    Concerning angular velocity : omega a = omega b (a and b have different position in a circle)
    But the same point when talking about linear velocity, one traveled long distance compared to the other point, so the linear velocity differ because we compute in meters per second, but angular speed cares only about the radians or revolutions per second.

    what does centripetal acceleration do to the motion of the object? does the centripetal acceleration mean the object accelerates toward the center based on the arrow?

    • @jamesmacrae7730
      @jamesmacrae7730 2 года назад

      A centripetal acceleration is what keeps the body in circular motion, and this centripetal acceleration is enforced by a centripetal force. This centripetal force could be the gravitational force acting on a satellite by a planet.
