My mom and I have stayed at the Wilderness Lodge and we had a balcony room that looked over the pool. Honestly, one of my favorite Disney resorts! I'm glad you got to see it at Christmas time too! Thank you for all that you share with us! I adore you two 🖤
Appreciate the honesty!! So interested to hear your views on Ohana because we visited on our last visit and were so underwhelmed! It’s very hyped and apart from the drinks (we had the same as you !!) we thought it was a 5/10 at best. Also when you went to magic kingdom and left quickly - we did the same. It was to much, to busy. We love the castle and Main Street and the feeling but it’s sadly as an adult not my fav park - we are Hollywood studio and Epcot people! Vlogs are so good and getting us ready for our April trip but more than anything THANK YOU FOR TELLING THE TRUTH! we always say to people that there were days on our last trip to WDW where it was the best holiday EVER and other days where we thought “what are we doing here” 😂😂😂 but we are still returning cause it’s that feeling of the Disney bubble!! Looking forward to more vlogs and wishing you, Benji and of course Bonnie a happy and healthy 2023 🎉
Brogan, I absolutely agree with you on Wilderness Lodge. I LOVE it and it's on my bucket list to stay there one day. I'm not usually fussed about where we stay since we are rarely in the room and can easily resort hop, but that's the one I would love to be at. Maybe one day, but for now I can't bring to spend that much on a room when that money could go to experiences instead. On your next trip you have to check out Geyser Point, food is good, but it's the view and the vibe for me. Also, Storybook Dining is excellent there as well.
I loved this - even though not everything went according to your plans but that’s the reality of a Disney trip that no one usually tells you. Love seeing the parks through your eyes girly🥰✨
Couldn’t agree with your comments on photo pass more. The pictures from our trip in March and December were dire. I’m going back to handing them my phone for photos in the future!
I stayed at the Wilderness Lodge when it first opened. My memory isn't the greatest of it but I do remember bits and pieces of it. Definitely nostalgia for me. I would love to go back again
Firstly what on earth was the sorcerer chewy plush all about 🤣. Totally get what you were saying about the photo pass system Disney have now, as someone who hasn't been to Disney World since 2013 the photo magic pass they had back then was incredible and the experience you got using it added so much to the Disney experience and you got some amazing pictures from it. It's disappointing to see you don't get that same experience now. I am loving this trip and just how real you both are, you're not just showing the magic of Disney but also the negatives as well which people need to see. And just to end that Dumbo ride was one of my highlights of the whole series, Benji absolutely cracks me up 🤣 loving you guys ❤️
So I got to finally go to WDW for the very first time last year in Feb for my 31st birthday (after years of getting to go to Disneyland growing up as I have family in Southern Cali) and I didn't get to see the fireworks show until my last day of the trip. And I was standing there and just started crying at the joy of finally getting to experience WDW and I love the whole theme of the 50th fireworks show about the guests being the magic and so watching your vlog when you got to that part with the fireworks and Mickey said "you are the magic" and that one little firework shot off and the song started "make a wish upon a star" I instantly burst into tears! I'm going back to WDW this year in December but sadly this fireworks show won't be around anymore and I'm so sad I won't be able to experience it live again but I'm glad I got to see it one more time through your vlogs Brogan!
Loving these trip series vlogs. MK was def far more busy. Glad you took us along to see that cosy wooden resort which was so gorgeous with a stunning tree. Ohana def has alot of hype, but we still love it despite the expensive price. Not that i think you eat your money's worth before being absolutely full. The fireworks were ok, but the projections on the castle are absolutely sensational. Breathtakingly beautiful.

I’ve only stayed at values because of tight budget and pop is def the bessstttt not much more than all stars, especially if you get their hotel deals theyve been doing for a while now. And the skyliner is the best thing everrr. But omg wilderness lodge is the dream staaayyy ❤ I saw a tour where someone looked at their new dvc rooms I think?? And they were sooo cute with tons of Mickey camping art. It def looked way more modern but at the same time they didn’t make it look like an ikea room! Looked v cute

We were disappointed with Ohana on our recent trip. We're a family of 5 and the amount of salad and 1st course they brought out was thr exact same amount they brought out for just you and Benji. But the amount of the meats they brought out was INSANE!!! We barely out a dent in the meat and SO much of it went to waste. And they brought everything out one right after the other and we never had time to finish each course before they brought the next one. So I agree with your assessment. I doubt we'll do Ohana again, especially when we're owning for 5 people.

