This has been one of the most thorough and easy to understand series I’ve watched so far. I’ve gone through each step and my mixes sound wayyyy better than I expected. I’ve watched plenty of mixing tutorials and they can be very intimidating but this series is the exact opposite! Keep up the good work!

Thanks For sharing another great Educational GarageBand Vid. Ive learned so much from your channel. Spent years mixing bands Live and playing Live Myself. Finding what I hear in my head can be tricky Coming from the days of analog and Mixing Boards But your videos really help me find my way around GarageBand. Cheers man.

I wanna thank you Colin for this amazing tutorial! I had some experience with recording and mixing (I used Cubase), and I was kinda frustrated with the results. But this tutorial makes me desire to start all over again, now in GarageBand.
P.S. The order of the videos is wrong. This video is part 27, but it goes after EQ that is part 24.

... Another Fantastic video Colin, really.. No Really helpful... Clear and precise as always.
I have mainly always worked, what might be classed as analogue, and this is a great gateway into transferring those skills to a digital world.
    A Star you are.
Keep up the Great work... And teaching me stuff.
    👍💜

I followed all your videos and finished the automation. It sounds great when I listened to it with my headphones on the computer. Then listened in my car and just on my phone and the piano and bass were not nearly loud enough. How do I fix it?

Hi band, could you please tell me how to automate the volume of a live recording using kontakt instruments? As oppose to manually automating by setting the dots, to be able to automate volume as you record through Maybe a plug-in? Thank you!

Colin, thanks for sharing your experience with us. I have always started my mixing by trimming the beginning and the end of my songs, so the song begins and ends exactly how I want it. You used the ''cycle" feature to select the song for exporting. Is one way better than the other?
