Reasons why Druig is the best Eternal in MCU 1) Druig was the first person in the team who realized that they were all pawns of the Celestials . 2) Druig is capable of mind controlling entire Human population and end all conflicts but is aware that Humans cannot advance without a free-will 3) In the final fight, Ikaris attacks Druig first because he sees him as the biggest threat against the Celestial emergence .
This guy made druig very likeable and you can hear the pain in his voice of realizing he could have stopped all the war, pain and suffering with a single thought but he is forced to watch and do nothing as it ensues and engulfs the world.(got me in the feels)
In a way, Druig is a contrast to Sersi. Sersi loved humanity but she still followed Ajak's orders. Druig cared for them that he disobeyed Ajak's orders.
i actually thought he would be the secret villain in the group but halfway I didn't care if he would be the villain, hell I'm siding with him. but I'm so glad he has a good heart he's more empathic towards the humans and great use of his powers
I was the same lol I thought "oh no is he going to be the villain??" with such concern but then immediately I was like "heh, I don't care..alllrighty then 🤠." Glad that he didn't turn evil. He was my absolute favorite besides Thena. The best thing about the movie was him.

He's kinda like Xavier and magneto mixed together? Not in an onslaught way but in a way of Xavier if he had an ambition more similar to magneto minus the superiority complex. Just mind control humans and mutants to get a long but that then robs them of the free will of their actions
Druig seriously had a perfect mindset to be a leader if he wasn't so unlikeable to his fellow Eternals. He just can't get them to get along with him. I know a few of them agreed with him when he said all of those things. Gilgamesh, Thena possibly, and I know Makari at least agreed with him partially. Even Sersi might have agreed with him considering how much she cared about the humans since the beginning of them landing there. I don't understand how anyone could have such blind faith in something that tells them to not help the people who are suffering. He just wanted to save and help these people and being told time and time again that he shouldn't get involved or can't get involved takes a heavy toll on his psyche.
Druig had to endure centuries baring witness to needless human suffering knowing he has the power to end it all in an instant, if he didn’t have heart he would essentially be Ikaris lol, so i guess his small corner of the world is the closest bit of preserving peace amongst humans that he’s allowed
when the eternals wear their suit, it starts with ajax, sersi, and then druig, now that ajax is gone, sersi is their leader, if thats how the structure of eternals is, if sersi gone (on which some sense she is), druig might be the third leader of the eternals, also we haven't seen druig at his full power (he could withstand icaris laser beam), heck, i believe could mind control any of magical beings used by dr strange, we havent seen him using his power on deviants/other eternals
3:57 that awkward trade between Druig and Ikaris. I wonder if they were intended ti be cousins in the original draft (like the comics) but they changed their mind part way through filming and left in that random scene.
My thoughts about him being the Joker were meh. Druig was one of the few Eternals who I liked in the film but even then he was meh. But after seeing him I look back and I thought they made a good choice with him
Easily the most compelling and complex character in Eternals, and they only gave him 6:23 minutes on screen time. My guess it because they couldn’t make his powers seem flashy enough. Then they decided that he needed to be broody and difficult to bring back into the fold of the story so they destroyed his village so that he’d have no option. Great character, poorly handled.
