Craftie, I just found you recently! I adore your work! May I ask where you purchase the majority of your beads and supplies? Thank you gor sharing your talent! Shelly
+Shelly Stone Welcome! I'm so glad you found me! I hope you continue to enjoy my videos. I usually shop for beads online on eBay and Etsy. I don't have a craft store near me so online is my best best. I usually just search and browse on there. If I have current links to what I use in my videos I usually include them in the video description. If not, then it's probably something that has been gifted to me or it's something I just happened to find in my stash. Either way, I'd say you're likely to find a good substitution on eBay or Etsy.
+Marie Acuna Thanks so much! I get most of my craft supplies online. Lol. I don't have much available locally. Thank God for the internet. Am I right?😁 Happy crafting friend!
Very pretty. I was just going through my daughter's bead stash and found her tear drop beads now I can make some for the family. Thank you. Just did subscribe to your channel from watching happy birds video. Love you and her
+Marie Gengarelli I actually just used it as a necklace charm. But YES! you could make 2 and turn them into earrings! That would be lovely! I just label most things as "charms" so that the way you use them is left up to each individual crafter. They are great for necklaces, earrings, charm bracelets, any type of jewelry really... as well as purse charms, zipper pulls, Christmas ornament dangles, or even rear view mirror dangles for your car. The possibilities are endless and can be varied for everyone's individual liking. I love your idea! Stay Craftie my friend.
I found mine on eBay and I think they shipped from China. I'm not sure about finding them in the US. I'm sure you could, they're a pretty common bead. But I do most of my shopping online simply because I don't have a craft store in my hometown. If you have a craft store nearby, check there first. If not, eBay is always a good source. However shipments from China do take about 4 weeks or more to arrive. :-\ Good luck and happy crafting. :-)
+Betty Antworth No, not at all. I just chose this particular ribbon because of the ruffled sheer sides. Any ribbon that you can get your head pin through should work just fine. Happy crafting friend!
Absolutely Stunning, I Love this one the Most! ( I actually sighed when I seen you finished it..Silly I Know) Thank you so much for sharing, :-) I'd like to try this if you don't mind!
+Anna Kunde Thank you so much! I'm so happy that you're enjoying the videos. I don't mind at all if you recreate this! That's why I'm here. I'd be honored to see your finished project. Cut your headpin at an angle it's makes a sharper point. Love this thanks for sharing... can't wait to make some.
You've inspired me, I'm going to start making angels for charms, key rings, etc. God bless u. Landy.

L am loving the angle with the lace came out lovely.
So beautifully done! I couldn't find any elastic ribbon at Walmart, so I ordered online now I can't wait to do this as gifts. Thank you 🤗

Thank you so much Leslie! I'm so glad you decided to subscribe. :-) Yes, I love HappyBird too. She's the best!
You could cut the head pin end at an angle to make a point that might make it easier to "sew" through the lace.
Love love love this...
You could use a sharp needle to make the holes in the lace first then put the head pin through. So stink in’ cute
Thank you Mary. Yes, good tip. That would help.
I wonder if you could go through the ribbon first with a pin, then put the jewelry pin through using those holes? Very cute! Thanks Michelle!
+Karen Hughes That just might work! 🤗 Definitely worth a try. Great idea!
Such a clever idea Thank you so much for sharing xx

Craftie I made a pair of these for my sister for Christmas, and she just loves them! She will be wearing them to a church function.
That's so wonderful to know Patricia! Thanks so much! 😀
I take it as you made them into a pair of earrings, that's what I would love to do.

Does it have to be elastic in the middle?
