Ahh yes, ridiculous things for a teenager to buy like **checks notes** decorations, food delivery, and press on nails? I am convinced that OP is not from this planet.
I don't think she will ever be able to repair the damage that stealing her daughters life savings has done to thier relationship... I'm guessing that OP will be surprised when her daughter goes no contact or doesn't attend the wedding
ESH. Mom for stealing, fiance for being irresponsible. Daughter also was being a little frivolous with money if she was trying to save. Daughter should not have trashed her room. Daughter is not stepdaughter to fiance. And yeah, a discussion should have happened before money was moved.
@@jengsci8268 The thing is though - the daughter was still saving money even if she was being a little frivolous. And how would you react if your parent stole all of your savings? The daughter probably only has her friends as an emotional outlet, so how else is an 18 year old supposed to manage their emotions?? The mother should have had a convo with the finace to figure out THEIR money problems, and have a convo with the daughter about rent, and the daughter can just as easily move out (or be kicked out) at 18. I think the mother and fiance ATH...
OP in the first story said she'd "pay back when she gets her income taxes next year" but I don't see that happening since the fiance already has a bad habit of not paying things back
The deaths in Warriors hit me harder than any other books. There's something about animals that inherently provokes empathy, at least to most. That bully kid not understanding that people could feel for fictional animals is honestly a lot more telling about what kind of person they are than what they think caring about it says about their brother
@@shadowsoulless6227 people feeling sad when a fictional character they like dies is actually normal. Sounds like you're the one who needs therapy if you think that's werid. 🙄
Story 7: I'm extremely impressed with Dylan's ability to stand his own ground, especially at 11 years old. Especially squared in the face of all the other objectors "relenting" (code for "giving up when subjected to relentless whining") after OP showed no interest in compromising with his family in any way. I feel like Dylan will go far, and quite possibly sooner rather than later.
Warrior Cats and Animorphs are two childrens book series that deal with heavy subject matters and definitely had a hand in shaping who I am as a person and adult today. OP was clearly bullying his brother over having emotions and definitely deserved having his console taken away.
Story 1: my mom stole about the same money from me when I was 17. I was saving to buy a car and to this day I think it set me back in life. I now have severe trust issues between that and countless other things and don’t let people borrow money or have access to anything with my money in it. We don’t speak anymore. OP is going to have a rude awakening once her daughter leaves the house.
@@mylifebegunat30 lmao idk, he divorced her pretty fast after I was born though. My dad wasn’t awesome back then either but the main difference is that he’s grown and she’s still insane lol. I do think that all of these people can change, I’ve seen it personally. They just don’t want to have an open mind.
Ironically, I kind of owe my mom that amount of money. She was kind enough to save my sorry a$$ when I got screwed over financially, and couldn't get money from September to February (a couple of years ago). So I can understand the daughter being pissed, because that's a lot of money (for me, because of money exchange, provided it's USD, you just add a 0. So 3k USD is 30k for me)
Warrior cats is a fucking brutal book series. I started reading them in 6th grade and I still to this day have a ton of very vivid images of very specific deaths from that series in my head at 26.
^^ this! I got these books for Christmas last year, and I'm loving it... As a 20 year old adult who can cope with the descriptions. I think the death the kid was crying over probably would've been lionheart, which was quite tame, but the scene where they shared tongues with him for the last time and blue star sat with his corpse for the whole night wrecked me. I can't blame a 12 year old for crying about that (and his brother bullying him?? Wtf) when I did the same as an adult
Yeah a lot of people judge it just because it's about cats. Bestie, it's a YOUNG ADULT novel series that has included (and this is by no means a full list) Murder Childbirth Death (RIP Silverstream) Infanticide Children Dying (RIP Mosskit) A literal murder cult (Fuck you Bloodclan) Attempted Regicide (Tigerstar you bitch) Actual Regicide (Pretty sure Tigerstar murdered the previous Shadowclan leader, right?) Kidnapping/Hostage Situations (Yandere Ashfur) Forbidden Romance (Weren't Leafpool and Jayfeather related??? Correct me if I'm wrong but if Jay was Squirrel's son and Leaf was Squirrel's sister... please tell me I'm remembering wrong!) Time Travel/Ghosts (I miss Fallen Leaves and Half-Moon) War (LOTS OF WAR) Fratercide ("Before there is peace, blood will spill blood, and the lake will run red...") Cryptic/Disturbing Prophecies (See above for an example) Witness Protection (Ravenpaw should have gotten an honorary Warrior name, dammit) Mental Illness (Senile/Depressed Bluestar straight up naming an injured Warrior "Lostface" after she was disfigured in a fight that killed her brother... way to boost morale, Blue...) And a lot more that I probably shouldn't have been allowed to read as a child ^^'
@@Kinokoumori leafpool and jayfeather weren't in a romance, but it is shown that she is actually his and his siblings mother squirrelflight was pretending to be their mom as leafpool was a medicine cat and wasnt allowed to have a partner and kids
also shadownclan's previous leader before tigerstar died from sickness, tigerstar just saw an opportunity as shadowclan was recovering from said illness
Yeah, very much so. Warriors is about 4 feral cat "clans" fighting for territory, there are also scenes of grooming and SA later on, adults being crushed to death, cats being hit by cars, etc.
