Dartmoor Wild camping BUT with no tent

Wild camping isn't for the faint hearted ! Hammock camping isn't as easy as it looks either.Tarp camping is a skill. we decided to hike to a forest an hour away from the van with only 2 hours light left and a weather warning in place! hiking through rough terrain and getting wet we arrived at the forest to make yes I said it. Make a shelter with a tarp to keep us dry and out of the wind.now wild camping isn't easy let alone on Dartmoor and a weather warning with out a tent to. we made the shelter an hung our hammock and cook on the new fire box a delicious meal but it went sour after this point on until the morning were we got to learn about some of #wildcampinguk #wildcamping #hikingdartmoor #stealthcamping