Wilderness Lodge is so beautiful! We love to sit in the lobby to relax during a Magic Kingdom day. You found our favorite fireplace! Sitting there is amazing, and there used to be a scavenger hunt that the front desk could give you. We stayed here for 2 nights during our 20th wedding anniversary trip. You can actually buy into Copper Creek Villas, which is in the main building. Boulder Ridge is the separate DVC (Disney vacation club) building.
Really enjoyed your vlog and my elderly cat Mia was absolutely fascinated by the fireworks as well as your Minnie ears!! It's a small world brings back so many memories of the Los Angeles one. We used to take our daughter there when she was little and we all went recently to the Disneyland Paris. But no Small World I think they were repairing it. You and Benji are fantastic, so honest and funny😂😘😘
I have only recently discovered Brogan (well over last 5 months). What an amazing person she is and her and Benji make a lovely couple. I've been married 42 years and wouldn't be without my husband he's my best friend too. I love all your videos with Benji and your fur baby.Well thank you for making my days enjoyable , so for now back to binge watching. Thank you both for such lovely content.

I absolutely love your video! Haven’t been to Disney World in 14 years and watching your videos reminds me of much joy and love and emotion from when I was a teenager and going. You also have inspired my trip for next year to Disney land Paris with my two young girls!! I also love your relationship and your fiancé. You are so lucky to have a man who loves Disney and is so open and fun and light hearted ❤ Lastly what camera do you use?! Wilderness lodge is an absolute gem. It’s so beautiful. Stayed quite a few times and stayed in one of those rooms you mentioned. The best thing is the out door bar which you didn’t go to 😢 it’s so relaxing xxx
We 100% agree about the photopass we couldn't believe the pics we got with mickey at that spot it was terrible in fact we never got them we had to go to photopass and have them search. We got 2 other groups pics and not ours! Then when we got ours we missed the hug shots and only 1 half usable photo. Even the actual photo pass photographers weren't taking very good pics on our last trip. Also can I say how many funny one liners Benji has 😂 has me in tears
I love your reaction to Wilderness Lodge - we were lucky enough to get married there 24 years ago and this brought back so many memories ❤ you must put this on your list to stay 😍
We first stayed at Wilderness Lodge for our honeymoon in 2001. It will always be our favorite resort. I highly recommend it. It is part DVC and part regular hotel. We often rent DVC points and it sometimes less expensive that way. Staying there makes non park days truly relaxing.
This vlog accompanied me getting ready for my first day back at work of the year! Absolutely loved it :) My favourite part is Benji’s commentary on it’s a small world 🤣🤣

Wilderness Lodge is my FAVE resort and the best at Christmas! Glad you had time to resort hop and soak it all in! Also absolutely agree that Ohana is way overrated but it’s nice to try once! Can’t wait to see how you find Topolino’s! 😊
I have been to Ohana for dinner many times, and recently went back for the first time in a number of years a few weeks ago. I feel the "hype" of the restaurant remains but the reason it had that hype has disappeared. I was also very unfortunate to have a server who was not very attentive and I feel this really impacted my perception of Ohana at dinner. I would likely go back again, but it's very pricey for it not to be a 10/10 meal anymore.
How CUTE with the ears all over your room!!! 😍😍😍 Wilderness Lodge is very pretty!!! Sorry it's so crowded for your Magic Kingdom day!!! 😥😥😥 At least there's plenty of other things to do! The 'Obama food looked yummy! Such gorgeous fireworks!!! ✨✨✨ I thought I wouldn't want to go to Disney at Christmas, because of extra crowds and cost, but it looks so magical that I might be changing my mind. 🤗🤗🤗 Continued love and health to you both from across the pond!!! 💜💜💜
I saw that mickey and goofy pin you traded and instantly jumped up and went to my pin board! I bought that exact pin in 2008 on my first trip to Disney as an 8 year old, still have it all these years later
The Wilderness Lodge looks absolutely insane imagine waking up to that every morning 🥹 incredible. Resort hopping is such a good idea for a ‘break’ day. You can try all the shops and food without leaving the Disney bubble but you get a little breather. Loving these Brogan xxx
Completely agree about the automatic camera! We waited ages and we weren’t told where the camera was at first, so half the photos were us looking confused 😂
Thank you so much for these vlogs! We stayed at Pop last April such a great resort with the skyliner. I'm the same as you would love to stay at wilderness lodge at Christmas time so cozy. We have had breakfast and dinner at Ohana I would def recommend breakfast the food is amazing and there are characters back now too. We are off to Disneyland in the summer so we are rewatching your California vlogs need to do a lot of research as haven't been to California before and we are doing a road trip!Thanks again
I stayed at Wilderness Lodge in the room on the corner a few steps from that fireplace! My partner and I loved it! It was like having a living room attached to our hotel room! Highly recommend Wilderness Lodge: Great food/bars, boat to MK or boat to Contemporary and then monorail to Epcot. Serene and quiet atmosphere; you'd never believe you're right by Magic Kingdom!