Yeah, there’s a lot of not so kid friendly stuff in there. Murder involving entrails hanging out,l grooming, childbirth, mass genocide, dying babies, literal hell, to name a few!
As someone who has read about 10 books from it, it gets very brutal very fast. And I DO NOT fault the younger brother for crying! I cried thrice when I read those books (and I was 16yo at the time), as not only are important character deaths often brutal, but very well written.
@@savannahfiestypants256 unfortunately some people see cats on the cover and automatically think child appropriate. People did the same with watership down back in the day despite the 15+ age rating. @@justaperson4656 oh I remember Watership Down.... I watched it WAYYYY too young & I only watched it the one time because it traumatized me. I don't know why my mother let me watch it. It's a graphic, disturbing movie! 😳
THANK YOU People don't realize that just because Warriors is about cats, doesn't mean it isn't still a YOUNG ADULT series! I've given extensive lists of the gruesome content in other comments, but anyone who has read the series knows it is BRUTAL!
@@Kinokoumori Heck, I got into the Warrior series as an adult and absolutely love them! Read book to book and.... now I have over... oh goodness.. there has to be over 50 books I have. EASILY if not more. Makes me wonder which character it was, some really hurt during the series- one character in particular hurt the writers so much they brought them back in a strange recarnation of them. I cried multiple times, made my iwn Dan stories. It touches on a lot of tough subjects. The fact this brat immediately started with "There was a picture of a derpy/stupid cat on the cover" ready shows how instigating he was. Not to mention his entire zero empathy towards a type of animal. Not sure if he meant 'not a REAL cat' but the words was he couldn't cry BECAUSE it was _just a cat._ I'm assuming he's either a cat hater or doesn't understand how fictional stories can still create emotions. I'd argue his video games can't give him any emotions either _because they aren't REAL characters!_ I've met real people like this. Funny enough my brother teased me for sniffling at a part of a book. I explained the situation, he apologized but because he has dyslexia & dysgraphia(spelling unsure?) He never got into books. My words must've gotten through to him somehow because afterwards my brother started trying out audio books instead and hasn't ever teased me since. He's actually bought me more Warrior books he knew I didn't have yet for celebrations and such. I hope this kid eventually turns a new leaf like my brother did. Recognizing how it's a major part of being human to feel a ton of emotions or all sorts even through stories; real or false. Not saying those without unfortunately any emotion or empathy aren't human; it's just a big part of what we usually are.
Story 7- I'm not a big fan of dogs, and if someone I live with got one anyway and forced me to take care of it I'd probably barely speak to them. I feel terrible for OP's son. :( (Also for clarity- I don't hate dogs, just afraid of them.)
Story 7:Imagine being so irresponsible,you make others take care of your responsibilities even when they clearly stated they won't help,and later punishing them for standing their ground,E M B A R R A S I N G ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Story 7: is OP a child? Because Dylan is showing far more maturity than his father. The need to appeal to the mom and the issues with the sports, theres some toxic masculinity that needs to be sorted out here.
“No normal person would read a book about kitty cats” literally EVERYONE READS WARRIOR CATS. And it’s not just abt cats, it has horrifying deaths that are definitely not for kids. But yeah I guess Watership Down and Felidae are just a bit bunnies and kitties too, right??
I've actually not read them. I want to, but they are stupid hard to get a hold of where I live (and I can't shop online atm). But I have read and seen Watership Down and Felidae. And Plague Dogs. And though not as dark, The Guardians of Ga'Hoole. Granted, the hagfiends are wicked.
