I recently saw a video of a Jewish man talking about how it's normal in his culture to help each other start businesses, support each other's businesses to keep their money amongst their people, to stay with their parents until their well established financially, to help their poor, amongst other things. He didn't say anything about his people being kicked out at 18 and having to grind and work hard on their own like it's something to be proud of. The people on top have a completely different way of viewing things than the people on the bottom when it comes to family.
Asian communities and Latino communities as well. And I'd add black african communities also. They also have a disdain for anybody in their community using being a part of the community as a tool to get over on other people in the community.
Sadly, black people in general are hesitant to actively take the same approach or adopt the same mindset because of there own real life experiences of black people using being black as a way to take advantage of black people. Or have heard several stories about it and develop a vicarious apprehension.
Tribalism can give a community strength and it can bring about xenophobia, racism, nationalism, and other things.
In the context of this video and the frequent subject matter of this channel, what you said about what's considered normal would be highly frowned upon for black women to hear that about a black man that taking the same path. It would only be looked upon positively after beneficial results have come in and have added up.

It amazes me that women can say they didn't have rights or options in the past but still expect men to act the exact same way they did back when the women had no rights.
These 2 men articulated something a lot better than most of these shows. What’s the point of women having these degrees and incomes if it doesn’t contribute anything or bare minimum.
The biggest difference is that men have to work and provide for a lifetime. While women, when they take care of the kids- stop once the kids become grown. So they get a lifetime of provision for working only 18 years. And even then only the beginning requires work and as the kids get older, the less work it is.

For women, being a stay at home mom HAS to be the hardest job in the world or else their entire worldview falls apart. They're not going to switch places with a man, most definitely not, but they will maintain this narrative till the cows come home. Meanwhile stay at home fathers are content AF. Hell, women will make problems then complain about them later. "Rah rah rah i'm tired of cleaning up after these kids destroy this house!" Meanwhile dad sequesters the kids to one room, makes them clean up said room before moving onto another task. And get this, he actually PARTICIPATES in the play time! Give a woman that advice and she scoffs at you. I noticed these differing parenting styles watching my friends with their kids. Me and my fiancé do 50/50 in our relationship. We have 2 kids a mortgage. Car note. Utilities, kids extra curricular activities etc. We make $200k+/ year between the both of us and we are able to save $1500/month for our family savings account. We sit down every week and pull out our excel sheet to make sure we are on track with our expenses. Basically we are a team and a well oiled machine. We are happy and our kids need nothing. This generation is going against each other, instead of coming together and that’s sad. Other cultures come together as a family, so why can’t we?
A stay at home mom is one thing. If both people in the relationship feel like it’s in the best interest of the family for the man to work and the mom to take care of the kids is then cool. The issue nowadays is women coming in and essentially wanting to be stay at home gf’s/wives with zero kids involved. You heard shorty say herself she’d rather have a roommate than split with a man. Equality goes right out the window when it comes to paying, pursuing, and proposing.🤣
Unfortunately I’m not looking to babysit any women, not looking to work my ass off while she at home chilling. Gotta be really realistic in who you choose to create a family with.