I agree with you on the photo pass brogan about them cutting pictures off at the knees we ended up asking a cast member to take a group photo with Mickey in my phone and that turned out better than the actual photo pass picture x
Again thank you so much for your honest review of Ohana 🥰🥰 we were seriously considering booing dinner there during our visit in August but will give it a little more thought🥰 we plan to book breakfast at Grand Floridian one day and explore the resorts on the monorail so we can alway stop off at Polynesian for a drink/snack instead 😃 just loving these vlogs. So many thoughts......O'hana is definitely not living up to the hype right now. I'm glad to see people who appreciate It's a Small World. Is it my favorite ride? Of course not but, I'm like you, it's a core memory from my childhood and a must do each trip. Lastly, I have begun watching the Harry and Meghan documentary on Netflix and kept thinking about who he reminded me of......it's totally Benji! Notice that I said Harry reminds me of Benji and not the other way around! I am loving this series and seeing how much you are enjoying Disney at Christmas!! Happy New Year!!!
I really felt Brogan when she was like “I really need to put the ears back now though” the monica in me was like blergghhhh 😂 wouldn’t be the biggest fan of all my stuff getting rearranged
We were lucky enough to stay at Wilderness Lodge for 2 weeks in December 2019, sitting on our balcony watching the monorail go into the Contemporary and Cinderella castle covered in lights was the most amazing thing ever! Such a beautiful resort at Christmas time 😊
Hey Brogan 🤗 Enchantment did look different to when I saw it last year but I absolutely love it - the song just fills me with joy ☺️ I love Ohana but agree it is expensive but a go to on every trip for me but I get it’s not for everyone. Wilderness Lodge has never appealed to me but I’ve never looked at it properly before - it really did look super festive and lovely. L & R Dreaming ( not sure if you watch them) currently have a vlog series out and they stayed there. I hope you’re having a fab week so far ♥️ xxx
Just watching this vlog and totally agree with your ohana review we did it last year and it’s very expensive for what you get and there was a women next to us on her own and got the same amount as food as we did but we had to pay twice 🙈 x
Yes!! We own DVC and have stayed at Copper Creek several times, it’s just delightful!! Especially at Christmas. You should look at DVC, it’s more affordable than you think!
It totally depends on your palette so check the sample menu first but honestly I thought Boma really, really lived up to the hype (tho I don’t think many people talk about it so maybe that’s why!)
I 100% agreed about Ohana! My partner and I went in May and we were really underwhelmed by the meal. Like you said it is because of how hyped up it was. I would 100% recommend Sebastian’s bistro at Caribbean beach. It is also family style. So much cheaper and it was our favourite meal of the trip! I think that people think that it has a lot of fish on the menu but it doesn’t have any and if there was I think we asked them not to bring it out 😊

I totally agree the photo pass is never that great. It’s always better when they’ll take pics on your phone and then also you won’t either have to pay 16 for an individual picture or a whole photo pass package lol
We were lucky enough to stay at Wilderness Lodge for our honeymoon in 2012 ❤❤ it’s so beautiful, spent lots of afternoons hanging out at that fireplace upstairs with drinks and Disney snacks 😊❤

Bucket list item- stay at the cabins on the water!! There used to be a geyser that went off every hour near the pool at Wilderness Lodge

Lastly what camera do you use?! I would love to get the same one to record my trip next year so I can keep it for my girls when they grow up! Watching a the mini clips of you as kid in Disney really pulled on my heartstrings xx
Wilderness lodge is an absolute gem. It’s so beautiful. Stayed quite a few times and stayed in one of those rooms you mentioned. The best thing is the out door bar which you didn’t go to 😢 it’s so relaxing xxx
We 100% agree about the photopass we couldn't believe the pics we got with mickey at that spot it was terrible in fact we never got them we had to go to photopass and have them search. We got 2 other groups pics and not ours! Then when we got ours we missed the hug shots and only 1 half usable photo. Even the actual photo pass photographers weren't taking very good pics on our last trip. Also can I say how many funny one liners Benji has 😂 has me in tears
I love your reaction to Wilderness Lodge - we were lucky enough to get married there 24 years ago and this brought back so many memories ❤ you must put this on your list to stay 😍
We first stayed at Wilderness Lodge for our honeymoon in 2001. It will always be our favorite resort. I highly recommend it. It is part DVC and part regular hotel. We often rent DVC points and it sometimes less expensive that way. Staying there makes non park days truly relaxing.