SAME !! OP in this story gets a personal AH score from me bc I was their little brother at one point in my life LMAO my own brother was my bully too😭😭 && jokes on him bc those books were awesome & the community helped me make so many friends
Not to mention the WORDING! I don't know if he meant "They aren't REAL cats" but instead he worded it "It's _just a cat!"_ Which makes me think he is either a cat hater- which I've met many like this. Ooor he doesn't realize how hypocritical he is be having any emotions over his video games because they're not real yet he can feel joy, rage, or sadness from them. It's pretty much a human straight to feel emotions even when being told stories; real or fictional.
Dog Story: When getting a dog and you have a family EVERYONE has to want the dog, EVERYONE had to contribute to the dog, and EVERYONE needs to agree on how to work with the dog. Getting a dog when not everyone is actually on board is just horrible. I feel bad for the puppy and the kid for getting punished for no reason
My bf mom made a comment about our house once, and he told her not to be saying stuff about how we take care of our house and she didn't say it anymore. I still feel her displeasure when she comes though
Imagine how mom in law would act if anyone came to HER place and said something. I mean really, did she completely forget that she was their age once too?! Imagine how she'd feel if her son said something like, "You wouldn't have liked it if Grandma did this to you when I was a baby!"
Story 5: They are absolutely the AH. As someone who actually grew up reading warriors, those aren't "just some cats" to us. Like with most other books their world draws you in, gets you invested, and its easy to get attached to the characters. Its something that brings us joy and even if you think its stupid or trivial, it means a lot and you should never make fun of someone for it. I was given the first book by a wonderful nurse who'd seen me upset because my gramma was in the hospital, and they've been a comfort to me ever since. Maybe try asking him about it to understand him better
Warrior Cats is like Game of Thrones for kids. The book, not the show. That series gets really intense so I can completely understand why the death of a favorite character is upsetting
Your brain can't form emotional connections to fictional characters so it registers them as real people when you form emotions in regards to them. If your favorite character gets ended in a book or show your brain actually starts the grieving process for a real person. I don't know anything about the cat book. I just thought this might help explain why the brother was so upset over the book.
Story 5: Warrior Cats is really brutal. Like, one character, who has 9 lives because Magic, gets his throat gouged out by another character who has dog teeth attached to their claws (don't ask me how that works, they don't have thumbs). The slash in his throat is so deep that the character heals, only to still bleed out, 9 times. Like, his body is spasming, he's choking on blood, and everyone is horrified. It's intense. Another book has characters mauled to death/one horribly disfigured by dogs. That being said, the writing itself is just kinda meh. Like, it's a slightly lower quality version of Watership Down. Also, there are so many books now that it's terrifying. There's sequels, prequels, one-offs, alternate PoVs, it's a lot.
Add onto that the fact that the cat disfigured by dogs was literally named Lostface by her senile leader after already feeling insecure about her appearance and grieving the loss of her brother. And the fact that Scourge/Tiny led a literal cult hellbent on grooming kitty pets into murderers and trying to destroy the four clans. And as I've mentioned before, Ashfur going Yandere over Squirrelflight and holding her three children hostage in the middle of a FOREST FIRE
OOOR the fact they have a insane leader who not only forced young cats(children) to babies fight to the death, kill them himself and send them out to war.... And the big one people are forgetting is the topics on how religion can help a individual, how religious leaders can abuse their authority and knowing when to do the right thing, and all that jazz.
Story 2:Bro,this OP is exactly like those childish ahh teenager girls who explode over another girl wearing the same outfit as them, whether by coincidence or not
I'm gonna go against the grain here. She specifically wanted this one ring out of ALL the rings in the world. The fact they chose this specific ring from the exact store she saw it at... that just doesn't sound like a coincidence. Sounds like bro didn't know what his girlfriend likes and took the ring his sister likes (not the most romantic gesture BTW, I have WAY different taste then my sis, if my fiance grabbed a ring she likes I would probably hate it, as our hands are very different thickness / lengths meaning the ring would look different on us both) personally I recommend to anyone looking for a ring to propose with a band and have your fiance choose their own ring. This is something most people will expect her to wear lot and if the engagement is also the wedding ring then forever. Saying yes because you love the guy while hating the ring is not uncommon)
Story 5: in defense of that kid, I read a story called “Eleceed” which is about a kid who loves cats and gets trained by a “warrior cat” and it is by far one of my favorite series of all time. Incredibly wholesome and very well drawn. Go read Eleceed!
Story 5. I’m too old to have read any of the warriors series, my favorite book was where the red fern grows. I was ABSOLUTELY devastated at the end. OP was definitely the AH.
