  • Come on board as we fly the Mallard out to a fishing vessel in the Kimberley of Western Australia. Landing on the water, guests are unloaded via small fishing boat to the mother vessel. Video includes cockpit audio and wing mounted footage of the aircraft for both water landing and take-off!

Interesting to watch the variouis procedures in handling a flying boat. It's more physical than a conventional airplane and a very professional presentation that you guys do. Nice!!

I intended to fast forward through much of the video but did a double take for fear of missing out! Nice documentary - thankyou. How Drew and Daniel manage to keep their shirts unsaturated is beyond me!

What a beautiful aircraft to call your office. Great cockpit resource management skills exhibited by both pilots. Passengers are fortunate to have the experience of traveling via the timeless Grumman Mallard. Well done video also!

Oh this is brilliant and beautiful-thanks so much! You hit on two of my favorite things here: Flying boats, and a treasured bit of family history; way back in early 1976, my dear old dad started flight operations across the Northern outback for JAARS, operating out of Darwin in a Cessna 210, not long after Cyclone Tracy flattened the place. This brings back very happy childhood memories of living in Berrimah and listening for him to arrive home at the end of those long days. How I would have loved to share this with him! Sadly, we lost him to cancer in 2020, but after not having thought of it for 40 years, I suddenly heard again clear as a bell, Darwin tower on the extra radio we had at home, saying “Mike Juliet Delta, you are cleared for landing”.

Love the briefing video for your charter clients. Awesome ... as captain for commercial sailing ships we also have to instruct our guests how to use life rafts and fire fighting systems.

Why are you constantly yanking those throttles back when idling? Don't they have friction locks?

Back into beta and reverse from the idle stop, you need to roll the handles forward to lower the inside of the handle below the gate
