Hej. Jeg var der DEN aften, altid en fest med Status Quo. Har set dem ialt 67 gange første gang i Ostseehalle i Kiel i1979. Fest. Jeg har billeder fra koncerten.

Some really weird things going on during this gig...like the strange strutting around the stage at times, playing some of the songs stupidly fast and the bloke rocking out at the end with what appeared to be a kettle in his hand!
I am a little surprised Steve you mentioned about Jeff,I did like him,Pete Kirchner was a good drummer,,Matt Letley an awesome drummer, young Leon Cave is a totally different from the other guys I mentioned,,,but John Spud Coghlan was the best drummer,,he is a shuffle drummer.. But I can't see John doing Quos new stuff when he left,,VALE SIR JOHN COGHLAN Dougie🎸 W.Australia
The word is it was a great concert. Raining like a MF. When asked if it was safe to go on stage a Dane said in his native language 'if they dare'. The band asked to be paid in cash US dollars.
Alan was the main man until his departure,,but he did alright after he left Quo, But he stayed in Australia and played with the Party boys,Lancaster Bombers,The Bombers,Lancaster Brewster Band,,Sadly missed,Vale Sir Alan Lancaster 🎸🎸👍👍 Dougie W.Australia
Jeff Rich was the worst drummer Quo ever had. He played far too fast and all it did was kill Quo's great rhythm, and made the every track lose that great power and drive. it was almost as if he was trying to get through each song as quickly as possible.
I have to disagree. This line-up was one of, if not, the tighest line-ups the band had. Yes, the songs were quicker, so what. If the band didn't like it, they wouldn't kept for 15 years.
@@markshark7521 Not saying he's not a good drummer. But just my opinion as someone who's seen Quo live over 50 times between 1980 and 2013 I always felt he wasn't right for Quo's unique powerhouse sound. I loved Quo's steady driving rhythm, It's what attracted me to them back in the 70's, and that was completely lost while Jeff was in the band.
Status quo at there worst course no Lancaster our Johnny boy drummer I could only say they played 2 decent songs there. Rubbish rubbish rubbish it was all down the hill when they left fell off the mountain

When it comes to drumming Jeff is in a class of his own, no one can make those drums rock the way he does, such a loss when he left Quo !
see first comment lol
John Coghlan can.
@@ponybloke They overvalue him a lot, there are a lot of good drummers, not just this John.
John coghlan was the best quo drummer
Los mejores sin duda👏👏👏👏🎩
La neta,,,🕶🇲🇽🇬🇧
Best of
Who said the Eighties were the "End of the Road "

When those two are one QUO
Best band ever!
Legendary, even in in 2024 #teamwork as Rick Parfitt checks the Team. He is individual the Best, but he gives the Podium
Rossi ....fantastico Rock&Roll
Wow espectacular Concierto¡¡
B R A V O ¡ ¡
Great concert from the boys in the band
Perfect gig beer flying in air and quo are playing loud…
One Man Band was their best song since 1981. They should've kept it in the set. Rick knew how to write bangers.
Rick and Francis amazing rick was a great loss too soon
Status Quo ❤️
geiles quo konzert
toller sound
und tolle Setlist
Great performance. The speed would have been that good stuff, back then. Tight, they give it all.
Super
Groovy man
Jeg har billeder fra deres koncerter som jeg selv har taget og ingen andres har set.
Hey never seen u outdoor but have seen u every year from 1984
RIP Richard Parfitt an absolutely fantastic band, legends. To be honest only one band would be above them by a tiny margin. Queen love u guys 👏👏❤️❤️
Mm

Why were the mikes set so low? Awkward for the guys to bend down and not a good look. This is not how they usually play.
The roadie was a midget? 🤔
You cannot beat quo and worzzels

Totally agree mate

Don't think so, that's like saying Hendrix used to much distortion! He,s great drummer 😎

Interesting. Never figured out who was speeding up the pace.

Crowd participation tells us otherwise, but of course, you were there right?
NEVER BE ANOTHER STATUS QUO.