Those books are for young adults, but I hot into them as a adult and I still love and buy the book series as it's on-going. It touches on heavier topics much like how Watership Down does-- but has _adorable bunnies._ It's mostly about religion, religious wars, wars, forbidden romances in-between warring territories, bloody battles, death of maaany different ways. But also has a ton of good life lessons throughout. Heck, one of the first bad guys uses extremely young characters (kittens to near newborns) & forces them to fight to sometimes the death, kills them himself and Kidnaps more just to make a larger army. It's not only these subjects- but they are throughout the books. They're extremely popular for a reason, not only to young adults but many adults enjoy them as well. :)
Story 5: Warriorcats! I read those books as a kid! They were the first books without pictures I got hooked on (which is a milestone for a youngster). I really loved them and they're a huge part of my life now, affecting my art and writing. They're not just cats, they have human personalities and thoughts, one dying has the same impact as if reading a book about humans. Honestly it was hard being a fan of them in gradeschool / middleschool, when I took them with me I was constantly made fun of by classmates meowing at me and calling me a furry (I have nothing against them, but being called that still makes me uncomfortable due to it). It came to the point I only read books at home, even when we had "reading hours" classes at school. I forced myself to read hunger games (which I ended up liking so that's nice) but I imagined them as cats to cope. To this day I can't read a book without humans turning into cats in my mind, I think that coping mechanism is simply here to stay. Also I was upset about a character dying aswell, it was written well and it made me cry to my mom. You know what she did? She didn't laugh at me, she consoled me and appreciated sharing my reading feelings with her So yes OP, you are the butthole. Put down that controller and read a book for once, maybe you'll learn something then Edit: Wow I wrote myself out I didn't even notice lol, sorry about that
Sorry those bullies had such a big impact on you! These books are still EXTREMELY popular to this day and still on-going! Even adults like myself love them! I cried multiple times, I've gotten giddy or excited during big moments or very anxious at things going wrong. Those books made me feel like no character was safe, lol.
I really want to know how the sister was "parked like an idiot" in the 4th story because the OP sounds entitled and unless the sister actually "parked like an idiot" it's just as likely going by OP's entitled attitude where they were just driving like an idiot, it's kind of hard to hit a non moving car unless you're pinned in!
I haven’t read them, but my understanding is that warrior cats is essentially YA game of thrones, with cats. If that’s true, I can’t blame the kid one bit for being upset, and his brother needs to lay off.
The OP in the fifth story made me kinda laugh cuz clearly he's never seen just how big the Warriors fandom is/has always been. It was HUGE in the earlier days, and has managed to hold onto a pretty good size following. I've never read them but I see fanworks of it all over even to this day (the series is like 20 years old at this point, for context). It's not "abnormal" at all and his brother is hardly singular in his love of the series.
Ahhh! Now I can’t unsee it either! The other eyebrow’s not raised- it’s there, just lowered. But I’m forever going to see it as one eyebrow now anyway lol.
Story 5: OP is an asshole for bullying his brother, I’d not tolerate it if he bullied anyone for having a love for the series. My younger sis used to love Warriors when she was little
Post 5. WOW as someone who LOVED the Warriors series growing up and still has a massive collection of the books, this one made me SO MAD! The older brother doesn't even understand that the series itself is for young adults as it has a lot of violence and other dramatic scenes (I'm still shook up from the whole thing with Ashfur holding Squirrelflight's children hostage in the middle of a wildfire) so no, it's not just a series about kitty cats, it has some very mature themes that yes, made me cry as a child. Tears still spring to my eyes when I think about Silverstream's death. And don't even get me started on the literal murder cult that was Bloodclan, or the fact that Tigerstar was a murderous tyrant who even treated his own mate like dirt after he found out she used to belong to a human. Or Bluestar going senile and actually trying to name a young Warrior "Lostface" after she was severely injured in a fight with some foxes that left her disfigured and killed her brother (luckily Firestar changed her name to Brightheart after Bluestar died, which drastically helped boost her will to live after the accident). Maybe the older brother should actually take the time to read the series before LITERALLY judging a book by its cover. Totally the Asshole.
@@angb6616 It's a really good young adult series with a lot of mature themes and fairly decent writing! If you liked Watership Down, you'll probably like Warriors!
@@sailorstar4367 Oh yeah! Or how... I forget the poor kid's name, but the deaf kit that was carried off by an Owl? My grandson is reading the Warriors books and adores them. I am not a cat person (violently allergic), but I share happily in his joy. That older sibling is a butthead.
The one with warrior cats made me laugh. I still read those books to this day and mainly read books about animals that act like humans so her statement made me laugh hard!
