanted your take
Not much better than 6.4 hemi pulling a heavier trailer. Generally in low 9 to low 8mpg. Gets 7.5 grossing 24,500#.. but you do have an exhaust brake, that's nice.
Thanks for watching!
my 1990 f-350 with the 460 gasser getting 18 miles a gallon in the mountains.....
Very impressive! Thanks for watching!
Is that before it finds the tow truck or are you calculating it in L/100km. Because bull. 🤣🤣🤣
@@Slingshot277 some of that down hill, and no weight, and driving like grandma, and a fresh tune up 🤣 it really does good on gas though.
My 6.7 ford would do better
