Most Americans aren't afraid to spend big if it means they will actually compete. Unfortunately there are a lot of owners that don't know when they actually have the opportunity to compete and either missed their chance because they were too scared or spend big when they didn't have a shot anyway
The problem with most American owners is that they’re unwilling to do what it takes to be on top season after season. Even the best American sports teams take the foot off the gas after winning a championship, and seem fine with finishing in 8th place the next season (due to a postseason playoff system). The newest comments on this video are brutal, but I agree. Todd Boehly fired Thomas Tuchel, the man that made Chelsea win the Champions League, replaced with Graham Potter and now, made the third place club in the prem 10th with a nice 8-7-8 record while our North-West-London derby rivals, Arsenal are number 1 and more Man City’s rivals than ours. Well, after Tuchell firing and the 'reasons' they gave for it. I think the new owners gonna be looked at different...or just as similar as Abramovich, except it is somehow worse. Clearlake Capital is the most important part of the consortium as the majority stakeholder. Another video focussing on them, and their intentions/objectives/strategy would be interesting. They are only investing for profit, nothing else, so it will be interesting to see the change, for better or worse, that brings to Chelsea.
No one can take money out of money for Chelsea so it won’t happen anytime soon
I hope we can finally give a manager time things are looking good
This makes me feel like we’re going to get some good news soon??
The newest comments on this video are brutal, but I agree. Todd Boehly fired Thomas Tuchel, the man that made Chelsea win the Champions League, replaced with Graham Potter and now, made the third place club in the prem 10th with a nice 8-7-8 record while our North-West-London derby rivals, Arsenal are number 1 and more Man City’s rivals than ours.
But hey, if Todd Boehly is the genius like this video is telling me, than maybe Chelsea can run away with the League.
As a Chelsea fan, I like to ask how a club that was 4th then 3rd, are now 10th place smh
My country a not very footballing country, where arguably Liverpool and Chelsea and Arsenal stand on the same footing commercially and status wise, you can easily find Liverpool jerseys in the nike outlets all over the country in physical stores whereas Chelsea jerseys are off the rack nowhere to be seen. Liverpool jackets and caps all available but not chelsea's
If increasing commercial sales and operating like FSG means I get to see chelsea shirts I am all for it.
miss the rough gritty illustration production you guys had going 4 years ago. you got too slick visually i think. wonder why you felt a need to change it
So will pulisic stay ?? I heard somewhere that he was the only player featured in some brochure. Is that true?
Very informative thanks ✌️🇬🇧
Excellent narration
One thing I don't understand is why wasn't the club bought by the government and made into a fan owned club
Because the government doesn’t want to pay- or have to deal with it
Like the Green Bay packers of the NFL
@@Deckotaocholike 15/18 teams in the German Bundesliga and Barcelona and Real Madrid
This video indirectly explain the main problem at man united. Owner.
FRANK IS BACK ❤
Nice video chaps!
After weeks with no signings....lm here drinking my coffee staring with the corner of my eye, at a paused screen shot (7:17) of Boehly and his goons, just wondering....whats happening..
I’m just here for the music! 🌊🌊🌊
Bring back the old narrator 🙏
So what happens to marina and cech?
Chelsea's new owner is by the name of James Maddison and Youri Tielemans
what?
@@TizerisT. We own em

If they are like Fenway, they will not move from Stamford Bridge, stuck in a small stadium. Liverpool should have abandoned Anfield a few decades ago. Liverpool could fill a 75-80,000 seater each week. Fenway will not spend.
When we get sensible transfer for Chelsea?
thought it was owen wilson for a second
Well, after Tuchell firing and the 'reasons' they gave for it. I think the new owners gonna be looked at different...or just as similar as Abramovich, except it is somehow worse. I mean one of the reasons they gave was ''Coach didn't want to get constantly bombarded with basic football questions'' and ''Why didn't we signed Ronaldo?''... Good luck Chelsea, you gonna need it.
Just realized Ian was the voice behind one of my favorite videos on this Channel....the Sunderland video
But has the sale actually gone through already? I read that Abramovich is blocking it because of the rules by the British government where the money should go.
Q: Who are Chelsea's new owners?
A: Mugs
Ian = Joe, if not Ian > Joe
Knowing Premier League owners a dictator or a shady business man at best.
AC Milan too going under US ownership as we speak. Good luck AC Milan and Chelsea fans, because you're going to need it.
?
Whoever drew this , it looks more like Ron white
I really hate when narrator trying to sound dramatic when reading something like this.. it's really hard to understand properly if you (like me) not really native english speaker.. thankfully there are transcript that I can read..
Hey Tifo are you going to do an AC Milan one of this new owner video or because they are not premier league team it doesn't matter?
Almost 8 minute vid to say Barca
Is this the guy that did the intro for The Scary Door ?
wait, what? Shouldn't the title be "potential new owners"?
Sorry guys, the entire brand of this RUclips channel is the voice. Doesn't really work without it. The lad narrating it is doing a great job, but it's not Tifo football
Wow this Todd Boehly guy sounds really great, just as great as how Arsenal are winning the title this season!!!
This wasn't so clear, i needed to understand more bt i couldn't
interesting to see what happens to chelsea because it takes time to change a culture of extravagant wealth and luxury signings over 20 years. It took fsg many years before they were successful.
Ngl I like this narrator. Hes the guy who did the Sunderland video right?
I like England too. They treated me very nice in England. And they dont constantly lie about their values. They really have those values.
Manc and PSG still didn't win the UCL but we did it twice with most passionate owner. So it's proved we didn't buy success we achieved it.We will miss Roman forever albeit boehly will not be another Kroenke and Glazer bcoz of the standards set by Abrahamovic
yep, only ucl matters in football and nothing else. city are the worst club out there achieving no success at all
that's the most dumbest reasoning. you are, and will remain for a really long time an oil club. unless you stop it with the Santa Claus owners
@@ptbauro Nonsense
There's also the fact that Abramovich set a deadline, wanting to win it "in 10 years" (and they won after 9). Maybe, City and PSG could actually win if they focus on these long term plans
You did buy success though. You were just successful.
This sounds like a prank
I'm a happy Chelsea fan again!
why
Chelsea is doing good so far 😂