Lol I actually got into the series as an adult. Still buying books and love the series! Even made my own fan story.... which... is extremely eerily similar to their new Storm clan. Same name, same way it came together, almost everything expect my story is placed on a tropical island. Lol It's weird when similar ideas happen like that.
“She just wants to live rent free in our home” do you even like your child you clearly don’t respect her or want her to live with you unless she gives you something “but I didn’t do anything wrong” if you think that then why are you even here lol Okay but we ordered Mexican yesterday for Cinco de Mayo and now story 3 is making me crave the empanada I had last night 😋 Story 4: OP is lucky that her drowsy driving didn’t kill someone

S4. This nut purposely did what I still occasionally have nightmares about: consistently forgetting to attend a class. I haven't been in school since 2006 (or 7...I'm bad with remembering numbers, I blame the ADHD😅). I would *never* purposely ditch out on a class, esp one that *had to be paid for*! College isn't free (unless I misunderstood & this was HS)! I haven't ever actually firgotten class, I'm apparently just subconciously really paranoid about it. Again, I blame 45 years of undiagnosed ADHD for this.😅
Story 7 reminded me of when my step mom first moved in and she got mad that I wanted nothing to do with her cats. I had no problem with them being there bc they were well mannered and very sweet but I refused to clean their litter box because they weren't my cats and she got mad at me for that. Also one of her cats would throw up in my room/on my bed and she got upset that I insisted my door be closed after that bc it ruined a brand new blanket my grandma got me.
Everything she did for her? Mame, your daughter wasn’t asked to be born, you bought her into this earth without her permission and therefore it was your responsibility and obligation to take care of her. An 18yr old in school is a child and she shouldn’t have to take care of you and your man. What the actual hell im fuming 😡
Story 5 - I'm not a Warrior Cats reader, but even I know that people really like it online, OP needs to grow up and learn that people can like books outside of Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. Even I'm slowly reading my way through Baccano, a series about 1920s gangsters getting their hands on booze that makes whoever drinks it Immortal. I guess OP thinks I'm a loser too because it's based on events that happened 100 years ago.
Bro i literally watch these every single day as a morning routine while i feed my cats. Thankyou for the quality and consistent content, but don’t burn yourself out tho!
Story 1 reminds me of that kitchen nightmares episode with...um... idk burger guy... His father died and left like...250k to him and the same to his son. He burned through his own money, and they stole the inheritance from his son... Then had the audacity to say "I don't know why he's so mad at me"... AAAAHHHHH.
In response to the 5th story, I used to work for a library and the Warrior Cats series is SUPER popular. It was very rare that we weren't pulling at least one copy a day because there was a request for it in the library system. The older brother is a dick.
I find it amusing how quite often they are able to paint themselves in a bad light pretty much straight away. Story 5 for example: "AITA for "bullying" my brother?", "I (17m) ... my little brother (12m)". If someone is already saying you are bullying a 12 year old that you are 5 years older than, then yeah, you are probably the a-hole.
Story 7. I can kinda relate, my brother developed a cat allergy, and we had cats at dads place. He told our dad "its either the cat or me" dad chose the cat, my brother moved to mom, we followed because we brothers support eachother. Dad still wonders why our relationship is strained 😅
Story 5. Warrior Cat is actaully pretty well known books. A LOT OF PEOPLE read or have read them. I used to own the first book all the back in the like elemtery school. It's been around since 2003.
Story 6. Whenever people seem to do little when their parents are being assholes to their spouses or whoever, I put it down not to the person being bad and unsupportive per say, but more that they've grown up under their parent's thumb so much that the behaviour is normalised to them and the idea of resisting is almost hostile/alien to them, because in their minds, that's how it is and they're powerless to stop it.
Story 5: The Warriors series is one of the most popular children's/middle grade book series. I know a lot of adults who really enjoy those books too, and I've been meaning to read them soon, so a lot of people read books about "kitty cats." I hope the bullying gets nipped in the bud by OP's mom, and the brother doesn't internalize those insults. Books, like any other art form are meant to be transportive and evoke emotions for the reader. The brother having an emotional reaction is perfectly normal.
Story 5: it is most definitely Warriors, I’ve read some of them. Survivors is a series by the same author about dogs. There’s also a set about bears but I can’t remember the name
Story 1: He's not her stepfather though? First he's only a fiance, and second - there will still have to be an official adoption process (completely optional and in their own time) in which due to age she will have a say. So far he's mom's fuck buddy in the name of whom the not-step-child is being disrespected and robbed behind her back, for.