Wilderness Lodge is my FAVE resort and the best at Christmas! Glad you had time to resort hop and soak it all in! Also absolutely agree that Ohana is way overrated but it’s nice to try once! Can’t wait to see how you find Topolino’s! 😊
I have been to Ohana for dinner many times, and recently went back for the first time in a number of years a few weeks ago. I feel the "hype" of the restaurant remains but the reason it had that hype has disappeared. I was also very unfortunate to have a server who was not very attentive and I feel this really impacted my perception of Ohana at dinner. I would likely go back again, but it's very pricey for it not to be a 10/10 meal anymore.

I saw that mickey and goofy pin you traded and instantly jumped up and went to my pin board! I bought that exact pin in 2008 on my first trip to Disney as an 8 year old, still have it all these years later
The Wilderness Lodge looks absolutely insane imagine waking up to that every morning 🥹 incredible.
Resort hopping is such a good idea for a ‘break’ day. You can try all the shops and food without leaving the Disney bubble but you get a little breather.

Thank you so much for these vlogs! We stayed at Pop last April such a great resort with the skyliner. I'm the same as you would love to stay at wilderness lodge at Christmas time so cozy. We have had breakfast and dinner at Ohana I would def recommend breakfast the food is amazing and there are characters back now too. We are off to Disneyland in the summer so we are rewatching your California vlogs need to do a lot of research as haven't been to California before and we are doing a road trip!Thanks again

I stayed at Wilderness Lodge in the room on the corner a few steps from that fireplace! My partner and I loved it! It was like having a living room attached to our hotel room! Highly recommend Wilderness Lodge: Great food/bars, boat to MK or boat to Contemporary and then monorail to Epcot. Serene and quiet atmosphere; you'd never believe you're right by Magic Kingdom!

I agree with you on the photo pass brogan about them cutting pictures off at the knees we ended up asking a cast member to take a group photo with Mickey in my phone and that turned out better than the actual photo pass picture x

So many thoughts......O'hana is definitely not living up to the hype right now. I'm glad to see people who appreciate It's a Small World. Is it my favorite ride? Of course not but, I'm like you, it's a core memory from my childhood and a must do each trip. Lastly, I have begun watching the Harry and Meghan documentary on Netflix and kept thinking about who he reminded me of......it's totally Benji! Notice that I said Harry reminds me of Benji and not the other way around! I am loving this series and seeing how much you are enjoying Disney at Christmas!! Happy New Year!!!

We were lucky enough to stay at Wilderness Lodge for 2 weeks in December 2019, sitting on our balcony watching the monorail go into the Contemporary and Cinderella castle covered in lights was the most amazing thing ever! Such a beautiful resort at Christmas time 😊

Hey Brogan 🤗 Enchantment did look different to when I saw it last year but I absolutely love it - the song just fills me with joy ☺️ I love Ohana but agree it is expensive but a go to on every trip for me but I get it’s not for everyone. Wilderness Lodge has never appealed to me but I’ve never looked at it properly before - it really did look super festive and lovely. L & R Dreaming ( not sure if you watch them) currently have a vlog series out and they stayed there. I hope you’re having a fab week so far ♥️ xxx

Just watching this vlog and totally agree with your ohana review we did it last year and it’s very expensive for what you get and there was a women next to us on her own and got the same amount as food as we did but we had to pay twice 🙈 x
Yes!! We own DVC and have stayed at Copper Creek several times, it’s just delightful!! Especially at Christmas.
You should look at DVC, it’s more affordable than you think!
It totally depends on your palette so check the sample menu first but honestly I thought Boma really, really lived up to the hype (tho I don’t think many people talk about it so maybe that’s why!)
I 100% agreed about Ohana! My partner and I went in May and we were really underwhelmed by the meal. Like you said it is because of how hyped up it was.
I would 100% recommend Sebastian’s bistro at Caribbean beach. It is also family style. So much cheaper and it was our favourite meal of the trip! I think that people think that it has a lot of fish on the menu but it doesn’t have any and if there was I think we asked them not to bring it out 😊

I totally agree the photo pass is never that great. It’s always better when they’ll take pics on your phone and then also you won’t either have to pay 16 for an individual picture or a whole photo pass package lol
We were lucky enough to stay at Wilderness Lodge for our honeymoon in 2012 ❤❤ it’s so beautiful, spent lots of afternoons hanging out at that fireplace upstairs with drinks and Disney snacks 😊❤
