This video reviews content from the Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game formerly known as Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game and The Hobbit Strategy Battle Game. MESBG is a skirmish style war game developed by Games Workshop, based off the incredible artwork from the three films by Peter Jackson as well as drawing inspiration directly from the books. Just started getting back into this at the grand age of 30! As a teen I had hundreds and hundreds of models but these are somewhere in my parents loft - so at the moment I’m getting back into the hobby with no models, paints or books!! Watched balins tomb, Gondor at war ep 1 and now this ep 2! Enjoying it so far :) thank you

I've always loved Boromir as a character in the books and in the movies (hats of for Sean Bean). And now that he has got such an important role in the game, I am so hyped for him!!!
He is an absolute beast! I love playing him, so powerful 😁😁

I really love these reports, the combat is very interesting. In turn two, I thought Gondor was done, but they fell back reformed and won. Amazing.
It's such a good game system! Realistic military tactics translate to the tabletop very well

Great game. Great terrain, what more can You ask for. I love that You are going to play the whole narrative. Are those ruins based on Hirst arts molds, if yes which mold do You use?
Thanks buddy :) yes those moulds are, they're made from mould 60, 65 and 40 mostly I believe 😁

Nice report! Isn't Madril the only one that can call Heroic March though? I think I heard you call a Heroic March with other Heroes a few times?
Scarten I think you are right there mate! I believe I called one with Boromir which would be wrong - still adjusting to the new rules 😅
My Orc Captain's definitely have it but I'm not sure about Boromir, let me check :)

Those round towers are actually made with Hirst Arts :)