Story five: Haven't seen anyone mention that this is actually a *wildly* popular book series. "No normal person would read about _ kitty cats"? Well kiddo, they've sold 30 million copies and I as a person who never read it and was out of the age range by the time it came out know stuff about it through populator osmosis so it seems to me like your definition of 'normal' needs adjusting, because this book series is pretty commonplace.
Warrior cats have literally 60+ books to the whole series, it's not just a book series it's a dedication. Keeping up with everything is an additional dedication. If someone says they read or have read Warrior cats, have respect and perhaps a little fear of them.
Story 5: OH MY GOD you're such an AH. I have the warriors series myself and at 20, those books are traumatising. There's disfigurement, child death, murder, domestic terrorism, SA, the list goes on. I wouldn't recommend it for a 12 year old, but personally I love them. You shouldn't mock someone for being upset at a plot point anyway, and I have a feeling if he's only just starting to read them, the death was lionheart, who got murdered on a patrol.
I was thinking that too. Either Lionheart or Redtail just got discovered. Redtail was the first that made me cry, he was one of my favorites. The two most disturbing things in the series for me were Ashfur going Yandere and holding Squirrelflight's children hostage in the middle of a forest fire And the fact that, now that I think about it... weren't Leafpool and Jayfeather related?! Jay was Squirrel's son and Leaf was Squirrel's sister... forget the rule about medicine cats, this was straight up incest! Unless I am horribly misremembering the family trees/relationships...
Story 5: things like this have always irritated me beyond belief. Why is it such a problem for someone to have a special interest? Regardless if you consider it “childish” or “weird” if someone is having fun enjoying what they like not hurting anyone or themselves there shoulnt be a issue. It used to be considered “nerdy” to like super hero comics and movies but now there so mainstream that weve gotten burned out on super hero movies in general! Specifically what he mentioned being warrior cats isnt even childish in the slightest. You have graphic fight scenes close to full out wars, characters who legit poison kits, a leader being gutted, and specifically the most current arc being the leaders wifes ex has possed the leader corpse in order to get revenge on the wife simply for rejecting him in the past- and before that when that same character was alive he threatened to throw her children in a forest fire they where trapped inside of- not to mention all the themes of xenophobia against the different clans of cats and abelisim specifically in regards to briarlight.
Story 1: Financial abuse is something that isn't addressed nearly enough.
Ya, the statement of "I'll pay you back from my income tax rebate" should have been part of a discussion BEFORE the money changed accounts.
Ahh yes, ridiculous things for a teenager to buy like **checks notes** decorations, food delivery, and press on nails? I am convinced that OP is not from this planet.
Story 1:The fact they had to resort to stealing from their daughter to pay their bills shows how crappy these *parents* are at life
I don't think she will ever be able to repair the damage that stealing her daughters life savings has done to thier relationship... I'm guessing that OP will be surprised when her daughter goes no contact or doesn't attend the wedding
This is a surprisingly common story from the USA, except it's usually in the manner of taking out & defaulting on debts in their childrens' names.
Story 1: Wow!!! OP stole from Daughter. That's not Daughter's Stepfather. That is OP's Fiancé. DISGUSTING!!!
ESH. Mom for stealing, fiance for being irresponsible. Daughter also was being a little frivolous with money if she was trying to save. Daughter should not have trashed her room. Daughter is not stepdaughter to fiance. And yeah, a discussion should have happened before money was moved.

The deaths in Warriors hit me harder than any other books. There's something about animals that inherently provokes empathy, at least to most. That bully kid not understanding that people could feel for fictional animals is honestly a lot more telling about what kind of person they are than what they think caring about it says about their brother
They aren't real, they're talking cats....you need therapy
@shadowsoulless6227 do you understand the point of fiction?
@@jellyskink People like this are joyless and only read history and science books

1st story: OH HELL NO! That teen would have been more than justified disowning her mom.
I hope you're living a good life now, with someone in it you can actually trust!
Dang same! But I was 16 and it was $5,000. Where do our dads find these monsters?
So 3k USD is 30k for me)
Stories about financial abuse are always so sad. Hope the daughter from the first story gets her money back
Warrior cats is a fucking brutal book series.
Bestie, it's a YOUNG ADULT novel series that has included (and this is by no means a full list)
Murder
Childbirth Death (RIP Silverstream)
Infanticide
Children Dying (RIP Mosskit)
A literal murder cult (Fuck you Bloodclan)
Attempted Regicide (Tigerstar you bitch)
Actual Regicide (Pretty sure Tigerstar murdered the previous Shadowclan leader, right?)
