Being an OG RAZR fan, I had to pick one of these up for the collection. This phone actually came out in 2019 as it’s the original version. The 2nd gen came out in 2020. Whoops.
They don't really do flagship phones. I hear their midrange phones are pretty decent for more budget-minded people. The problem is the market is flooded with smartphone makers now. Some of the big brands aren't seen or have died: Sony lives but LG and HTC have died. Maybe the cheap Chinese phones might be at Best Buy or you have to order them online. Even Chinese phones are mainly sold online.
The crease looks kinda weird on this one but for the price you paid i'd say it was worth it. It's kinda hard to daily this kind of foldable phone to be honest,i used a Z Flip3 for a year as my daily phone and it gets annoying having to unfold it everytime it gets a notification or answer a call especially if you get lots of them because the exterior display on these phones is mostly useless and you can't really view any notification without unlocking the phone first. Battery on these phones is trash because they can't really fit bigger capacity batteries inside them,my Flip 3 was barely able to make a full day on a single charge with moderate usage. The only foldable phone that is actually usable is the Fold, because it has a bigger battery, can be used as a regular phone when folded and just use the bigger display when you actually need it
Yeah I'm honestly not a fan of folding phones at all for this reason, I just got this one because of the novelty of it. I would never wanna actually use it as my main phone
Hi Ryan, thank you for your awesome review! We want to send you a business email but was not able to find your address. Do you mind sending us your email? Thank you!
Hi Ryan, does it only support up to android 11? Is it possible to flash new systems if so?
does motorola still make phones? i remember blackberry, motorola, HTC, sony, nokia dominated the cellphone market
They do but they have nowhere near the market share they used to