Kidnapping/Hostage Situations (Yandere Ashfur)
Forbidden Romance (Weren't Leafpool and Jayfeather related??? Correct me if I'm wrong but if Jay was Squirrel's son and Leaf was Squirrel's sister... please tell me I'm remembering wrong!)
Time Travel/Ghosts (I miss Fallen Leaves and Half-Moon)
War (LOTS OF WAR)
Fratercide ("Before there is peace, blood will spill blood, and the lake will run red...")
Cryptic/Disturbing Prophecies (See above for an example)
Witness Protection (Ravenpaw should have gotten an honorary Warrior name, dammit)
Mental Illness (Senile/Depressed Bluestar straight up naming an injured Warrior "Lostface" after she was disfigured in a fight that killed her brother... way to boost morale, Blue...)
And a lot more that I probably shouldn't have been allowed to read as a child ^^'
@@Kinokoumori leafpool and jayfeather weren't in a romance, but it is shown that she is actually his and his siblings mother

@@Red-hy8df Right thanks, it's been awhile since I last read the series so my memory is a little fuzzy.
Story 5: I haven't read those books, but I suspect it's about "kitty cats" in the same way Watership Down is about "bunnies"
I’d totally forgotten about Watership Down. Heartbreaking. And James Herriot’s books.
Not sure if he meant 'not a REAL cat' but the words was he couldn't cry BECAUSE it was _just a cat._
I'm assuming he's either a cat hater or doesn't understand how fictional stories can still create emotions. I'd argue his video games can't give him any emotions either _because they aren't REAL characters!_
I've met real people like this.
1) if daughter kept good records op is now facing felony charges depending on the state they live in.
Story 7- I'm not a big fan of dogs, and if someone I live with got one anyway and forced me to take care of it I'd probably barely speak to them. I feel terrible for OP's son. :(
(Also for clarity- I don't hate dogs, just afraid of them.)
Story 4:Oh,So OP basically committed a hit and run,lol
The "insurance will pay for it" attitude was facepalm-worthy. What does OP think will happen to his father's insurance premium?

Story 7: is OP a child? Because Dylan is showing far more maturity than his father. The need to appeal to the mom and the issues with the sports, theres some toxic masculinity that needs to be sorted out here.
“No normal person would read a book about kitty cats” literally EVERYONE READS WARRIOR CATS. And it’s not just abt cats, it has horrifying deaths that are definitely not for kids. But yeah I guess Watership Down and Felidae are just a bit bunnies and kitties too, right??
Right like one, people do read books about kitty cats and two warrior cats absolutely cannot be described as “kitty cats“.
Plague dogs is just about cute puppies right? :(
I've actually not read them. I want to, but they are stupid hard to get a hold of where I live (and I can't shop online atm).
But I have read and seen Watership Down and Felidae. And Plague Dogs.

@@W0UND3AD Damn right! THUNDERCLAN FOREVER!
I hope daughter in the first story goes to the police. I'm pretty sure stealing more than 2 grand is a higher class crime.
Story 5: Warriors is one of the most popular books. It was popular 20 years ago when I was in elementary school. And it is still popular today!
Dog Story:
When getting a dog and you have a family EVERYONE has to want the dog, EVERYONE had to contribute to the dog, and EVERYONE needs to agree on how to work with the dog. Getting a dog when not everyone is actually on board is just horrible. I feel bad for the puppy and the kid for getting punished for no reason
Story 6:Allowing someone to make negative comments about your partner in your own house and doing nothing about it is not a good thing at all
My bf mom made a comment about our house once, and he told her not to be saying stuff about how we take care of our house and she didn't say it anymore.
I love my dog more than anything in the world, but I sure as Hell don’t expect other people to like him. Damn.
The OPs on Stories 5 & 7 sound like they'd get along great.
I was an AVID Warrior cats fan as a kid. I read the whole series. They’re good books, well written and cats are awesome.
When did you stop reading? Because... well... the series is still on-going today.
Story 7 - Dad is the AITA with a capital A!
I always wondered this when I get emotionally attached to fictional characters. Thank you
It’s a pretty brutal series
Story 2:Bro,this OP is exactly like those childish ahh teenager girls who explode over another girl wearing the same outfit as them, whether by coincidence or not
Seems she never really grew up past that.
@demonheart13
That would be a plot twist and a half, but we all know it ain't the case

Story 3:Out of all the places,OP just had to pick the one place BF doesn't like, even when he's the one who's paying
And then say "no you don't get to eat because you didn't want anything from the place I knew you wouldn't like"
Story 5: Bet OP'd be upset if I told him "it was just a character" when he got upset about his favorite Marvel character getting Thanos snapped.
Story 5. I’m too old to have read any of the warriors series, my favorite book was where the red fern grows. I was ABSOLUTELY devastated at the end. OP was definitely the AH.
Those books are for young adults, but I hot into them as a adult and I still love and buy the book series as it's on-going.
It touches on heavier topics much like how Watership Down does-- but has _adorable bunnies._
It's mostly about religion, religious wars, wars, forbidden romances in-between warring territories, bloody battles, death of maaany different ways.
She didn't laugh at me, she consoled me and appreciated sharing my reading feelings with her
So yes OP, you are the butthole. Put down that controller and read a book for once, maybe you'll learn something then
Edit: Wow I wrote myself out I didn't even notice lol, sorry about that
Sorry those bullies had such a big impact on you!
How much you wanna bet OP also spend their money on “ridiculous” stuff?
The OP in the fifth story made me kinda laugh cuz clearly he's never seen just how big the Warriors fandom is/has always been. It was HUGE in the earlier days, and has managed to hold onto a pretty good size following. I've never read them but I see fanworks of it all over even to this day (the series is like 20 years old at this point, for context). It's not "abnormal" at all and his brother is hardly singular in his love of the series.
Vincey. I’ve just noticed that you have only one eyebrow in your picture. I can’t unsee it now lol. ❤❤
I assume his other eyebrow is behind the glasses lol 😅
His other eyebrow is behind his left glasses lens actually lol, but it’s easy to miss because the eyebrow looks like a glasses frame.
Ahhh! Now I can’t unsee it either! The other eyebrow’s not raised- it’s there, just lowered. But I’m forever going to see it as one eyebrow now anyway lol.
It's the classic "raised eyebrow in confusion" face and I only just noticed it now myself
Just made me really interested in this series.

He burned through his own money, and they stole the inheritance from his son... Then had the audacity to say "I don't know why he's so mad at me"... AAAAHHHHH.
A random note about those Warriors books, more than 30 million of them have been sold, I use to read them 20 years ago and they are still coming out
They're on 80 something books now iirc
In response to the 5th story, I used to work for a library and the Warrior Cats series is SUPER popular. It was very rare that we weren't pulling at least one copy a day because there was a request for it in the library system. The older brother is a dick.
I find it amusing how quite often they are able to paint themselves in a bad light pretty much straight away. Story 5 for example: "AITA for "bullying" my brother?", "I (17m) ... my little brother (12m)". If someone is already saying you are bullying a 12 year old that you are 5 years older than, then yeah, you are probably the a-hole.
I have friends who LOVE those Warriors books! Lots of people read them!
Story 7. I can kinda relate, my brother developed a cat allergy, and we had cats at dads place. He told our dad "its either the cat or me" dad chose the cat, my brother moved to mom, we followed because we brothers support eachother. Dad still wonders why our relationship is strained 😅
Another horrifying video! thanks for giving me reasons to be thankful for the family, Vincey!
Also, how dare OP diss the series
Wait till OP in Story 5 learns about the warrior cats fandom lmao
I was apart of that fandom
Story 1: He's not her stepfather though? First he's only a fiance, and second - there will still have to be an official adoption process (completely optional and in their own time) in which due to age she will have a say. So far he's mom's fuck buddy in the name of whom the not-step-child is being disrespected and robbed behind her back, for.
I lovedddd the warrior cat books, great fantasy reads
Perfect timing!
The two most disturbing things in the series for me were
Ashfur going Yandere and holding Squirrelflight's children hostage in the middle of a forest fire
And the fact that, now that I think about it... weren't Leafpool and Jayfeather related?! Jay was Squirrel's son and Leaf was Squirrel's sister... forget the rule about medicine cats, this was straight up incest! Unless I am horribly misremembering the family trees/relationships...
I loved Warriors as a kid and still love it now
1:12 SHSS UE DAUGHTEE WDYM REHR FREEE? SHES UR CHILD
Story 3: Stepdad always has to choose where to go or he won't go? How childish.
I love these spicy stories 😭
post 5 - my teenager read Warrior Cats books, they are a great series, she was obsessed. That sibling was just mean.
12:01 "it's just a cat" tell me you're a horrible person who has no compassion w/o telling me... YIKES
RARE THINGS HAPPEN IN TWOS!!!!!! Second day I was watching Vincey when he posted !! 💓🙏🏼
